Zoe Dylan..........................Third year

OMG you watch it too?! Zoe jumped in excitement. Not many wizards do. I love that show. She went on totally forgetting that they were in a classroom. So you are half French, eh?It's must be nice to have two ethnics as parents. Then she looked at him closely tossing something in her mind. Have you ever seen a real dragon? I have only read. I'd love to see one.

Drago actually laughed. "Yeah, it's one of my favorite shows, right up there with Supernatural." Then she said 'having two' and through his mind it kept changing it to 'had' and his mood went down. "Well, no. My dad died before he could tell me anything about the french part of my family. I don't even know how to speak french." Then when she asked about seeing a live dragon, he sighed in disappointment. "I haven't seen a live one yet. I've got tones of books about them ever since I found out about this." He gestured to everything around him when he said this. "But I dream of traveling after I'm finished with school. Finding Charlie Weasley and asking him to teach me how to become a Dragon Keeper. All the research I've found over the summer say that he's in Russia. Some of the dragons have gotten sick and they don't know what it is. It might be something that's gotten into their food supply. I can't wait to see a real one." He brought his voice to a whisper. "There's a rumor going around saying that Hagrid, the old gamekeeper, used to own a dragon. And people say that it was a Norwegian Ridgeback. To bad they're illegal, because I would love to own one. The smallest one is..." Then Drago realized that he was rambling too much and grew quiet. "Sorry. I get carried away when it comes to dragons." He said after awhile.User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.User Image

My name is: Reyah Kayden Gainsborough
4th year, Hufflepuff

Kayden listened with interest as Caiden talked about his family. He don't really interact with people from the states much. Yes, he had been there on few occasions when he accompanied his parents to acquire new sweets, he never had much chance to explore the area. He even felt a little ignorant about magic schools overseas and the difference in culture. Especially quidditch, which is such a huge sporting event in magic world; he'd thought that it was natural to assume that it's the same anywhere.

His smile dropped a little when he heard about the fellow classmate's sister. "Erm, sorry about that," he started, almost a whisper as he scratched his head, a gesture when he wasn't quite sure what to do. But Caiden sounded fairly alright when he was speaking, so he reckoned, he'd just continue.

"My sister's name is Evelyn," the blue haired said, the smile returned as he thought of her. "She's in Ravenclaw by the way, just a year younger than me. Other than them, I don't really keep close contact with my extended family, whom I only get to meet once a year due to our busy schedules, since they have to manage the various branches in different countries."

"That's partially why I like traveling as well; I've been to quite a few places with my family to visit these relatives, though I haven't been able to actually explore much of each place yet. Don't laugh, but I'm also into baking. I love the smell of sweets and muffins and cookies, which is good I guess, since I do come from a family that earns a living through selling these," Kayden continued happily. He always got a little excited when he's talking about his hobbies. "Other than that', I'm just into the usual stuff I guess. Some sports like swimming and dancing and taking care of animals, which I'd like to think I'm good at."

He paused momentarily, realising that he had rambled on quite a bit. "So, what about you? Any favourite sport or hobbies?"

[[ I just realised I don't have your answer for question 2. o.o And is your previous ooc directed at me?]]

"Plotting world domination can't always occur on a fixed schedule, you know."

SIXTH YEAR SLYTHERIN

Selecting a fresh sheet of paper, Lex scribbled Adrianne Blackwood, Dri across the top. After a moment's consideration, he drew a line neatly through Adrianne Blackwood. The name didn't sound familiar, and this bothered him. One would think he would have at least heard of most of the students in his own House. If it turned out he was missing whole groups of people, he was going to have to get out more.

"It's been sixteen years," he replied. "Though near enough to seventeen now that you might as well not even bother writing it down. Born on the tenth of November. In London." He eyed the list of questions once again - were they really going to go through with this? He doubted he would be able to take it seriously once they hit the "interests" section.

Screw it.

"It was a dark and stormy night, but even the blackest of rain could not dim the joy in the hearts of the Martin family, for finally, after decades of monotony, someone had been born into their line who might actually accomplish something." Okay, perhaps his ancestors hadn't been all that dull. The tremendous collection of questionably legal items back home was evidence against it. But none of them had seemed to possess much lofty ambition - or, if one did, he had certainly failed miserably in his goals. Unless his goal was to become the least well known Important Historical Figure of all time.

And that was no fun at all.

"How about you? Any strange oddities about your birthplace? Prophecies screamed in panic the moment you first drew breath?" He quirked an eyebrow to emphasize the joke, still wondering why he couldn't place her. Perhaps she was a transfer. Or perhaps he wasn't quite as perceptive as he should be.

Adrianne wrote everything down as he said it. Laughing at the description of his birth. "I'm sixteen as well, although I have a while to go before I reach seventeen, my birthday is the thirtieth of May."she said, looking down at the desk and her parchment thinking of how to respond to the rest of his question without actually telling much about herself. She hated opening up to people.
"I was born in the southern part of North America. Alabama to be more exact. I transferred here this year when my dad got his job in International Affairs at the Ministry. I'm an only child. I don't suppose there is anything wonderful about my family. My mom stays home, while my father is gone all the time. I love coming here just to get the hell away.", she finally said absent mindedly chewing on the end of her quill. "So anything absolutely amazing about your life? What you enjoy?", she asked looking back at him.

Ah, so Dri was a transfer, then. That made things much more clear. Lex continued jotting down information as she offered it, though he had drifted into an abbreviated shorthand. His heart had never been in the assignment. And he was going to have to rewrite it prettier anyway.

What did he enjoy? Now there was a touchy question, though taken at face value it seemed purely innocent. Confining it to simple preferences should be safe enough.
"I like peppermint toads. The color of the sky directly before sunrise. Making an interesting acquaintance, such as yourself." His eyes narrowed slightly. "Conversely, I am not particularly fond of acid pops or the dull, dead cold of winter. Both figure at about the same level as pointless questions, as far as I'm concerned."

"You, of course, have things you'd like to blast from the universe as well?"

Adrianne wrote down his response and layed the quill on the table thinking about his question. Sure there were plenty of things she would like to 'blast from the universe' as he had put it. However, if she listed them all, they would be in the class all night and she had absolutely no desire for that. Guess I'll have to sum it up then.
I, like you, absolutely abhor the cold. I hate the ache it gives me. I also despise purposely ignorant people that know what they are doing or saying and just don't care, absolutely makes me want to hex them in to oblivion. I also hate people who think the sun shines out of their rears. No one died and made them God. I hate pointless assignments, and even more than that I hate to talk about myself." she finished, glaring at the table.
"There are however just as many things that I like. I love the night. The beauty and the mystery of it intrigue me. I love to read, and get lost in a story. I like long intellectual conversations with intelligent people who aren't absolute morons.", she said smiling at him.
"So I guess that leads us to role models. Who is the one person who inspires you to live your life?", she asked picking her quill back up.

Zoe Dylan..........................Third year

Ah' Its OK. Zoe said grinning. She actually enjoyed the conversation. If you like them so much you should take care of magical creatures from the third year. She leaned forward and pat is hand in a friendly manner. Sorry about your father. I did not know.

"My birthday is April 4th, so I'm an Aries - I'm very much into astrology by the way" Helen smiled at the girl, and was intrigued by her strange middle name, that was also added at a later stage. "I'm from Ireland, and have 1 brother and one sister, as well as my parents living with me. My wand actually used to belong to my father, but he gifted it to me when I started school."

Drago Alta - 2nd year Gryffindor
Drago looked a little confused when she said taking third year care of magical creatures if he liked dragons. "Do they actually bring a dragon for the third years to see?" He was already going to take that class every year, but now he was going to make sure not to miss any of the classes, even if he was sick. When she patted his hand, he almost pulled it away. He didn't like when people treated him like a small fragile person. "It's fine. I don't let it bother me anymore." He wanted to change the subject from his dad to something better to talk about. After a few minutes, something came to mind. "What kind of books do you read?"User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.User Image

"Hi everyone," Andrew said coming into the classroom. "I'm Andrew Hark, a Ravenclaw first year." He continued, reading the board. "So, We've gotta pair up with someone and interview 'em. Sounds fun! Anyone wanna be my partner?" He asked to the class.

Fionna smiled and wrote down Helen's birthday. Fionna looked up slightly surprised when she said that she was from Ireland and she said, "I'm from Ireland as well." Fionna smiled at this but then paused when she got to the family part. She had once had a much larger family, but now it was few. "I have my mother, and three older brothers tramping around my house." She said finally. If Helen asked she would elaborate, but wasn't willing to give that information on her own.

She looked at the next question as well and continued with, "My interests would be quidditch, piano, sketching, and reading." That was the gist of it. She enjoyed other stuff but those were the main ones. She nodded to herself believing she had covered most of her interests. "What do you like to do?" She added with her quill ready to write it down.

"That's awesome - whereabouts are you from? I'm from Meath. And as for interests, I love cooking and potions and also looking after people and animals alike - I like to care." Helen's face reddened a bit at this - she felt a little silly sometimes when she told people about this. "Also, I forgot to mention my kitty, Val - she lives here with me at Hogwarts. What kind of sketching do you like doing? And as for dislikes, I dislike aggression and fighting completely, I don't like selfishness either, and I REALLY hate marzipan. Yes - marzipan. It's icky." Helen's face contorted like she'd eaten a lemon at the idea of it.

Zoe Dylan..........................Third year

Zoe raised a brow as Drago hastily pulled his hand away. Then she shrugged. Well, care of magical creatures classes start from the third year ((as per the HP books.)) And they don't get dragons to school. no! You'll only be seeing less dangerous creatures like Unicorns. She looked up as Andrew walked in to the class room. It was the boy who broke his ankle near the pumpkin patch. Zoe grinned remembering him hitting the ground flat on his face. It was xd I read fictions. I like manga too. She said turning back to Drago.
