Despite not being asked Polaris gave a soft shrug to the knight's thoughts. She believed she recalled Niflhel mentioning visiting his planet once, but they'd not really discussed details or anything. How they did it without cellphone she didn't know, but they surely COULD do it.
Where WOULD Cosmos knights go though? Hmm.. strange.
A large bowl was set aside and slowly she arranged the towel inside so that it would rest both under and be able to wrap over the bread to help retain the heat and freshness for longer. Of course she still had to wait for the bread to be done.
The soft smell of warm yeast wafted into the air as she opened the oven to peek in for a moment. It was slowly gaining a golden hue but not quite there yet.

Maia grabbed a few bowls to put the chopped vegetables in not wanting to mix them up as she did not know what would be going where. She smiled at Grus and her description of her world. She looked to Polaris and shook her head slightly with a soft smile.
"Your world sounds wonderful Polaris. Its amazing how unique all our world are, so unlike earth, but so similar in some ways," she said with a grin before looking to Pollux, "you should try to go away from the castle next time. You may be surprised right."
She put the peppers and okra for Pomona in two bowls and took them to her, "here you go," she said before moving back to the rest of the vegetables and continuing her chopping. Just the carrots were left, she was making quick work of the veggies, but washing and chopping was easy.
She put the carrots in the their own bowl and took half the chopped vegetables to Pomona then half to Pollux. She went over to Naica and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry to much about it. You will figure it out in time and you'll have lot of help if you need it." Maia smiled and moved over to Polaris.
"Need a hand," she asked with a smile.

Compared to the other girl's words she'd been.. a little critical of her star... so when words of compliment sounded she couldn't help but smile a bit. Perhaps she was being a little rough on her homeworld, maybe she just needed to invite some people to come once again. It probably wouldn't be disasterous as Niflhel's visit. Hopefully.
When Maia approached, she looked around mildly before giving a soft nod. "If you want to find a large enough knife you can help me slice the bread once we pull it out. I think we need atleast 20 pieces from each loaf to be enough for everyone."

"I-I guess..." He said, softly. Well, he was in space right now, wasn't he ?
Confusing.
Everything seemed about done, through, and it didn't look like there was anything else he could help with, so Naica gathered the now empty bags. "I should probably get going, Virgo might be looking for me." A shy, nervous smile. "Let me know if there's... anything else I can help with if you run into me again ?"
And so he was gone, and a part of him couldn't help but feel relieved. Not because the senshi had been an unwelcome presence, but because Daniel - and ence, Naica - never did do well with gatherings at all.

The soup was at a light bubble now, and the noodles were done. Setting the flame to low on the soup, Pollux used a plate to cover the pot as he drained the noodles. Poor man's colander. A light nod was given to Grus as she left, and Pollux made note to thank her later...and ask for help cleaning up after dinner.
Then again, he might just say that because they had cooked, the others had to clean. After all, fair was only fair and Pollux was sure a few senshi might be slacking, (his brother was at the forefront of this thought). Maia received a light shrug. "The gate is chained tight and covered in ice. There might be a way around but..." But he really didn't want to explore. After all his first time something had tried to kill him. He wasn't keen to what other nasties were out there. "I'm not hopeful. A world of ice is cold as ********. And frankly I really hate the cold." Irony was the spice of his life. "Plus something tried to kill me on first visit, so you'll have to forgive my...hesitance."
Veggies added to the soup along with the extra pasta and it was pretty much ready to go. "Naica..." Pollux looked at the knight. How was he supposed to be saving people again. "Forget it." It wasn't his place to chide him. He'd let some else do that. "The soup is ready, think we ought to start bringing people in to serve them soon?" The girls looked ready with the salad and almost done with the bread. Dishes were done and ready- It was also late, and no doubt people would be hungry.
((Ready to wrap up guys? I figure once bread is done we can call it good =u= ))

((This'll be my endpost unless someone directly speaks to Polaris heart ))
The soup was smelling particularly delicious, mingling with the comforting scent of warming yeast. It'd only took another minute or two for the bread to reach a color of golden brown that seemed to please the senshi of magnetism.
Carefully pulling the tray out and setting it on one of the counters, she motioned for Maia as she stepped aside to grab the bowls. "Careful, it's very hot."
The towels were drawn back to allow for each cut piece of bread to be spread between the two bowls, and when all was done Polaris carefully tucked the bread beneath the fabric.
Pollux seemed ready with his soup, and the salad appeared ready, so when her and Maia were done with the bread she nodded to the cooking ringleader. "Sounds like a plan to me. We're ready when you are."

Maia nodded and quickly, but carefully grabbed a knife so she could help Polaris cut the bed. She grinned and happily went about cutting the hot bread and then watching the bread be separated and wrapped up.
She felt really accomplished and resolved to ask Aurora for some cooking lessons at some point. She grinned looking around to see everything was pretty much ready and at Pollux's question and Polaris' agreement she nodded. "Ditto that. I bet everyone is very hungry, many of the civilians are working hard to help straighten the place up."

With the food ready and countless civilians hungry for a meal, the plates, bowls, forks, spoons, cups, everything was laid out and set. So far, the senshi had gotten ready for the onslaught of people. Supplies had been brought, and skills had been put to use. The senshi had won the day as far as cooking went.
To bad it was just the first of many more to come.
