"Alright," Lattice said with a small tilt to her head as it seemed to suddenly seem to go off into what seemed to be a tirade of some sort, "My heart...?"
...Yeah Lattice was confused and a prime target for brainwashing.
When she was sure Freya was up and safe Lattice managed to, after a small struggle, get up as well and kind of drift after the other ghoul as her fingertips fiddled with her sash a bit so she could remove her lower clothing. Naturally Lattice wore something beneath it and even if she wasn't wearing panties it would probably had been treated with the same neutral attitude as she awaited an article of clothing to be handed to her.
"Whatever you think would look nice," Lattice replied in an almost cheerful tone.

Freya bent down, and held the mini at Lattice's feet. "You steps inside, and I pulls it up for you, okay?"

Lattice used what she could of her vision to precariously move and step into the mini that Freya held out for her to step into, thankfully her arms didn't swipe or flail they just adequately held her balance and then she stood still waiting for Freya to pull them up.
"Do they always need two people to put them on?" It was good to know for future reference.

Freya lifted the garment around Lattice, shifting it up in increments once it had gotten to her hips. She reached around and pulled it over Lattice's rear, before settling it all in place and zipping it up.
"Nah nah, I puts it on myself, but yeh've never worn something like this before! I figures it would be easier to helps. There, it's snug, but - ahh, looks at those legs, Lattice!" Freya reached out and patted the back of Lattice's knee. "I knew red would be your color. Try to moves in it a little? It's not very comfortables, but it looks good."
She turned the ghoul around, while standing in front of the closet mirror. "You has very nice body, Lattice!"

Lattice stood still and lifted her arms a bit so that Freya could safely do what was needed to secure the small looking garment over her waist and then zip it up. The ghoul gave her hips an odd little wiggle as her hands moved to tug at the hem a little wondering just how Freya could withstand wearing something so...Short.
Her legs felt exposed and she managed to stay still when the back of her knee was patted.
"Well, red is my favorite color," she murmured softly as she tried to walk around, it required a little difference in her usual gait as she walked forward. "Th..Thank you I think? Is it good to have a nice body?"

Freya stood up in front of Lattice and leaned in, giving her a waggle-browed look that she probably couldn't see. This was a good thing, because she was simply being silly. "Yeh bets is a good thing. Yeh comes to the maul with me wearing that skirt, and yeh hears boils go WOO WOO, LADY GHO~ULS, YEH SEXEH LADY GHOULS, COME HAS DINNER WITH US LADY GHOULS. And then we says-"
Here she jumped in front of Lattice and put her hand up in front of the mirror, as if she was objecting to her own reflection.
"NO LITTLE BABY BOILS, WE ARE TOO SEXY FOR YOU AND WILL NOT HAS DINNERS WITH YOU. But maybe we lets you buy us things." She turned around and grinned at Lattice. "And then we dumps them and leaves them crying to their mommies. This is goods plan."

Lattice wouldn't have known what to do with herself if she could see the waggling of the brow so it was safe to say it was probably best she didn't see it right now. She blinked a little at the little performance the Valkyrie gave about how the little scenario would go and her hands lifted up a bit as she started to giggle.
..Giggle a lot.
Mirth had built so much so in Lattice that she just suddenly couldn't stop herself from laughing as her giggles grew to just outright laughter. Her body unused to expressing this much mirth suddenly went weak at the knees and she buckled a bit to the floor the skirt rising a bit upward due to the collapse, "Th..That's silly, Freya! Boils would not buy us things because we look appealing!" she said in protest amongst all her giggling.

As Lattice bent over in giggles, it infected Freya thoroughly. After all, what she was saying was pretty funny - true, but funny! So she started laughing herself, until finally she had fallen to the ground and rolled in laughter. Her own laughter was so very loud, though, and she was sure she had just heard some glass or bulb or something shatter in the dorm nearby, but the only thing that stopped her laughter was Lattice's denial.
"Oh ho! But they will, laughing Lattice!" Freya's words were still punctuated by her own laughter, and even as she tried to get up and go over to her jewelry box, she was giggling like a child.
"Ach, my stomach! So much, so much. Let me sees, here!" She pulled out a large, very ornate, and quite possibly gaudy double looped gold necklace, which was dotted with big blood red rubies.
"This was present for me, from silly boil! He asked Papa if he could marry me, and Papa laughed in his face. But I still gots shiny necklace." She held it out to Lattice, and wiped her eyes. "Yeh likes?"

Lattice's giggles settled a few moments in though her own sides ached as well she stayed where she had collapsed on the floor though unable to hold her sides - they felt like they were in stitches. She blinked behind her mask as she listened to Freya talk about how someone wanted to marry her but the father had denied them - essentially. Her head tilted as she observed the shape of the necklace, "It is very lovely. I like the shapes in it."
Shyly now she reached up just so she could touch the necklace and observe it with her own hands. There were so many intriguing concepts that Freya was introducing her to. A part of Lattice wanted to try them out for herself and yet another still wanted to hold back.

"Ach, it was well and goods, I didn't even like the boil." She dumped the trinket into Lattice's hands, clearly not very attached to it - or she'd be treating it better. "He wasn't very nice. Not like-"
There was a pause, and Freya's hand drifted against something else that was in the jewelry box, before it closed with a snap. Then she turned, and gave Lattice her 1000 watt smile.
"Well. Not likes a nice boil. Maybe we meet one of those one day, ja?" She rolled her eyes and chuckled. "One day."

"Well if you didn't like him then that is that, right?" Lattice asked the whole idea of relationships and suitors baffled her. She quietly held onto the necklace and looked over things only looking up at Freya expectantly waiting to hear who the suitor was like but got no answer and for some reason - at this moment - she didn't feel it right to intrude on that secret just yet.
They were having fun and enjoying each other's company and Lattice didn't want to ruin it.
When the thought seemed finished Lattice wasn't certain if that is what it was about but she nodded, "Freya, there are many nice boils around here. I have met some."
At least they were nice to her.

Freya laughed hard and sharp, and turned to fuss with Lattice's skirt some more. "Lattice, if there is one pieces of advice I can gives yeh, it is this - boils are never what they seems. They will tells yeh whats yeh wants to hear, and makes yeh feel like nothing else matters but yeh, and then-" Her hand tugged hard on the skirt, almost ripping it. "They'll bed yehr sister and treat yeh like a cold piece of rottings meat. Sorry. I thinks we should takes the skirt off now."
She reached around the ghoul, and unzipped the skirt in that manner. Then she started pulling the skirt off, and waited for Lattice to step out of it.
All the while, her eyes had been on the skirt. Glaring at the color red as if her life depended on it.
"Nice boils don't exist."

Lattice blinked a bit at the advice and blinked even more at the sharp tug of the skirt, there was concern from the Engraver as well as a deep pain from Freya. Lattice quietly shifted and moved out of the skirt with no issue though she did reach out to touch Freya's cheek with the palm of her hand wanting to show that she supported her.
Despite that they had just met Lattice supported Freya always.
"Freya. It is okay. Though we'd only just met I love you," She said simply, bluntly. The advice about there being no nice boils for the moment overlooked in favor of trying to heal the Valkyrie's reopened wound.
It was the same love she held for her own Sister. It was the only love she abided in her life.

Freya finally looked up at Lattice, and her brilliant smile returned in force to her face.
"Well of course, and I loves you! Thats is why you and me, we're going to sticks together in the schools, okay? And thats is all that matters."
She would have patted Lattice's hand fondly, but.. well. Instead, she bent in and kissed Lattice's nose, before grinning. "I thinks yeh can put yehr dress on without my helps, ja? If not, I helps."
She was clearly avoiding the only subject that hurt her, and she was doing it like a champ.

"That's right," she murmured lightly and wrinkled her nose slightly with a small giggle. "We'll stick together, always." Lattice promised as she moved to recollect her removed clothing articles so she could pull them back on.
"Hmm~. I might need some help with my sash but otherwise I am alright." She started to put everything back on. She could put on her sash on her own but a little extra help never hurt. When it came time for Lattice to try and wrap the long blue sash about her she held out a part of it and moved to hold up an arm so that Freya wouldn't accidentally harm herself.
Why do things the hard way?
