"That goes against my nature!" Mot yelled back with a grin. These statues were pushing them further and further back. Fears aside, everyone had the right to live. If the statues let them go at the end anyway, all of them would be falling together. As a team.
And then, something happened. Mot looked up as the sounds of gears slowed to a stop.
"Hel! You did it!" Mot cheered, giving the ghoul a wide grin.
Oh, but Riyo was still stuck. "Mitsu's free now anyway. So, let's get you out of here." Mot fired another shot at the offending statue.
His bullet once again did nothing. "...." The reaper cursed under his breath.

Breaking the arm right off, Shun let out a breath before tossing the scythe aside. It wasn't any use to him now anyway. He placed his hands onto Mitsu's shoulders for the moment and gave her a quick look over to see how she was faring.
Hearing Hel sing, he glanced up towards the Valkyrie and hew as about to ask what the hell she was doing, however it seemed that her song was able to cause the gears and statues to stop. Well, that was useful. Though, there was something about her song that seemed to bore into his very soul, dredging up some old feelings of sadness.
Shaking his head, he looked back to the wolfgirl.
"Stay put for now. I'll be back once we free Riyo," he said to her quickly before resummoning his daggers and rushing over towards the statue by the feline. Jumping up he slashed for the statue's head. Unfortunately he barely even made a scratch.

Well, Shu was helping now, so surely the damn statue would be dented! However, even Shun was having difficulty. Secretly, Mot was glad. It meant it wasn't just him being a total loser.
Again, the reaper took a shot at the hunk of metal. At the very least they now had time on their side.
Again, nothing. "...Okay this thing is starting to piss me off." Mot muttered darkly.

Ok. Daggers were pretty much useless against a metal statue. He'd need something that had more force behind it. Blunt damage did more than slashing in this case after all. Stepping back, he dismissed his weapons before attempting to do a skip-sidekick to the side of the figure.
He left a nice little dent where his foot hit.

Went against his nature. Augh, how corny. At the very least, Mitsu was free now..
And wait...
Had Hel's singing stopped the statues?
Damn.
As Shun joined in the battle, Riyo started to kick at the figure, considering nothing else was working. Her poor tail...

Bloody Hell.
Shun was doing more damage with his foot than any of Mot's bullets could hope to do at this point. Mot's eye twitched with irritation for a moment.
Stay cool..
Mot rolled his neck a bit, trying to relieve some tension before stepping back and taking another shot at it. Bullets or nothing. Mot wasn't built for hand to hand combat.

The others were hardly making an impact onto the statue. Shaking his head to himself, Shun moved back a bit again before attempting to land another kick onto the statue's hull.
The armor didn't really want to give in this time around, however.

At least Mot HAD a weapon. Riyo was stuck trying to beat the s**t out of a metal statue with her bare hands... And failing miserably.
"AAAAAAARGH!" She shouted in the statue's face with furrowed eyebrows, resorting to trying to bite the Jack damn thing. She was losing the feeling in her tail!

Nothing. No matter what she did, it got her nowhere. Alright. Well.
MAYBE IF SHE TRIED RAMMING IT.
Backing up as far as her tail would allow, she charged into the metal figure with as much force as she could muster, hoping to Jack it at least cracked a little.

Part of the valkyrie wasn’t expecting this to work…but upon hearing the gears come to a grinding halt, along with the statues, she couldn’t help the feeling of overwhelming joy that swelled in her chest. She did it! She really did it. Hel fell silent once the statues were completely still, blinking before looking over at Mot, and grinned as well, giving a firm nod of her head.
Ah, now time to get Riyo free! The ghoul moved her way back over to the statue, mindful of her team mates around her, and swung her spear at the statue, only to have it do nothing once more.

Hel frowned, “Ah, come on…” She muttered to herself, pulling her spear back once more and slamming it against the statue, feeling immediately relieved as its arm crumbled. Now Riyo was free! “You alright there, friend?” She questioned the demoness good naturedly, dismissing her spear for the moment as she patted Riyo on the shoulder and then slipped around her, back down the platform.
The ghoul stopped in front of Slide D, placing a hand on her hip and rubbing her chin with the other. She turned her head back to her team mates. “This is the one I climbed up.” She pointed down at the slide. “This one didn’t end in a pit…but I don’t know exactly what’s at the bottom either…” Hel trailed off. “…Possibly…should I ride it all the way down? If there’s something at the bottom, I could always fly above it.”

Mitsu had started to follow Shun but the sight of the ledge had her suddenly frozen in fear. She tried to edge forward but her legs were shaking so bad they refused to move. But Riyo needed help too!
Swallowing hard Mitsu took another step, the song Hel had been singing calming her nerves somehow. Maybe it was just that connection between the inner beast and music but it made her a little less jittery as she continued to try and move. Too bad she was too slow though. The statues had come to a halt which allowed the team to gang up on the one holding Riyo and break it down to let her go.
"A-Are you okay, Riyo?" Mitsu was most of the way there, it was progress though her gaze was fixated off to the side away from the ledge. Just don't look and you won't be able to tell how high you are. Just imagine you are somewhere that's not potentially a hundred feet in the air with bottomless pits and could spell your doom. Okay so her thoughts were making it worse.
"Y-you're going to go down the slide?" Mitsu asked nervously her field of vision unwilling to turn toward the slide in question. She could feel her heart thumping though. Eventually she was going to have to go down one.

"Is there anything you can't do?" Mot laughed, as Hel seemed to deal the finishing blow to the statue holding Riyo. Fly, sing, attack. Hel was just a power house in this place. It made him feel slightly useless, but that feeling was small, and did not last. Hel was just an amazing person because of hard work.
Mot dismissed his weapon, stroking his chin as he scanned the slide. "Good call. Sure, give it a shot." Mot was anxious. He really wanted to test the slide himself. However, he had no means of bailing out if it led to a trap.

Since Hel managed to finish the job, Shun shot Riyo a glance before turning back to go where he left Mitsu. She still looked pretty nervous but she seemed unharmed for the most part. Even so, he reached out to gently take the wrist that had been grabbed by the statue to examine it.
"Are you alright?" he asked softly.
Still keeping their task in mind, he glanced back to the other three.
"Alright. Just watch yourself Hel," he said to the Valkyrie. It seemed they were relying on her quite a bit here, but she was best suited for the job. He could try doing it too but it was far riskier for him than for someone who could fly.

The second the statue broke, Riyo's hands were clasped tightly around her tail... Which looked like a wilting plant.
"I'm fine..." The ghoul mumbled when Mitsu asked how she was, a heavy sigh following. "Lets hurry up and get the hell out of here before those statues decide to pull a Pinocchio." She offered no thanks to anybody for saving her, since they sorta owed her in the first place for forcing her to be on the team. Yeah, forcing her.
