Taking a deep breath Marissa nodded her head slightly as she followed behind Ryu. She kept close to him, but left enough space between them so that in case she had to fight or run she would be able to do so quickly. As the entered the village Marissa tensed as she saw all eyes turn towards them. Remaining silent Marissa followed Ryu, not sure where he would take her yet or if somehow this had been a trap.

 Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu looked back at his pack. He could tell that some of them had been worried, and others were wondering why there was a woman with him. "Some of you are wondering where i have been,m and you are all wondering who this is." He announced to them.. "This is Marissa, she saved me from a poachers trap. She is the newset member of our pack, she has earned her place among us, and she is a healer, her healing powers are better than what any of us posses, and she has agreed to help train our healers. You are to bring no harm to her at all, she is one of us now."

Marissa Katra Darling
Marissa paused not far behind Ryu as she stopped and spoke to his pack. Her body was tensed and ready to flee if needed though she masked her fear behind the face of calmness. She listened to all that Ryu said and inwardly winced when he mentioned that her powers were better then any in the pack. 'Why didn't he just toss me back to my own pack, for he is just going to make his own pack react the same way by how he is saying my skills are,' she thought to herself as she watched for reactions of those gathered around them. They had stopped in the center of the pack's territory with houses circling around the center and spreading outward. She was ready to run, feeling that someone would challenge Ryu's words, or challenge her.

Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu looked at his pack, none of them seemed to have any problem with it. One of the older ones approached him and told him it was about time he didnt something useful before he walked back into the crowd. Ryu let out a sigh, in comparison to his father, the previous alpha he hadnt done much. "Is there anyone who has any objection to this?" He looked around and there was nothing. "Good, all of you can go back to what you were doing." Ryu turned to face marissa. "My parents were not only the leaders but also the healers, i have no healing ability what so ever, compaired to my parents the older members see me as incompetent." ((OOC: ok))

Marissa tensed slightly as the older male stepped up to Ryu and spoke to him before walking away. She didn't seem to relax until everyone had walked off to go back to what they had been doing. Marissa looked to Ryu and nodded her head slightly, though she didn't fully understand why they would think that. "Just because you do not have that talent doesn't mean you don't have your own skills. I was the only healer in my family, and close to the only healer in my pack." Marissa still wasn't fully comfortable standing out in the open, talking to Ryu about her pack, but she wasn't going to ask to go somewhere where others couldn't over hear them. She knew that sooner or later others might want to know about her, and although she knew that if they learned why she was supposedly kicked from her pack, she knew that they needed to know about her. She just couldn't keep talking about what had happened without having another break down like she had had in front of Ryu.

Marissa looked to him and nodded her head slightly before following Ryu to his home. As they walked she spoke in a soft tone. "Just because you haven't done anything like what they have yet doesn't mean you won't in your time as the alpha. I'm sure in time you will do something that will get your pack to see you as the alpha and show you some better respect."

Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu smiled as he led her inside of his home. "I really hope you are right."Ryu walked over to his couch and sat down on it, his leg was still sore from being caught in a trap. "You can go and get some rest if you would like." ((OOC: )

Marissa followed him and then stopped once they entered Ryu's home and looked about. It was similar to the house her pack's alpha had had, but also quite different in how it had been constructed. She looked over to him and as she watched him sit down on the couch she moved over and knelt by his leg and rolled up the pants she had loaned him before looking over his leg. She took her bags and pallet off of her shoulders and opened up the bag that held most of her healing items. Looking through it she took out a salve and held the container out to him. "I know your leg is still bothering you so if you feel like it you can put some of this on it and it should help to reduce the pain and soreness from it. Though do not use too much of it because it can cause your leg to go numb if too much is applied." Standing and picking up her things Marissa looked about the house again before turning once more to Ryu. "Umm, where will I be sleeping? I don't want to take the chance of trying to find a room to sleep in not knowing which one is yours and which one isn't."

Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu nodded and began to apply some of the medicine to hie leg. "Down that hall, the room on the right is mine, the room on the left is empty."Ryu told her so she wouldnt get them mixed up. "Thank you for everything Marissa." ((OOC: )

Marissa glanced towards the hall as Ryu said that his room was on the right and what she was guessing was to be her room was on the left. She nodded her head slightly before she glanced back at Ryu. "Thank you Ryu, though I think you shouldn't thank me yet. I will stay and help teach those with any talent with healing, but I do not know if I will stay after that." Sighing Marissa closed her eyes before opening them and heading to the room that was on the left side of the hallway. She opened the door slowly and stepped inside and looked about before placing her bags and pallet to the side of the door. She closed the door behind her, leaving it open just slightly before moving to sit on the edge of the bed.

Marissa sighed slightly as she sat on the bed for a short time just trying to think about what she was going to have to do to help the healers in the tribe. She put together a list of things in her mind she would have to do and figure out as she got to know the healers before teaching them. Getting up Marissa walked back out into the living room where Ryu was still sitting on the couch. She moved to sit on a chair not far from the couch and looked to Ryu. "Ryu, will you help me gather up all those who have skills at healing tomorrow so that I can see what I will need to teach them?" She took a slow breath before looking to the ground, not sure how to say this and not fully comfortable asking it as well. "Ryu, could you stay with me when I start to teach all the healers, at least until I am comfortable with everyone?"

Marissa nodded her head slightly as she nibbled on her lower lip while looking to the floor in front of her. "Thank you Ryu, I will do what I can to help your healers to get better." For some reason she was very shy around Ryu, which was something that was different from how she normally was around others.
