"It's no problem," Mitsu smiled finally finding the spoon to hold out to the reaper. "Just be sure to rest and get well." Sitting down on the floor again Mitsu reached into the bag to pull out an apple for herself. She liked meat but there was something about this fruit that was rather alluring. Taking a bite she looked up at Shun to see if he needed anything else.

"Is there anything else you need?" She asked curiously.

Content with the fact that Shun was fine for now Mitsu continued to eat her apple. After a short while Shun's question finally broke the silence and Mitsu turned a curious glance up toward the reaper.

"I...I like being able to help." She nodded. "It does make me happy." She frowned a bit though. "It doesn't make me happy to see you hurt so badly though." Mitsu had to wonder if what she was saying was making sense to the reaper. He had admitted to not having a great grasp on emotions. Would what she was saying be confusing? She was trying to think it over.

Mitsu's face fell into a sad sort of smile when Shun mentioned her brother. It wasn't always the easiest looking back on how things were...especially because of how they were now at home. "Yes, I did worry a lot about my brother. I..I still do." Desperately clinging to hope perhaps?

"It wasn't always just worrying though, its only one way to show we cared I guess. We had our good times though...and our sad times." Her smile started to fade a little as she focused on the apple in her hands. "I miss him a lot." The lycan had started to wonder how much her brother had known about Suto before he left.

Mitsu shook her head. "No, its okay. I miss him and...its hard remembering how it was....but at the same time I don't want to forget." The memories of the times she had with her brother were precious to her now. While it hurt to remember them at times, she was glad to recall them.

"I'm still learning to deal with it I guess. I'm much better than I used to be." Much better meaning she used to break into tears at the very mention of her brother....she had come a long way actually. "It helps a lot....having friends." She smiled softly glancing up at Shun shortly. "Have you figured out anything more? On the stuff that was confusing you?"

"I...can't really believe you pushed yourself to the point of bloody knuckles and bruised feet..." It was still a wonder to her how he had managed to continue for as long as he had. "So I guess there are things that confuse us both...but I don't think any of the feelings I've had are bad. I just know that I worry about you because I care. You are my friend and I want you to be well and not injured."

She continued to shift the half eaten fruit in her hand as she looked up at Shun. There was still that urge to tell him more on how she felt but...considering how he was it would probably only confuse him more. That and Lizzy had told her to wait...always waiting.

That sad look returned when Shun mentioned it hadn't been the first time. It was hard for her to imagine, nor did she really want to imagine, her friend in this situation over and over again. It made her worry for him all the more.

But Shun seemed to have an effective way of distracting her. The sigh had caught her attention and the words that followed had a slight twinge of pink touching her cheeks. Something about it made Mitsu happy, despite Shun still sounding confused, though she tried not to dwell on it for too long.

Smiling rather shyly Mitsu moved up toward the bed. "You're not sure if you like that I care or not?" She questioned trying to sound lighthearted about it. "If you don't like it....I don't know that I can stop. You're my friend I will always worry about you." Her smile warmed a bit as she folded her legs into more of an indian style sit.

Mitsu smiled a bit more when Shun replied. It was good to know that he thought so and that softened expression. Maybe she had just been gradually getting used to this small change in his features but...hadn't his expression been fairly intense the first time she saw him?

"I don't think it is. But you don't always worry. We've had fun times too right?" They had fun at the open house and at the festival...even if there had been a bit of drama here and there. Or..at least she had fun, Shun probably had...a less irritating to okay time. She wasn't sure yet. She was still gauging how he felt about certain things.

Again Mitsu smiled. "Not at all, I think you're doing fine." She reassured. "I think you understand better than you know it just hasn't clicked yet." Thinking quickly she tried to find a way to explain. "It's like you understand subconsciously but you haven't connected with it yet." At least that's how she felt on the matter. If he was as emotionally dense as he thought himself he probably never would have listened to Bent to get her out of the tree, he wouldn't have felt compelled to get her a new phone, he never would have taken her to Prom, he never would have asked her to the festival, and he certainly wouldn't have come running over to her dorm in the middle of the night because she was scared. No, deep down Mitsu knew Shun was a good guy he just had a hard outer layer to get passed.

"And I like you the way you are, Shun. So don't worry so much." Mitsu smiled warmly. "Even if you never quite understand that won't change how I feel." No, it wouldn't change how she felt but it would certainly make it harder to ever tell him the truth.
