She looked all over the box, this time finding some strange sort of mechanism. "Oh! So this is how you do it," she said, playing with the code. Of course, she had no idea what the code was, but it wouldn't hurt to try!

The Box is Broken username: Ice Queen
The door slid open and Syb let out a happy little sound before going in and answering the phone. "Hello! Mr. Phone booth's place!" she said in a perky little voice. She would make a very good secretary.
....
"Hello?" she asked when there was no reply. "Is anyone there?"
A seed came out, making her jump. She looked at it, then both ways before grabbing the seed. "Sorry, you've probably got the wrong number anyway!" she said, hanging up and leaving the booth. "Bye bye, Mr. Phone!" she called, waving before running away with her seed in hand.

"Ring ring goes the box, Kai, I mean me, wonders if I or is it she should answer or not?" The ghost ghoul replied as she peered at the noise blue box that she had been listening to for the last five minutes as she seemed to continue to confuse her self with what pronouns her sentences should be. The noise it self was rather ear splitting even for the former mermaid who was fond of listening to the waves crashing together in a bowl or even the noise of sea monsters calling one another (and yet most couldn't really tell the difference between the two annoyances).
Chewing on her lip, Kai placed her hands on her hips as she stared waiting for someone to come answer it.

"ARGH THATS IT KAI CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" She yelled flexing her fingers as she glared that blue box that seemed to only get louder. She pulled on the handle but the door didn't open.
"STUPID... STUPID THING!" The ghost kicked the box in annoyance before realizing the set of buttons on the handle she gave a wicked smirk before mashing them all together.

Nothing. It still didn't budge.
"FINE KAI DOESN'T WANT TO ANSWER YOU ANYWAYS! STUPID!" She kicked the door again with her foot before yelping in pain hugging her toes. Yet it still did nothing as her brows furrowed in agitation.
"Kai hates you," the ghost replied sticking her tongue out at it as she attempt to stomp away in a hobble.

Mo couldn't open the last time but she was determined to open it this time. She walked up to the box and placed her hands behind her back. She was hesitating now all that determination gone. Question went through her head what if the door was locked like last time? What if this is just a cruel prank? What if... She stopped her self and spoke out loud to herself "your going to open for me this time?" It was suppose to sound like a demanding statement but sounded more like a scaredy cat's question.

Mo pushed at the door nothing happened then she pulled at it again nothing happened. She tugged at it again and again getting agitated then circled around the box once more for another door or maybe a hidden one she couldn't find.

Mo couldn't believe that it didn't open again her eyebrow and tail twitched furiously. "You will open for me..." she yelled at the box then mumbled this "....one day." Mo looked around hoping nobody heard her yelling at a box. She pulled her hood over her face more and ran off vowing to get the box to open for her open day.

You again.
Cu stared down the Boogy Box cowboy stand-off style, as though glaring at it could scare the booth into opening up and sharing its secrets. "You're not going to keep me out this time!" the cu sith announced. Slowly, like a predator stalking his prey, he circled the blue structure.
Yesterday he had spent several hours trying to break into the strange building with no success. That was NOT going to happen again. TODAY he was prepared. Last night he had stayed up researching number dials and NOW he understood how they worked. He even knew what a phone booth was for!
This new information would make all the difference. He was sure of it. He was dying to find out who was behind that phone inside, and this stupid Boogy Box was NOT getting in his way!

Cuinn continued to circle the Boogy Box for several long minutes. He inspected it carefully, hunting for any clues that might help him get inside. Were any of the numbers on the dial particularly worn? Wearing a very serious expression, he drew in close and examined the handle. No, none of them were faded. Shoot!
Maybe the dial would stick when on the correct number? Experimentally, the dog turned it slowly, his ear pressed against the box. Unfortunately, he did not hear a telling "click" and did not feel any resistance no matter what number he passed over. Oh well.
"I guess it's up to chance!" he sighed. Taking a deep breath, he stopped the wheel on a random number.

Fourty two was the meaning of life, right? Surely it was meaningful enough to open some horrible blue phone booth. Cuinn set the dial to "42" and eagerly tried the handle. Nothing. It would not budge. "@#%$!" he cursed. This was getting frustrating.
Thwarted again, Cuinn kicked the blue booth angrily. OUCH! That was a mistake. Whimpering, the cu sith bent down to nurse his now-throbbing foot. "This isn't over!" he announced. "I'll be back for you tomorrow."
With that Cuinn stood and walked away, shaking his fist as he did so. He was going to defeat this thing sooner or later. If he didn't, the entire festival would be ruined for him.

[[OOC: I wrote Van's "approach" of the booth before I had to go to work, but found out I was going in two hours earlier than normal, so his first post is on the last page OTL]] Van wedged the shovel's tip into the door, but couldn't seem to get any purchase. Maybe that wasn't a door after all, just a line. Or maybe he was seeing things altogether. Still, he spent a good five minutes heaving and prying at the booth, until eventually he was reduced to smacking the head of the shovel against the ringing booth like a madman, a heavy growl in the back of his throat.
One of the wayward blows ricocheted off the booth and smashed into his forehead. He howled in pain, an eerie, haunting sound which befitted his heritage as one of the Devil's Dandy Dogs.

He had walked by it again. Kazuka hadn't been meaning to find the mystery box again so soon but he was not going to walk away from it now. He strode up to the ringing box and wondered who it was that was calling, let alone calling so much. He narrowed his eyes on the panel once again and gave the numbers another shot.

The Box is BrokenNatsukonekoThis time the door unlatched and Kazuka peeked into the box curiously. Nothing was strikingly weird about it, nor was it particularly scary. Why had Desu-chan ran away from it those long hours ago? The phone rang again and the tall reaper reached over and plucked it up before holding it to his ear. "..." He didn't say anything and nothing came over the other side of the line so he pushed his self to talk. "....Hello?" Nothing answered back and he felt a brush of annoyance before there was a clink sound. He looked down and spotted a Florestival seed in the coin slot. He raised an eyebrow and with a quirk of his lips took and placed the seed in his pocket. After that was done he put the phone back down in it's proper place. There was a weird urgent feeling in the air now though so he calmly but quickly exited the box. When the door slammed and the sound of a lock falling into place happened behind him he got an interested twinkle in his eyes. Interesting, very interesting.
