I'll be thinking of more subspecies specific potion ideas as I find them/they make sense, just trying to find some good ideas for those who want to set up some neat lines smile <3

I have a question, since I can't quite figure out what it means in the fighting information post.
It says that if you roll a 10, your Mokai gets hit hard and can't fight for another week. From the wording, it sounds like the one who rolled it should have taken the hard hit, but because the higher number your roll, the better the attack, intuitively it seems like it would be the other way around.
Is it worded incorrectly or am I just over thinking this? I mainly ask because it just happened in the fight I am in. Also, because if it is the Mokai who rolled it who gets hurt, I feel like it may be better for it to happen when rolling a 1 (in legal) or a 1 or 2 (in illegal).
That being said, what ever the rule is now is how it should apply to the current fight, I'm certainly not trying to get it changed to try to get out of my Mokai getting hurt <3

@Zhaomi: When you're in a fight at the compound, its easiest to think of the rolling Rp game this way:
There are five set of two rolls where both you and Moon will roll a number. And, for the first set, Moon rolled a seven where you rolled a 10-- rolling a 10 means that your attack was powerful. Between Moon rolling a 7 and you rolling a 10, you've won the first out of five rolls.
I like to think of rolling a ten as a Mokai putting so much power and energy into their attack in the ring that they've won a rollbut they need to recover after the fight.
Duso, by all means, jump in on this if I'm misinterpreting it XD

Yep, I guess that makes sense. For me the lower number thing makes more sense to me because I play a lot of dice-based roleplays, in which the highest possible roll is generally significantly good and the lowest possible is a "critical fail", as it were.
It could work either way, I just wanted to check ^^ The way you are explaining it works to kind of balance out the advantage you get after rolling a 10, which may have been the intention.

Yeah. xD Mostly what Kijani said. It's the drawback to getting such a good roll/attack - either your Mokai can injure themselves by attacking too hard, or you can have it where they've been concentrating so hard on getting in a good blow that they're taken off-guard by the other party's next attack ... it's pretty much up to the person RPing. <3
I just ... didn't want there to be a ton of fights and no wounds ever received from any of them, which is why I just picked a number for 'wounding.'

Ah, got it, thanks ^^ So one last question, though I figure it doesn't, does rolling two 10's in the same fight have any greater consequence than rolling one? Cuz that kind of just happened xD
EDIT: It didn't come out in the roleplaying since I didn't know for sure at the time, but the day after the fight Imnir is going to have no ability to get out of bed and probably pulled something xD Or something to that effect, anyway.

Nope! You're good. xD It's just one week, no matter how many times you roll 10 in a single fight, lol. >> Poor guy.

Haha, he is going to get increasingly frustrated by the fact that Naomi won't let him fight until he is ALL the way better. Seven took some hard hits though *pets her*
In any case, thank you guys for clearing that up <3

Thought of this while getting ready for work this morning-- for the potion shop can there be an option for different types of noses? It seems most Mokai's already have a canine-like nose but maybe there could be an option for a feline nose, equine nose, otter nose? o:

Just a thought--- but could something be started where a fighter mokai is still able to get stat increases, even if they aren't in a fight? For instance, it would be a once a week kind of thing, only if your mokai is unable to battle (due to lack of viable competitors (eg. not injured, or not already had a battle).
What I think it would be like is a 'training' session. They wouldn't get as much experience points, but it will still be able for them to get something if they can't battle due to no opponents. (Of course, those injured would not be able to do this).
If anything, it could be something like a SRP - training style - 1000w, and you roll 1 10 sided dice. Based on the roll (say 10 will get you 4 exp points in whatever category, 8-9 would get you three, 4-7 will get you two and 1-3 will get you 1.)

Awesome. Could mokai that have no competitors be able to train as well? :] I noticed only injured mokai are able to. (For example, since Seven fought Erebus - that is the only legal battle (exp) they can have for the week, and the only other available domestic competitor is Imnir, who is injured, so he can't fight either). So Ai is kind of stuck in limbo at the moment. xD

Kas: Sure! That's also fine. xD
You'll hopefully have some more fighters to compete against in the next week or so, I have a few more sketches made.

Question regarding stats/tiers for fighters and pearl divers:
Can all of their stats reach 100%, or do they stop gaining experience when all of their stats added together equal 100%?
To reach the next tier (let's say tier 2, requiring 20% stats) does that mean they need at least 20% in each stat, or 20% total between all of them?
