Zaurak Since about two or three months before HPB came out. I've always loved Harry Potter, and with all the publicity about book 6, I decided to start dabbling in the fandom. One thing led to another and I found myself reading a Sirius/Remus fic. That day, a rabid HP slasher was born.
Anyway, I became addicted to Sirius/Remus and then I tried Harry/Draco a few weeks later and got equally hooked...! whee
I really don't remember when or how I began to like Seamus/Ron, though....

About the second book was when I started thinking about it. I got hooked when I read a story about Draco's deciding who he would take to a ball. It was a few years ago, so ...

It's been years for me.. I was a slash addict before the HP books, and I read them and was like: Wow! Eleven year olds are gross but imagine if they were older!

Let's see now... I started reading slash back when I was 13 years old; then I started out with LOTR (Legolas/Aragorn). I got into Harry Potter briefly before "The Two Towers" had premiere... Yeah, that's about 3-4 years... I fell for Harry/Draco, though have evolved since then... am quite fond of Severus/James and Lucius/Harry...

Let me see. When I read the fourth book (the week it came out) was when I really became obsessed with the HP fandom. Which means yaoi, het is icky.
That was about...7th grade? Maybe 8th. So five-ish years?

I had to read the first book back in 6th grade, when it first came out. At that time I didn't like Harry Potter at all. The book bored me out of my mind. I didn't read the second one, but watched the movie because of my younger cousins and fell in love. I then found my way in the slash.
Ever since the second movie came out I have been on the continuous search for more Harry Potter Slash. So.. that would be.. about 5 years or so. 3nodding

I was into HP slash when the 2 book was released. Not sure why though..... maybe it was considering that I had been interested in the Japanese side of it for a few years before that that made it earlier for me. God, I don't even remember when the second book came out. sweatdrop Yeah, so a while.
