American hip-hop artist Ludacris has praised the musical quality of YG Entertainment in his latest interview!
"The K-Pop wave is going global, and although it's the handsome and beautiful looks of the stars as well as their impressive performance style that's a part of it, it's first and foremost the music. I think in that aspect, YG's hip-hop music is the best. The crossover that YG is attempting shows that they have the competitive power to advance onto the world stage. If the opportunity arises, I want to produce music with them," Ludacris revealed.
For those unfamiliar, Ludacris debuted back in 1999 with his single album, "Incognegro." He's a millionaire record seller who's had every album release since 2003 top Billboard's hip-hop chart. This time, he's set his sights on the growing K-Pop wave, particularly commenting on the exceptional quality of YG Entertainment.
Ludacris will be making his way to Korea for the very first time on September 19 for his high-end headphones line, "SOUL by Ludacris

Big Bang's G-Dragon is making a solo comeback. G-Dragon's new mini album is set to come out this October, and he will start his solo activities around the same time. It will have been one year and seven months since he released his first solo album "Shine a Light" in March 2009.
A YG Entertainment official said, "Right now, we're working on making the songs that will go into his album, which is why we still don't have a title song. After we finish making the songs we'll decide on an album concept." Currently, G-Dragon is working on choosing a title song for his new album.
Upon hearing that G-Dragon is making his comeback in October, singers who were set to release their albums during the same time have decided to change their dates. The reason? G-Dragon's previous songs from his first solo album, such as "Heart Breaker," "A Boy," and "This Love" made it to several music charts, providing a large chance of success for his new album.
Another official from YG Entertainment stated, "Kara, SNSD and Brown Eyed Girls are set to make comebacks starting September. Then in October, we have G-Dragon releasing his new album. This is going to give new idol groups a hard time."
G-Dragon's fellow Big Bang member Dae Sung was recently acquitted of murder charges in a car accident involving a motorcycle. However, Dae Sung is currently not set for any activities until the end of 2011, so the other Big Bang members are going to carry on activities without him.
The hype for G-Dragon's comeback continues to build. What do you think his new album will be like?

Ok Joo Hyun, one of the Fin.K.L members and who participated in the show, "I Am a Singer", appeared on the show “Healing Camp.”
On the show, Ok Joo Hyun told her story on the Yoga business that had failed. She tasted the bitterness of business failure at a young age of 25. The debt that has overwhelmed her due to the failure has got her borrowing money even from Fin.K.L members. She had suicidal thoughts, she said. “I wondered ‘wouldn’t it be better if I was dead?’ and thought that it was the end of Ok Joo Hyun. After the failure, I couldn’t interact with other people well either. I was always by myself and lived in the darkness of feeling as though I was completely cut off from the society.”
Although she did go through such hardships, she learned to not be as affected by the anti-fans she has. She added, “After such an experience, I became stronger. The typical hatred of others doesn’t affect me too much anymore.”

2NE1’s CL has been at the center controversy lately for the outfit she wore on her way to Japan last week. On Sept. 2, the leader of 2NE1 wore a t-shirt clad in suggestive expressions such as, “F*ck Everything,” “Girl Friend from Hell,” and “Cut Here—Take My Tits.” Photos of CL's shirt quickly caught fire as translations of the phrases were immediately posted online. Also, the photos spread fast because it was a pretty publicized event for the girls were headed to Japan for their first Japanese album promotions. Fans started disputing whether her fashion was inappropriate at such public space, especially considering she’s one of the most popular idol group members (and role models) in the industry. Netizens against CL’s outfit have argued, “The shirt’s very inappropriate for an idol singer to wear because she has so much influence on teens,” and “It was totally imprudent of CL, who’s fluent in English, to wear that type of shirt, since there’s no way she wouldn’t have known what the shirt was saying.” However, her proponents have commented, “It’s just her fashion,” “You can’t fault her for the outfits she wore in non-official appearances,” and “The shirt is a famous designer outfit, so just let her be herself.” In fact, it was later discovered the shirt’s design was indeed inspired by British designers, Tim Noble & Sue Webster, as seen on their website. What do you think of CL’s outfit? Was it inappropriate, or should we just call it freedom of expression?

Goo Hye Sun is receiving attention for having cosplayed as Sailor Moon in the middle of the street. The actress, known for playing Geum Jandi in "Boys Over Flowers," is starring in the currently airing "The Musical."
In "The Musical," Goo plays Ko Eunbi, who is a musical actress hopeful. In the first episode, she goes to random lessons under the chorus actress Sa Bokja (played by Park Kyung Lim), in an effort to enhance her skills.
