Buzz had been to busy cleaning himself to hear Rainbow approach, so when he heard the males deep voice, he quickly turned and greeted him. "Hi Rainbow!" Pastel had been facing in Rainbow's direction, so she wasn't startled at all when he approached and greeted them. "Yes, I am called Pastel, and Buzz told me all about you last night. So I decided to come meet you myself today." He really was large thought Pastel. She couldn't really remember ever having seen an adult male before, what with her being abandoned at such a young age. To think that one day Buzz would be as big as Rainbow was quite intimidating. He was already a nuisance in her estimation, and he wasn't much bigger than she was. She also noticed that Rainbow had no wings, unlike Buzz and herself. She had thought all of their kind had wings, but now she was unsure. She didn't want to embarrass him by asking though. Perhaps Buzz had already done so, and she could just ask him later.

"So, what shall we do today?" asked Buzz, as he lifted his hind leg and scratched at his neck. He was still trying to get used to the collar the human woman had put on him the day before. Pastel didn't seem to mind hers at all, which bothered Buzz for some unknown reason. He stopped scratching and got up, stretched and walked over to Rainbow, waiting for the big male to make a suggestion.
