Natalia gave a half-amused, lopsided, tight-lipped, smile at the 'fluke' joke. Sure, she didn't want to go home first, but she did want to get home eventually! She was beginning to get a little nervous. Or maybe she was right about the trio of powered beings here being incompetent. Either way, she fidgeted a little. Uhhhhhhh...
Then Neso began off in another direction, motioning for them to follow to...wherever he was going. She followed along if only because she was afraid staying in one place would invite more monsters like the whale, aaaand she was a little curious. And she didn't want to be alone. But she wouldn't admit that
And so, she followed.
"You know, I kinda hope there's food where ever we're going...."
Dinner seemed so long ago...

Well, now. Jett was suddenly very happy that he hadn’t volunteered or else he’d be pretty pissed right about now. He had gotten his hopes up a bit that they’d be getting back, but that he’d already imagined he was going to be here a bit longer was at least a bit less hard on him.
He stared after Neso, stunned by the male’s energy. He glanced at the rest of the civilians—none of which seemed to really be in condition enough to jog off after the male. Right now, he questioned whether or not it was even a good idea to go with the half dressed man; he seemed far too absent minded to be trustworthy, and in his head, Jett had classified him as something of a dork. And. Wouldn’t you know, that’s a part of a whale, too.
Jett tilted his head and watched the male, wondering if he expected the civilians to follow them or if he wanted them to just stay there. He had a blank expression on his face and then shook his head, tearing his eyes away from Neso to look back at Aya. A bit of relief washed through him that she was getting attention and was about to be treated, but Roxy had voiced the question he was internalizing, but it seemed that Natalia had already set her mind to following after him and—right now—it almost seemed like a better idea to stick with a senshi—odd as they seemed to be; at least they knew the terrain.

Roxy gave Aya a rather pointed look as she took the cloth. Her bedazzler was placed under the crook of her arm to free both her hands, "Thought I'd ask," jeez she thought while wrapping the strip tightly as many times as she could before having to tie it off. Well, she could have run off with the cloth she was now knotting but now that she was stuck with this woman, it was better not to piss anyone off for the diration of their stay. Grudges would not be good when you needed other people for survival.
"Hopefully," she had to agree when she was done, "or they're going to have a lot of dead people from serious infections and stupid festering wounds," if not. These people were idiots. Well, they already were. Especially if they were the kidnappers themselves like Wallace thought.
Roxy gave Aya a small smile while she turned and began to hobble to the blue haired boy. It was annoying how a small wound could hurt but she managed to get to him and offered Wallace a hand up. "Come on, Blue... we should probably follow...." Maybe they'd find the others at the castle.

Wallace watched Roxy try to bribe the kidnapper. He stayed behind her, listening to the conversation. He was briefly horrified when the kidnapper looked like he was taking Roxy away- while they weren't exactly friends, she was the only person he knew here- and relieved when she stayed put. And horrified anew when he saw that if even the kidnappers didn't know how to get them out, nobody would.
It was difficult for him to get moving again after that. In all likelihood, he would have stayed there, a statue on the rainbow road, unless Roxy had offered him a hand. "Yellow," he said, his voice unsteady, "what are we supposed to do now? I... I don't know what to do."
But he did manage to take her hand and slowly shuffle down the path, hoping an idea would come to him.

Layton really did bring out all the big sister instincts out of Marley. She really didn't know what to do for her injury but she wanted to help her in some way. It made her smile when the girl stood up, even though she was clearly in pain, and stated that she'd stay to look for her brother. Marley gently put her arm around Layton to comfort her. "I can't do anything for your injury now but it looks like we'll be able to go somewhere with help. Don't worry, we'll find your brother. I'm sure my younger siblings are wondering where I am too." She wondered how her siblings were doing at home without her to protect them. The thought alone sent waves of worry through her and she had to close her eyes as a wave of dizziness went through her. She was getting sick with the worry. Marley had to stay in the here and now because she needed to get out of this situation to get home. She smiled down at Layton, "Here, let me help you. We'll walk together and get you some medical attention for your arm." Her eyes strayed to Sailor Neso who was leading them and she hoped that he really would lead them to safety.

Jett was standing around, essentially doing nothing but weighing his options. Travel after Neso, alone, or stay here with the strangers while they tried to sort their options. Or maybe he could convince Darwin to keep him company.
…Not that Jett needed company. Damn it. Maybe he did.
He didn’t want to be the one who initiated conversation, but at the same time—who gave a s**t, really? Nobody knew what the hell was going on, and Darwin didn’t look like he was doing so good, anyway. And, maybe he’d seen where Raven had gone?
Putting pride aside for a bit, and ignoring the fact that he and Darwin were more reluctant acquaintances than friends, he held off following after Neso to make his way to the male’s side. He moved to stand near to him, gentle with his arm and conscious about keeping a bit of distance between the two, and said, “You know, I’m pretty impressed you’re still in one piece. I mean, your hand looks like s**t and all but,” he shrugged, eying the hand and internally grimacing at the condition. “…Look, the point is, A, can you walk, and, B, did you see what happened to Raven?”
For all he knew, the whale had eaten her—in which case, there was no point in looking for her since he assumed she’d be a goner.

So the not-alien couldn’t take them home. It was almost comforting that he seemed thrown by this; almost, but not quite. It the not-alien couldn’t get them home, did that mean they were stuck in space?
Darwin staggered to his feet when Jett approached, lightly cradling his hand to avoid jostling it.
“ I’m not staying here; I can walk.” Staying put just didn’t seem like a good idea. “ Raven… She was okay last I saw. Purple, but okay. Don’t know what happened to her in the blast.”
Now that Darwin was getting back in the now, he was worried about Raven and Mary. He hope they were okay and hadn’t been turned into fish food.

Jett nodded, glancing back at where Neso had gone off to. The path seemed to go on, and if Neso had been heading in that direction, why shouldn’t they? “…She was right next to me, you’d think we’d have ended up in the same spot.”
No matter, though; it was what it was, and Jett was getting to the point where he was going to try his hardest not to let anything phase him from this point on. “…The point is, she’s not here and I’m going to go look for her. Better than just staying here,” he said, agreeing with Darwin’s earlier point. “Which direction are you heading?” he asked idly; it seemed logical to just go after Neso, but Jett couldn’t bring himself to just casually invite someone along with him. “…Actually, you know. Don’t bother answering. I’m going in whichever direction you’re going,” he decided. “…I assume you’re desperate to find your girlfriend, and since she’s who I’m looking for, it doesn’t make sense to split up. It’s not like either of us knows a damn thing about what’s going on. And you,” he nodded to Darwin’s hand, “Need some sort of medical attention that you can’t get here. So if I’m not there and you die on the way for help, I can’t pay you back for saving my a**.”

Wha- Oh yeah, Raven was supposed to be his girlfriend. Since Darwin did want to try to find Raven, and Mary as well, he didn’t attempt to correct Jett. Heck, with everything as weird as it was, maybe he was Raven’s boyfriend. Who knew? Darwin sure didn’t.
“ I guess following the not-alien is our best bet at finding the others. Hopefully there’s stuff for splints wherever we end up.” Darwin didn’t hold out hope for someone that could splint his finger for him, but he figured he could do it himself; how hard could it be?
“ I don’t think you can die from a broken finger… can you?” This lead to useless, gloomy thoughts, so Darwin shook his head to clear them. “ I guess I’m being a wuss, but I’ve only ever had a broken nose before. Guess it’s better then being digested though.”

Jett cast a side-long glance at Darwin and seemed a bit amused. “Definitely better than being digested. A broken finger won’t kill you. Probably.” Jett had been picking fights since early child hood, and while he wouldn’t be the first to admit it, on more than one occasion he’d bitten off more than he could chew and had his a** handed to him on a silver platter. The only bones he’d ever broken were fingers, and while they’d been a b***h at the time, they’d all healed well enough—and never looked as bad as Darwin’s did.
“…I’m sure we’ll find the others soon enough and someone will be able to take care of that finger for you. Though, I’m curious. You seem like the kind of guy who…doesn’t get out much. How’d you manage to break your nose?” he prompted; he cast one last look at the group he’d landed here with and decided that he wasn’t going to wait for them or invite them along; if they wanted to walk, he wouldn’t turn them away, but neither was he going to stand around lollygagging. He didn’t know how long a walk it was going to be, or if they were even going to find anyone else; it made sense to just get a move on, so he kept his eyes on Darwin as he waited for an answer while taking his first step down the path Neso had taken.

Darwin shrugged and followed after Jett. “ Apparently I’m easy to mistake for a soccer goal.”
It hadn’t entirely been a mistake. In middle school, a group of bullies had thought it would be funny to kick a ball at Darwin. Their aim wasn’t that great though, and they hadn’t counted on Darwin turning at the last minute, so Darwin ended up catching the ball with his face.
“ I don’t think they meant for it to hit my face. That’s what I like to think anyway.”
It was all part of the hazards of being a nerd.
“ You don’t seem the sort to have faced such problems.” A statement, not a question. If Jett had been a target of repeat bullying, Darwin would eat fish. That and ask Jett for tips.

With Darwin walking next to him, Jett just kept his eyes on the road before him, mentally trying to asses how far they could walk. “Me? No. Nobody was stupid enough to try and hit me. It’s in how you hold yourself.” He could assume from the story that it was a deliberate ‘mistake’, and rather enjoying having something to talk about other than giant bats or space whales, he continued. “The thing about bullies,” Jett drawled, “Is that they’re only a problem if you let them make a target out of you. Maybe once or twice some kid tried to pick on me. Maybe. But I remember being the bully far more than I remember being bullied.”
He offered an indifferent shrug, but regretted it after he brought upon himself a fresh wave of pain. He grimaced and said, “Is bullying some sort of problem you still have? How old are you, anyway? You can’t be that young.”
