The girl groaned out "What kinda guy doesn't keep tools 'round when they have somethin' like this that could potentially need fixin'?" With a huge shake of the head, she then leaned down and picked up the screwdriver. Evidence be damned. She turned and used the object like it was an extension of her own finger to point at the boy.
"I can see what I can do with jus' this, but ya totally need to harass Shawn or somethin' t'see if he'd have anythin' I could use t'take care'a this crap!"
There was a pause, then a grin that spread across her face. "Maybe I can touch it up so it looks cooler."

Sheldon's eyebrow quirked as he gave the blonde an odd look, he honestly didn't see logic in her question, "why would I when there are places that can fix it for me?" It wasn't like he knew the mechanics of a bike, he had a few tools sure but those were for fixing little things in his apartment. Like his bookshelves or his xbox ... things he could actually manage.
"I doubt Shawn has anything either," the green haired boy yawned as he ran a hand through his tousled hair. He pulled his hand back in front of him suddenly, flexing his fingers a little as his attention turned to it. It was sticky, like... sugar sticky... the hell.
Taking this as a hint to perhaps go into his place of residence, Sheldon turned back to Ellie with a bored expression, "well, do whatever I guess," even though it really pained him to say it, "I'm going up... holler if you need anything..." Maybe he'd respond to her calls, who knew really. With a shrug, Sheldon turned towards the door to the complex and prepared for his exit on the scene.

Ellie? Holler? There was a super fat chance of that. "Do whatever ya want I guess..." Obviously Sheldon wasn't going to be getting her any tools, but the fact he was leaving her made it all okay in her mind.
He wouldn't be around to see that it was her set of tools just hanging around. After he fled the scene, the girl set to work. All she had really done was remove some of the paneling. Nothing too drastic. However, to both Shawn and Sheldon's untrained eyes, it might have looked like a disaster. It took her about fifteen minutes to put everything together, another 2-3 minutes to put her tools away in her backpack, and then she ran back up Hobbes' apartment. She didn't knock or even really try Hobbes' apartment. She could hear the water of a shower running. Instead, she knocked on Shawn's apartment door and just left a simple message that the lame vehicle out front was all back together again.
Wanting to keep things brief, she ran off as soon as the conversation allowed it. She didn't need to say goodbye to Sheldon Hobbes. It would almost make it seem like she was his girlfriend or something like that.
