Curiously Mitsu peered through her mask watching Junko and the undead interact. She had never met Sammy before so she was a little too nervous to say hello. All the same the undead seemed very focused on their conversation about the campaign booths.
It wasn't until Junko motioned her forward that Mitsu finally moved to take a seat where indicated. Her tail curling up around her to rest in her lap, Mitsu tilted her head back a bit to look at Junko curiously not sure what was going to happen next. She had watched her work on Hel's hair and had finished with it fairly quickly.
For the time Mitsu turned her attention back to the people around her. Eyes mostly lingering on Shun and Mot. "How have you been enjoying the festival?" She asked the cowboil reaper. The lupine really hadn't seen much of it yet herself, only spotted things as she had walked passed.

Hearing Mot greet Mitsu, Shun looked over at the cowboy, giving a sort of half wave to the guy before turning his attention to Junko. Her promises seemed simple enough. It wasn't anything too out there, and she seemed eager for sure.
The bit that got his attention, however was the one on fieldtrips. He wasn't aware the student council had any sort of say in that type of things. Aside from that, he wasn't too certain about removing them outright. From what he had heard, while traumatic, the students who went managed to come out stronger upon their return.
Power never comes without a price.
"Would you still want to try and get rid of those things even if it meant slowing the progression of growth for the students?" he asked critically, "I hadn't been to either myself, but it seems like you guys had come away better for having been through them. From what I've heard at least."
Watching as Junko prepped to do Mitsu's hair, he then turned his attention over towards Mot as the wolf girl asked him how things had been going thus far.

"I heard something about dieing a lot," Roch said, joining the conversation about the field trips. "Must have sucked." But he sort of felt the same way Shun did. He had an old man to outdo, and he wasn't going to do it by playing safe on campus the full three years, was he?
Idly he grabbed another takiyaki, taking a bite--
"Peanutbutter?" he said thoughtfully, looking into the fish. "Needs jelly," he added, munching it down happily. "But over all it ain't bad!"

Mot gave Shun a nod and small wave of his own upon being waved to. Perhaps the other reaper was not as socially inept as he first thought.
"I love it." He said, smiling. "Lot's of people to talk to. That is always a plus in my books. Though I could have gone without seeing Petro's junk." Sigh. The tabletopia booth.

Tomoko looked to Junko when she mentioned The island of terrible things, frowning. Oh man, she had hated that island. She had hated it so so so much. Hrrrnngghhh. And Hate was a strong word for Tomoko, so it meant something. She looked between Junko and the others who were gathering at the booth as the conversation passed between people.
Idly, she picked up one of the Taiyaki fish and took a bite...
ajf;kkdlfhadklfjdlfhladk.
Tomoko started to cough, a mouthful of glitter coughed into her lap and all over her ball of stars, looking completely baffled. w-what..what was even.
"JUNKO-CHAN." she looked to the Futakuchi-onna, looking horrified. "Junko-chan, w-why is there..." tears were beginning to well up in the kitsune's eyes and it was obvious that crying would happen. She..she had just...
Tomoko coughed some more, trying to brush the glitter off of her before looking inside of the offending taiyaki with a frown.

Riley...really asked her that? Her stomach twisted into a nervous knot, unsure what to do. Riley did? She..she wanted Junko? But she was pretty sure she would work with any Vice President! It seemed like something Riley wasn't...picky about. But the idea of Riley supporting her, her friend, and being able to support her as well got her a little excited. "O-okay! If Riley really wants some of my things..! What should I give? Buttons and plushies?" She couldn't trust sending her food to Riley. Riley would eat it herself. And then Junko would be sad because Riley ate it all instead of giving it away.
As Mitsu sat down Junko tried not to squeal with excitement, placing the sticks down on the table beside the ghoul so she could get a literal feel for what Mitsu's hair. How heavy it was, the texture, what it could handle, how long it was and Jack was it long! This was going to be so much fun! She idly ran her fingers slowly through the ghoul's hair to work out any tangles, not wanting to pull or tug too hard and hurt her. That was the complete opposite of what she wanted; doing someone's hair should be a relaxing experience, not a stressful one.
She looked up as Roch mentioned she needed a jelly taiyaki, looking down at the offerings. "I do have jelly, actually. Grape and strawberry. It's in there somewhere..." She should've sorted them by flavor. Crap. Shun's question got her immediate attention and her hair lifted with interest. He had a good point, but just...there were ways to get stronger without being traumatized.
"I'm not saying get rid of them entirely, I apologize. Just...disasters like those field trips. There should be better ways to grow and become stronger without being...s-sliced...in half from head to t-toe." Junko paused a moment to purse her lips and look away, swallowing hard. She couldn't think about that. No way. She just couldn't. It was too gruesome. Just. Ugh. She'd finally gotten over those nightmares, too. She couldn't let them return! The ghoul cleared her throat and looked up again. "Field trips are great, just...you know...a little less student death would be even better." It was horrifying and traumatizing. Some of the students still had problems with fog. Fog? Really? Something so minor and insignificant and so common in Halloween. It wasn't right that they should fear their own home.
...Wait, what? "Petro's...junk?" Junko's brow furrowed with confusion as she gave Mot a curious look. Junk? Like..trash? Did Mot not like something Petro had brought with him? She didn't understand. But before she could ask any more Tomoko suddenly cried her name, and that held her undivided attention now. What?! What was wro--WHAT THE!
"G-glitter?!" More of that stupid glitter in a taiyaki now?! Junko let go of Mitsu's hair to turn around and take the taiyaki, tossing the tainted fish into a nearby trash bin she'd had stashed under the table and leaning down to cup her hands against Tomoko's cheeks. "I-I'm sorry, Tomo-chan! I hoped the dirt was the only one! I don't even...glitter is just...Tomo-chan, I'm sorry! I don't..." She heard laughter and looked past Tomoko, spotting a gnome howling with laughter to the point of tears.
...Gnomes. Junko's eyes narrowed at the stupid thing. Stupid gnomes. The gnome wiped its eyes and looked her way, spotting the death glare she was giving it and the way her hair raised and writhed like angry snakes. "Ohshit!" It then ran away in a cloud of dust to warn the others. The jig was up!

Shun raised an eyebrow at the bit on being sliced from head to toe. That was one detail he missed out on. Even then, he wasn't sure about eliminating danger.
"As beings of FEAR, we have the advantage of death not always being final," he said quietly, "There is potential in learning from death. If we make a mistake, we have the privilege of possibly learning from it so we don't end up dying again."
"It sucks. But death is just as a part of life as living is," he added darkly.
It might have sounded grim, but this was coming from a reaper; one who was training to harvest the souls of the deceased. He shot a glance to the other two reapers, figuring that they might get an idea of what he was trying to say here.
His gaze lingered on Mot a little longer as he... mentioned seeing Petro's junk?
....
He didn't really want to know what happened there to cause that.
Then, hearing Tomo cry out, the Reaper's attention shifted over to the kitsune... noticing her mouth now sparkling. Grimacing at the sight of that, he looked to see that she had somehow gotten.. glitter in her taiyaki. Another sound caught his attention. Turning, he saw the gnome nearby, laughing his head off.
No doubt it had been the one to cause this.

"The bat balloon game?" Hasuko guessed. "With the darts, yes? I know that one." She smiled and led the gnome by the hand. The poor little thing had such short legs that she had to significantly slow her walking pace so he could keep up.
"I can't believe someone would just kick you like that!." she exclaimed as they walked along. "Are you sure it wasn't an accident or a misunderstanding of some kind?" Since moving into the dorms, Hasuko had witnessed many a brawl start in the monster dorm's hallway for some silly reason or another -- sometimes monsters just fought for the joy of fighting. Good natured rough-housing and the like. It certainly made things lively.
Hasuko blinked a little in confusion at the next thing Robert said and his embarrassment following it. "I like birds too?" she said, not quite sure what had upset the little gnome but wanting to reassure him. "What's a duck though? Is it like a Corrividus or a Carry On?"
She was distracted by a delicious smell wafting from a nearby booth. "Wah! Taiyaki!" she cried in pleasure. She hadn't expected to see a snack like that here at the Floresctival. Just seeing the little pastry fish brought a twinge of both nostalgia and homesickness.
Hasuko looked at the booth sign. Junko for Vice-President. Ah, it was one of the campaign booths, apparently. She leaned over to take a closer look around the booth, charmed by the kanji signs and the origami cranes and just *everything*.
She smiled a little sheepishly at the gnome. "Sorry Robert, but do you mind if we stop here for a moment? I'd like to take a closer look at this booth." Hasuko hadn't realized that there were other students from her part of Halloween town. She was really curious to meet Junko.

"What's a.."
Robert's dream of being in Ducktales could be heard flushing down the metaphorical toilet.
He was startled by the way she squealed some foreign word, and tripped over his own legs when their path took a turn in the direction of the booth. "UH-sure, anything you want princess." He huffed out, trying to get himself back to walking normally. Whoa, this booth looked all.. chickity-china. Seriously, was this really the place where all the monsters came from? He felt like he was being Punked.
"Something smells like fish." He started tugging on the booth lining, in hopes that whatever was on that table might fall to his level.

Mot seemed to be enjoying himself, that was good, perhaps there were other things to look forward to. Nothing like the haunted house. No more pink no more glitter.....Hearing Tomoko's cry Mitsu looked over and slightly paled. She that spoken internally far too soon seeing the poor Kitsune coughing up glitter from her pastry.
Mitsu watched Junko leave her side to console the poor ghoul and like Shun turned when she heard snickering and spotted the gnome not far off. She was learning more and more how gnomes were a mischievous bunch. Poor Tomoko.
Silently Mitsu wondered if Junko had anything to drink at her booth, that would certainly help, but her gaze fell on the new comers. A ghoul she had not seen before....and another gnome. Oh no...she hoped it wasn't one of the gnomes playing pranks.

"It's still very reckless to send us out when we aren't strong enough to defend ourselves." Junko replied calmly, something surprising considering she was still glaring in the direction of the escaping gnome. She knew she wasn't going to win this with Shun. He was being a Mister Gloomy Pants. She was very disappointed that the gnome had gotten away, she'd wanted to grab it and make it tell her what it had done.
Next time.
A cry of taiyaki made her stand up again and look to see what had happened. It was a happy one. Someone wouldn't be happy about bad taiyaki. But who was this? It was a voice she didn't recognize.
...But it was a race she was somewhat familiar with. Moreso the origins of said race than the actual race itself. Her hair puffed with joy while her hands set to petting Tomoko's hair. She'd have to find her a glass of water soon. "Hello~! Welcome! Have whatever you like! Ah..just...I'd advise maybe checking the filling of your taiyaki first before you eat it. It would seem some gnomes have tampered with my offerings." A glare was cast in the direction the gnome had fled again, pausing in her epic hatred of gnomes to find the source of the question of fish. Huh? Who said that?
Junko leaned around the booth and looked down. Her eyes glowed more intensely for a moment as her hair raised with anger.
A gnome.
"Oh no you don't! You're not ruining my taiyaki again!" Junko cried, hurrying around the booth two sections of strong hair wrapped around the gnome's wrist and held him tightly. One foot swung back and then forward again, releasing him in time to punt the gnome like a bruteball.
Unfortunately her sandal went flying as well. But the gnome was gone. That was the important thing.

Hasuko gaped in shock between Junko and the direction that Robert the gnome went flying. "W-what?" she stammered. The other girl seemed nice and her booth was so pretty but she had just---
"Ano, excuse me." she said, trying not to get so flustered and losing. Surely the other girl had her reasons for kicking Robert -- maybe it was all just another misunderstanding?? "But um, that is, why did you kick him?" She looked worriedly off in the direction where Robert when flying yet again. "That was cruel..." she said, sadly.

Hearing a delightful squeal, Shun glanced to see a Kappa and a gnome headed towards the booth. The gnome certainly stick around for long as Junko punted it far on off. Damn that girl had a good kick. Watching the gnome fly on off, he glanced over at the Kappa, who seemed rather unhappy now because of it.
Speaking of the taiyaki, he warily eyed the things while deciding to take his chance with another one. He knew now that that things were potentially filled with either dirt or glitter.
Breaking off a small bit, he peeked inside. It looked like jelly, so it seemed pretty safe. One bite later and this proved to be true.

Oh no. She'd upset the ghoul. Nono! She didn't mean for that! She didn't--she just...she didn't understand! Junko frowned and frantically looked for the two tainted taiyaki she'd tossed into the trash. Where, where..ah! The dirt and glitter-filled taiyaki were picked up and held out enough for the ghoul to see without getting dirt and glitter on anything. "Because the gnomes messed with my taiyaki. They filled some of them with terrible things, but I don't know which ones are which because for some reason I didn't think to sort them by flavor. I can assure you the ones I made are very good! Just ask Shun and Mitsu! A-and except for the glitter I've never given Tomo-chan anything bad to eat, right?" She looked desperate as she turned a look to Shun, Tomoko and Mitsu. She even turned to Mot and Roch. Vouch for her! Vouch! Please!
Junko dropped the taiyaki into the trash again and bent low at the waist before the ghoul, her hands folded neatly in front of her and resting against her legs. "I'm very sorry if I upset you. I just couldn't let the gnomes go on thinking they could just go away with messing with my taiyaki." She lifted her head to peer up at the ghoul through her bangs, looking utterly apologetic.
