Apparently nature did not want Yuna to sleep. The same butterfly was fluttering on her ear. Yuna sat up, rubbed her eyes and looked around. That's odd... De wasn't there. She shrugged. Ir was ok. She just hoped he was ok. She got up and fixed her hair and fur, plucking out some leaves and a twig. Instead of wandering too far Yuna slipped into the shade. She was dry enough.

Gliding to the clearing De landed and looked to where he had remembered Yuna sleeping. She wasn’t there. He darted forward in panic up to the spot. He felt as though something wondrous had happened only for something disastrous to take place. “YUNA!!!” De whipped his head from side to side looking for her before her yellow fur in the shade caught his eye. He darted up to he and crushed her in a hug relieved she was alright.
Following close behind her son Hael remembered the clearing she saw below her and remembered the last time she flew out of it. There was a vile taste in her mouth. Still she landed when she heard her son call out for that girl. His mate. She saw him hug the vixen and held her spot quietly. Knowing what she had to do and yet not comfortable with it yet.

She jumped as she was crushed in De's hug. "De.." It was a little hard for her to breathe. "De.. I love you... but you're crushing me." Waiting for De to losing his 'Death Grip of Love' she peered over his shoulder to see her. "Hael!?" Her eyes grew wide. "De..." She shuffled around so she can look up at him. "What's going on..."

.De released Yuna. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to harm you? I thought you were gone and something bad happened to you. ” De smiled at Yuna and nuzzled her. Seeing Yuna’s surprised face De gently tapped her cheek. “Yuna don’t worry. You need not worry. My mother is only here to speak.”
Hael cleared her throat. She shuffled her wings and looked at Yuna out from behind her hair and sighed lightly. This was not going to be easy.

Yuna looked at De. "No, just moved into the shade silly." She smiled, but not as she usually did, It was a weak, concerned, nervous smile. "Speak about what..." The last meeting with Hael wasn't pleasant. Hael had nasty things to say about Yuna before, evening spitting upon her. But she trusted him. She shuffled next to De so Hael can speak with her.

De wrapped a wing around Yuna for support. “Yuna, my mother met a deava a ways from here and had an interesting conversation with him. Their conversation… well now I’ll let my mother explain things.”
Hael sighed and steped closer to the young lovers. “I … may have been a bit hasty.. in my decision to neysay your.. relationship.” This really was bitter medicine to swallow. She didn’t want to admit that any vixen was good enough for her son, yet she knew she was too harsh on Yuna before.

She looked over at De briefly before looking back at Hael. "Ok... Go ahead..." She was still suspicious. She can tell Hael was struggling with what ever she was really trying to say. Was she.. trying to accept her. Yuna didn;t think it was possible. Or could it. She fidgeted slightly. Unsure of what to thing or say other than what she already had.

De squeezed Yuna lightly to show he was there. He could see his mom fighting her old prejudice and hoped that she had changed enough for things to go well. He made sure to keep and edge of pessimistism though. There was no sense in getting all excited and having things blow up in his face.
Hael’s eye twitched. What was this girl expecting from her. She said she might be a bit hasty in her earlier decisions. That didn’t make this girl good enough for her son, just that Hael might be more accepting of their relationship than she would before. “I might have been wrong to judge you based solely on your blood, not your merit. That is all.”

"If that is so perhaps you should get to know me like your son does." She leaned into De, her eyes still glued on Hael. She sighed, she had the feeling Hael wouldn't stick around, she probably had "better things" to do. And to be honest, she didn't care. Yuna was expecting more of an apology, but she just wanted to be with De.

(aww.. don’t hate her she really is trying. Though I think the idea of giving up her son, and learning to accept people as more then there bloodlines is going to break her since she is tackling both at once. Perhaps Yuna could help?)
Laughing softly De nudged Yuna a bit. “Well I certainly hope you two don’t get to know one another as much well as you and I do Yuna. I don’t think seeing my mother kiss my mate would really be the best thing in the world.” It was a poor joke but perhaps a bit of humor would do some good. His mother and Yuna were both tightly wound as he could tell.
Twitching visibly at De’s joke Hael managed a weak laugh. “I don’t think that you need worry too much. I think I’d rather go back and kiss that deava Deimos than kiss your… your.. m..mate.” Hael practically had to choke the word out to say it aloud but she managed to. She still disliked the idea that Yuna thought that she was good enough for Hael’s son, but De liked her and Hael knew that to try and break the two would result in her losing her son again.. and that would break her.

Yuna smiled a bit, but not a lot. She was still cautious about Hael. "That is fine with me, I wouldn't want to kiss you either." They weak laugh made her think that Hael was at least trying. She sighed in defeat. "Hael... Would you join us for a bite to eat?" She hoped she wouldn't regret this. "Since you are.. our guest De and myself will hunt. I'm sure you had a... long day so you can stay here and relax."

“Yes that sounds like a good idea. You can just sit and rest here and myself and Yuna will come back with food for you.” De nudged Yuna grateful for her input and her wisdom. His mother was frowning, but at least it would give them space to think about things a bit.
Hael frowned at Yuna. A guest? She was a guest? It hurt, worse than a swipe to the face. De was her son. She shouldn’t be a guest. Rather she should be a mother. To cut her out of her own family was not only insulting, but it irked her to no end. Pasting on a fake smile for her son she nodded her concent.

Yuna pasted on a smile for Hael and De then slipped away to the usual hunting spot. Once, there she sighed, the pasted on smile slipped off. This was hard for her. "You know she we always hate me... If not for my blood line, then for having you." She shook her head. She shouldn't let this get to her... but it did. What would happen when they had kits? 'Mommy... Daddy... Are we ever going to meet grandma?' No because she hates you.... Yuna shuddered. Hunting would be difficult with her thinking like this.

De sighed aloud. “I don’t think so. I know my mother is a pain in the tail, but well. Yuna I saw her speaking calmly to a Deava.. Not only that but she actually made jokes! I’m sure if you two just talked then you could work something out with her.”
Laying down Hael took the time to think things over. Was she being to harsh with the girl? No she was just still so raw and in pain about everything

"If I try to talk would she even listen?" She sighed again and nuzzled De, stealing a kiss from him. "Alright... I will try to talk to her." Then she turned and did what they originally set out to do. Hunt. She spotted a doe and easily took it down. "Will this be enough or should we snag something else?"
