Aither kept his face in the water, his nose was slightly above the water. Maybe he could fool her. Sure this was a dirty way to do but he vowed he would get her. He kept still and breathed slowly. It looked like he wasn't even breathing at all.

Lilie was watching him intently for a bit before she noticed a shadow glad over her. This caused her to look up and see the little bcr sparkling in the sun light and crows circling over head. It made her heat stop because they where attracted to to shiny things and with the baby sitting there with sunlight on it made it shine. She immediately started heading back to shore forgetting about Aither.

He popped his head up and saw the crows as well. He shot after the crow and used his speed and agility to dart up a slanted palm tree, he snapped at a crow by the tail feathers and pulled it down. He whipped his head then released the crow who fled with the other. "Is he ok?" Aither's tail flicked and he watched for other things.

Lilie hit another crow with her claws and all as it tried to hobble away with the baby in its beaks grasp. She let out a snarl and snapped her teeth at it before it took off dropping the baby. She quickly covered it with her body growling at the circling crows as Aither chased em off. Once they were gone she pulled back to examine him.
She looked close and gasped in horror. There was a crack and than another and another. "Aither its cracked all over the place," she cried to him tears starting to roll down her cheeks.

Aither smiled and laughed. He knew what was happening. "Put him down. This is a good thing. I promise." He stood by her side and lightly held her tail with his. The little BCR was hatching, and a little kit was about to come out. There were about to see him for the first time, and Aither was proud that he was here to see it with Lilie

Lilie looked up at Aither with panic in her eyes. "You sure? You swear?" she asked but set the bcr down none the less. Aither seemed confident and calm and she had no choice but to believe him. So leaning against him, she watched the bcr in anxiety. It shook a little than cracked some more before wiggling around. She moved forward to steady it when it busted. Right there with her paw hovering above it the bcr cracked up and there lay this little kit at her feet. It opened its eyes and looked at them both before yawning and curling back up and closing its eyes again.

Aither grinned at the new kit, then looked over at Lilie. "Congrats." He nudged her softly with his shoulder. He carefully lifted up the kit by the scruff and placed him on his back. "There, now you aren't on the sand and those mean ol' crows will think twice before coming back."

Lilie smiled and licked Aither's cheek. "Congrats to you to,"She said softly while watching the little baby boy curl up. He yawned and blinked his eyes open as Aither picked him up. His little paws pulled close to his body till he was on Aither's back than curled up and went back to sleep. Lilie nudged him with her nose "My beautiful little boy. I think we will call you Firelight. What do you think Aither?"

"I think it's a wonderful name." He smiled and looked back at the kit as he slept in his back. He nuzzled Lilie and licked her back. He chuckled. "I guess this means we can't go fool around in the water anymore." Which was fine with him. He eyed the vixen... "You know I still owe you from wave tag."

" I think it will fit him perfectly," she said with a smile her tail wagging. "No we cant play in the water any more we have to keep him dry and safe. Maybe we should lay down and keep him from getting sunburn," she murmurer looking up at the sun. She watched him with a smirk" That will really have to wait till later my dear."

He laughed. "I had a feeling you were going to say that." He looked around for a shaded spat and saw one further up shore. He walked up under the base of a large tree, the laid down. "How is this spot?" He scooted over and made a spot for Lilie. "Here... come lay with us."

"Knew I was going to say what?" Lilie asked tilting her head to the side giving him a questioning look. She wasn't being predictable was she? She smiled and her tail wagged behind her "Of course I'll lay with you two my cute and handsome men," She said before walking over and pushing herself close to them and under Firelight so that he was using their body as a pillow and Lilie using Aither as a pillow.

"That we would have to wait for later." He smiled and snugged with Lilie. He laid his head on her. "What are we going to do next? Now that Firelight has popped out of his BCR?" Maybe they would have to hunt? Or He could take her home...

"Oh hush you," Lilie told him playfully wile slightly whacking him with the fluff part of her tail. She laid against him in thought for awhile. As she did this the birds chirped and the seagulls squawked which really irritated her for some reason. They had annoying voices. "Well I suppose we let him sleep and find him food. One of us stays here with him and the other fetch him food."

"Firelight does look comfy... I'd hate to move him." Aither looked up at the kit. "Do you come here oten Lilie?" If she did it would be easier for her to hunt right? She should know what to hunt and where to hunt it. Aither himself wasn't picky about food. He ate almost anything.
