Since being into lolita, i think in general I enjoy dressing girly. 4laugh I like looking in magazines like Teen Vogue and looking at some of the stuff that's not even lolita, but just cute, fun and awesome. biggrin I'm in love with those bright colors that are out right now. I seem to never really show that when I buy clothes though. sweatdrop So because of lolita, I feel I've gained a sense of colors in my wardrobe. heart

I'm far from classifying myself as a loli. I am at heart my friend says. When we all go out we dress loli but on an average day my outfits and hair aren't hard to miss anyway You can either hear or see the colors coming long before I get to you

Yes. I would indeed consider myself a true Lolita. I have many outfits I have made. And I own clothes from Baby, Meta, Angelic Pretty and so on. I dress up on the weekends, but during the week I don't dress in "casual lolita" simply because I do not believe in taking such a beautiful style and dimming it down. Ick. Sorry I said that, it sure seems like we have a lot of "casu-loli's" here... pukupuku It's strange that noone likes to wear loli in the winter - I certainly do! o.o --- Sadly I must admit to being a sort of casual loli .. ;.; - skirts and shirts when they're clean - stockings and maryjanes too - I don't have any full loli dresses yet.... but! I do plan on saving up and buying this "hardcore" number o.o : ^^;;;; it'll take me a while though ;-; ... And I also plan on sewing some outfits for myslef when I start my clothing line xP That dress is an excellent choice to save up for. That was my first real peice of Lolita clothing, only in pink...

I dress in sweet lolita and black lolita, depends on my mood. Never casual lolita, either I go full out, or not at all. I dress up when my mom is out of town, which is a rare joy. She doesn't approve of the style, even though it isn't offensive in anyway.
I'm obsessed with lolita. To the point that my mom sent me to therapy. That just made me love it more. I've like the style for at least 3 years. I discovered the style when I moved, and it was love at first sight. I make much of my clothing, but I have bought two dresses that were custom made. They are my pride and joy.
Anyone who defiles the name lolita makes my blood boil.
I don't like Hot topic ever since they started selling their so called lolita clothes. Lolita is about quality, not quantity. Just because some factory workers slap lace on a dress doesn't make it lolita. Also the things they are calling lolita are most often revealing, which is the opposite of lolita. They are selling much erorori. >x< No me gusta! But what really angers me is that now, thanks to them people who know nothing of lolita can prance around wearing it calling themselves lolita. crying
GOD SAVE THE LOLITA!

I'm casual. If I can find a few shirts or pants or whatever that evoke thoughts of lolita, I'm good.

Heartless_Nanashi I don't like Hot topic ever since they started selling their so called lolita clothes. Lolita is about quality, not quantity. Definately. If there is something in this world that I hate, it is cheap lace... Anyway - I think quite many of you people who think that casual loli is bad, kind of got the idea wrong. My casual loli is skirt + knee high stockings + mary janes + nice t-shirt + some kind of headdress... This is rather close to what I wear, plus some kind of headgear. I think this is rather loli, not "watered down", just not as frilly as it could be. Personally I feel that dressing full out everyday would take away the special factor of lolita.. nothing ladylike about sitting on a Uni lecture in a lolita dress razz

That outfit it very cute. Very 'country lolita' if I may say so myself. I think that if the skirt perhaps was a bit poofier, that would add to it's Lolita factor. Anyway, I like it.

Sadly, I do not know much at all about Lolita. So I don't have any lolita clothes at all. But I absolutely love the fashion.

Some of my clothes look slightly lolita, but I don't dress much like it. School would probable somehow find it out of dress code and say I can't wear it which would most likely piss me off. Also it's like really hard to find it around here.

Why isn't there an option between casual and "hardcore"? D: And besides, in Japan, most "hardcore" lolitas only dress "hardcore" lolita on weekends. x:

Seraphynthetic Why isn't there an option between casual and "hardcore"? D: And besides, in Japan, most "hardcore" lolitas only dress "hardcore" lolita on weekends. x: It's because they're expected to wear school uniforms on weekdays. Never under-estimate the power of "expected to" in Japan - us rebellious westerners can hardly imagine that.

My "hardcore" is anything full-blown lolita, not hardcore as dressing 24/7 and using old English when you speak. And like KitsunekoChan said, the weekend thing is due to school uniforms.

I don't really dress lolita. Some of my clothes have a feel elements, some have frills, layers, and stuff. But that's really it. I love the fashion though. So....I'm a lolita-in-training?
