If Riyo hadn't been tense from the thunder, she certainly was when Mitsu grabbed her arm. A slight tinge of red stained her cheeks as she looked down at the masked wolf ghoul, "Mitsu-" She started, but cut herself off when she realized how scared the lycan was.
Jack dammit.
The feline resisted the urge to shove Mitsu off, much to her body's protest. "C'mon." She grumbled, walking far enough to grab her umbrella off the ground and awkwardly close it up. "Lets go back then." With a ghoul at her arm and a cat clawing at her back, who wouldn't want to go home?
It was hard to navigate the streets, now that the storm was in full swing. As much as she hated them, the bolts of lightning helped illuminate the street signs just enough for Riyo to get an idea of where they were going. It took twice as long as usual, but eventually the school was within sight again. "We're almost there..."

Mitsu could feel the tension radiating off of Riyo but she couldn't bring herself to pry away from her. Somehow it felt safer being close. With a nod she followed the feline down the street, grabbing at her umbrella as they went. Every time the lightening flashed and the thunder struck Mitsu flinched and whimpered like she had been hit.
Thankfully though the school was in sight soon enough and Mitsu could feel herself picking up her pace. She wanted to be inside now. Back in her room where it was safe. She didn't like the loud noises and the bright lights.

Riyo's pace had increased as well when the dorms came into sight. Never had the building seemed so beautiful to her. First of all, she needed to drop off the clinging monkey on her arm.
A sneeze caught her off guard as they walked up to the door of the monster dorms, with some sniffles promptly following. Oh Jack, she better not be sick. "Here we are." She mumbled and opened the door, looking down at the ghoul. "... You can let go of my arm now."

Finally they were at the monster dorms. Mitsu had never been so happy to see them in all her life. Looking up at Riyo when she said she could let go the lycan shifted for a moment. "O..oh right."
Quickly she pulled away to give the feline some space noting as the ghoul sneezed. She...really hoped she wasn't going to come down with a cold. "Y..you should probably get out of the rain as soon as you can. You might really get-" There was a clap of thunder and Mitsu was suddenly inside so fast she was nothing more than a white blur.

Riyo covered her ears and watched as Mitsu dashed off for her own room, the alien feeling of someone clinging to her lingering after the lycan was gone.
Such an odd, awkward feeling it was...
"Lets go Felix..." The feline mumbled to her equally drenched and twice as panicked hazcat friend, retreating to her own room quietly. Sick. Hah. She wouldn't get- "ACHOO!"
... Sick...
