Joi looked at her dad with the weirdest, most confused look. Daddy fed the baby to mommy? She didn't get a chance to speak before she seen another tall guy run into the room. "I fixed Rain's owies." she told the stranger, eying him. He'd better not be here to take her new brother away ...
Dizzy sighed. "Thom!? I'm so glad Vale found you! I'm so sorry about Joi bringing Rain back here." she hoped he wasn't mad.

Vale nodded his head. "She seems to have picked up a bad habit of mine... I tend to bring children home if they're unattended and they claim to not have parent's around..." He avoided the word... STRAY, as that would have been very rude to say...

Rain pouted, he wanted to stay with his new sister "Rain Joi's brother"
Thom frowned "It's ok Dizzy and Vale" he looks at his son "What about Jet?"
Rain shakes his head "Jet and mummy not like me"
Thom sighs "That's not true...."

"Thom, I'm sorry if Joi's fed Rain's imagination with that. She's a lot like her father, but also, eager to not have a baby brother or sister and will do anything to 'trade'." Dizzy chuckled weakly and reached down to start peeilng bandaides. She winced, figuring she'd just take a shower to removed them.
Joi ran to Rain and clung to him. "Rain is my new brother. You still be his daddy, but Rain lives here now." she told Thom.

Vale rubbed his templed. "Joi-joi, that's NOT how it works..." Anger was staring to rise in his voice... He was getting FULL of this baby trading business, and he was getting rather ticked...
Something he didn't USUALLY do...
But this was an exentuating circumstance, and he was sure the anger he was feeling was probably something that would scare Joi...
He did not care though, he was just about ready to toss her butt in her room again and call it sqaure...

Joi held onto Rain. It wasn't the baby trading thing completely. She like Rain and he made a good brother. And he STILL needed to teach her how to make rainbows with her bananas and pudding.
Dizzy sat up a bit. "Joi-baby, come here. Rain's Daddy needs to talk to him."

"Yes, yes... Rain's daddy needs to talk to him, so let's all give them some time alone... Come, lets all go into the kitchen... I'll make everyone some tea... or something..." He motioned for everyone to follow him out.

"Rain... please son, this is Joi's home, with her mummy and daddy, and soon a sibbling, your place is at home with me" Thom said quietly
Rain pouts more, he doesn't want to go

Joi pouted in the kitchen and tried eaves dropping on what Rain and his daddy were talking about. She turned to her own dad. "Daddy, Rain's mommy no like him and his brother don't either. I like Rain and will be his sister." She had tears in her big eyes. It was obvious she cared about Rain and was concerned about what he'd told her about his mom and brother.
"Joi baby, Rain's mommy loves him very much. Its not our business why Rain thinks his mommy doesn't like him." she sighed. She wondered if Jazz had any idea Rain felt this way. She knew her friend to be kind and loving, not ... the mean lady Rain paints of her.

Vale sighed and scooped her up, holding her close. "Joi-joi... I'm very, very sure that Rain's mommy loves him very much... I know Jazz, she's not the kind to not love her babies..." He sighed and brushed her hair. He'd actually not visited Jazz or the bar in a long while... So he actually really needed to see what was going on, he needed a better, more inside view from both sides of the board...
He had a VERY, very bad feeling about this whole affair.

Talk was quiet in teh living room as Darius and Ala sat with the group in the kitchen

Dizzy sat close to Ala, sipping her tea. "I wonder what happened to cause such a terrible rift in the family." she sighed softly. "Maybe they do need some time to get things sorted ... away from influences." she nodded her head towards her pouting daughter in Vale's arms.
