[[Hallway]] It wasn't always the clothes themselves that made the outfit, but the way in which a person wore them. Muka could tell this with Natalia. He could taste her self confidence though it was laced with that spicey scent that clung to his family. That was a taste that spoke of sweaty tumbles in the darkness. "My apologies!" His voice rose to a screech, sorry that he had not introduced himself. "My name is Ulmuka Knobwalker. I would LOVE to see your clothes, I've quite a closet myself!" Any insinuation Natalia may have made (or not) would hit a brick wall with Muka. He was a connoisseur of fancy clothes but he was completely dense when it came to double entendre, flirting or saucy insinuations. His grin told her that he wanted to see her outfits. That was all. There was nothing deliberate behind it at all but he seemed to simply be immune to sexuality of any kind. He turned his head when she glanced down the hall and saw quite a few teens with furry ears. How fun! He very politely motioned back behind him. He wouldn't keep Natalia if she preferred meeting those others. They must be friends! His unnerving grin remained plastered though and the uneven blink of his eyes made everyone feel as if he wouldn't be far away from them, even if they left. He may always be there... looking over your shoulder. So far the other ghoul had been quiet and so he politely stayed by her side so as not to be rude and abandon her without a proper introduction.

Something was on her. Something. Was. ON HER. OH DEAR JACK WHAT WAS IT?! The she-wolf made a surprised sound and brushed at her head and ear. Feathers? What...she sniffed at one and sneezed. Then sneezed again. The sound of feet running had the she-wolf grabbing at Demi. Of course, the were-tiger had her arm, so naturally, he came too when she grabbed the hound. "M-Maybe...we should continue on down this hall?" Was her voice squeaky? Why yes. Yes it very much was. And she made sure to keep one hand clutched against Demi while the other had Faint.
"Least we're not alone, right?" LW offered, though it didn't sound too reassuring. Her tail was not moving from around her legs anytime soon either. "Jack, they sure did." The she-wolf glanced back the way she had run. Was there something down there? It sounded like something was playing...a game maybe? But her eyes couldn't pick anything out. Just a sea of pink. Her grip on the boils tightened. "Traincar? Oh! The blasted Christmastown 'field trip' from hell. We were in the same traincar during that...trip." It had been so jacking cold too! LW hated the cold white stuff.
Ears perking, she strained to hear anything other than the laughter. And then it was like someone shrieked happily right into her ear. It made her jump and make a yelp much like Demi had before. "Should we see if we can find others?"

[Hallway] 'Faint grunted in surprise and LW pulled him toward Damien. He wasn't sure how comfortable he was being in such close quarters, but he wasn't very comfortable to begin with. At least he wasn't dealing with it alone. He twitched hard as another shriek of laughter filled his ears.
"I think this might be hell, actually. I'm not sure if I'd rather be here or in Christmastown." He hissed to LW as she filled Damien in. "We definitely need to get out of here. I'm starting to look like a bird." To punctuate his point, he pulled a feather off his tail with two claws and made a face at it.
Now that they were securely in a clump of furry tails and ears thanks to LW, he was able to keep from baring his teeth, but he still felt poofy, and the giggling sounds didn't seem to be stopping. Gently he nudged LW and Damien, trying to encourage them to begin walking down the hall. If anything, maybe there'd be less pink in that direction. Or at the very least, less glitter. So. much. jacking. glitter! He'd need so many showers when he got home.

Damien was glad to get out of the way of the little bear wandering past them, as he used his tail to knock the little thing aside for good measure. As much as he'd like to deal with the pink walls and its horrible disease known as glitter, just touching the stuff made him want to run to the hills.
Even dealing with Levi seemed like a much better ordeal than this.
He wanted to cling to the wall like a spider but the arm that deftly found its way around his said otherwise as its vice like grip dragged him back down and swiftly to LW's side. Who happened to be a bit more frazzled than he thought. "Ack, well, I see no problem with traveling together." He tried to act nonchalant about it, but was jumping for joy on the inside that he didn't have to wander around on his lonesome.
"Oh, for that old thing in the past that Ren told me about, with the snow stuff?" he asked, he remembered the gryphons tale of the train and the trees and the wonder behind snow that still had his curiosity. "Shall we keep moving then?" he said, encouraging Lw's idea for moving forward, but not as much as Faint did with his gentle tugging toward the unexplored area.
There wasn't enough showers in the world to get rid of all the glitter and feathers on him.
"Uh, lead the way bub." he barked out wearily as he was dragged around by the Were tiger visitor and the Werewolf, his own ears were firmly turned as far back as they could, trying to make sure nothing else could get the jump on them, especially since he had no way of running without LW running with him. Traveling with a group was a blessing, and a curse.

She would have bound off happily if it weren't for Muka's swift pull to the side and his ever-present grin; and the words he spoke so confidently, lacking the same sort of hint that she had put forth. She had experience with the innocent type...finding that she was not to be trusted around them on most occasions. But, with how charming he was (you sort of had to look past the creepy expression on his face to see such, and Natalia was experienced in THAT as well...) it surprised the ghoul to find the potential student so...
Well, unaware. Blinking several times before rolling her eyes and spinning on her heels, the ghoul figured whoever her fellow were romped about with would keep the red-headed ghouls attention for quite some time anyway...and to investigate the rest of the house further would be a hell of a lot more entertaining than waiting around for the others to make their way over. "Alright Ulmuka Knobwalker. I think it would benefit both of us to stick together, would you not agree?" Her orange gaze lifted and fell upon the ice-blue haired ghoul that was with them, motioning with a smile that the offer was for the both of them.
Creaking all around them rattled the ghouls resolve as she flinched and looked overhead, covering her face with both of her hands. No fuzzy animals would be falling on this monster today!

((Hallway)) Once again Tsubaki found herself here at AA, though last time she had been here it was for the Open House. Granted, she hadn't seen much of the campus or the other students outside of the Scario Kart booth. So when the mention of a festival had come up, Tsubaki thought that it might be a good chance to get back in there to see what some more of the recreational events were like, as well as possibly meet some more of the student body. One of the first attractions that caught her eyes was the Haunted House, quite curious to see what all they might have in there.. or if it would even be remotely terrifying. After spending a few minutes just standing there and debating about going in or playing a few games first, curiosity won and in she went. Though the sight that greeted her was unlike anything she'd expected... especially the glitter. "Oh my... well... maybe there won't be so much further in..." Even as the words left her lips, a part of her knew it was only going to get worse, but wasn't going to turn back now. Taking a deep breath she started on down the hallway, hearing a few other voices in the distance and hoping that she caught up to someone sooner than later.

[RANDOM EVENT: Hallway]As the students in the hallway marched down the winding path filled with portraits of the most sickening variety and random bursts of laughter, it gave way to a small landing. It was little more than a hollowed out room of stone interrupting the path that continued to wind down beneath the main building.
Directly in the center of the room, blocking the students from continuing on through the hallway that spiraled down directly across from them, was a statue. It was large, looming up nearly to the ceiling of the tall cavern-style room, and it was.. a bunny. The smile on her face was sweet, with eyes so large they encompassed nearly her entire head and a poofy dress splattered in flowers.
As all the students filed in, a disembodied voice sprang to life and echoed in the room.
"If you want to get past Miss Cuddles here, you're all going to have to play a game first."
The voice paused as two small slabs of stone indented on opposite sides of the wall and slid up out of view, exposing empty black holes with a darkness so thick it was impossible to predict what might be lurking behind them. Then it began, so softly at first that it was almost impossible to hear, but eventually loud enough that it clear and obvious.
A chorus of tiny mewls.
First one, hesitant, and then another popped their tiny little heads out of the miniature doorways. Then they were pouring out in droves, dozens upon dozens that filled the room and turned the floor into a living, breathing mass of adorable.
There were kittens, kittens everywhere.
They pounced and tackled and flopped in all the ways that made a kitten precrious, filling every TiH student in the room with an unconscious need to scoop them up and cuddle them. But at the same time, just looking into their eyes set all of the students' hearts racing and their limbs seemed to be frozen in place. The kittens were petrifying them with cute.
"Do you see all these kittens? Miss Cuddles really loves kittens, but she's so big that she can't catch them all. If you want her to let you leave this room, you're going to have to have to catch them for her."
The statue over head suddenly began to move, spreading her arms out as if she were going to hug some imaginary giant, though they moved with an eerie screech of metal on metal. Then her head shifted to an angle, tilted curiously to the side as her eyes rolled down to stare at the students and her wide smile spread even wider.. almost creepy combined with the intensity of her gaze. She looked crazy, crazy for kittens.
"And don't try to get past Miss Cuddles before every kitten in the room has been caught, you'll be sorry if you do."
Then the voice burst into laughter that slowly faded away, until there was nothing left but creepy Miss Cuddles staring down at the group expectantly. - This is a random event for the students in the Hallway only. You are not allowed to leave the staircase to join the Hallway - there will be a staircase exclusive event later. Staircase characters may continue RPing and interacting with each other during this time.
This event will last until 9 PM EST. During that time, the goal is to catch as many kittens as your character possibly can!
To catch a kitten, roll a 20-sided die. 15 - 20 = kitten caught, 14 or below = fail. A small RP post is required with each roll! Just a small 'how they tried to catch it'. You may only post a catch attempt every fifteen minutes. Please edit 'fail' or 'caught' into each dice post and keep a count of your kitten total with it.
Remember, looking into the eyes of a kitten will immobilize your character until the kitten looks away! So you guys might have to be a little crafty in your catch attempts..
If your character happens to accidentally exterminate a kitten, the kitten will burst in an explosion of confetti and glitter that sticks to everything. It is impossible to wipe off and will get all over anything in its vicinity - including large portions of your character. It has no status affects, other than being absolutely annoying.
Once your character has caught a kitten, there is a convenient little kitten corral located at the statue's feet. It's a simple fenced in circle where your character can simply drop it off.
Prizes will go to the top kitten-catchers after the event ends.
Have fun!

Kala blinked as they made it into the statue room. The Dream Catcher had thought nothing of it....up until he heard the first...sickneing MEWL. Now normally, cute and fluffy would have not bothered him this bad, but KITTEN UPON KITTEN!? He nearly screeched! The misty aura around his body began to redden, drawing on the Nightmares that the creature had stored up in his body, and he scrambled backwards as quickly as he could. Closing golden eyes, he concentrated on the vibrations in the floor through his bare feet, and the warmth of the veins pulsing dark FEAR through his face. Kala knew what he was doing.
Sort of.
He crouched on the ground, using sensitive finger-pads to help in his sensing of said evil little....THINGS. Hopefully, the other ghouls and boils would be alright as well...And his 'hard work' was rewarded, as a squirming ball of evil FLUFF rolled into his hands. Clamping a hand over its eyes, he looked up, letting his eyes rest. One kitten obtained! Looking across the room for a moment, he noted the corral, and let his eyes turn up again, using the sense of his feet to make it towards the pen. As soon as he was near it, he sighed in relief, dropping the damnable thing in its new home. Far away from him.
Kala hoped it got eaten.

WHAT WAS THAT?! LW felt a small growl rumble up her throat at the sight of...of...a hug-able bear? With glitter? Oh HELL no! She didn't trust that bear. And her nose was itching. There must have been glitter sniffed in when she scented the air. The feathers were about to drive her insane too. Waitaminute. Was that a doll? A very happy looking doll? In a pink dress?
"I think you're right." LW muttered to Faint. "And as much as I hate to say it, I would much rather being in the snow." The thought just made her shudder. The she-wolf so despised the snow. Faint did manage to pull a small giggle out of her. It was a little shaky, but still a giggle. "Maybe with enough feathers we can call you a gryphon?" Smiling, she glanced over at Demi. "Good. Let's stick together in case there's something...worse we haven't seen." LW didn't even want to think on things being worse yet. "Yes. Keep moving. Mo-" That doll had so moved. She swore it! And she'd met a living doll before. But this was different. "Moving. Quickly?!"
Faint's nudge was enough for her and she started forward, loosening her hold on the two boils. Letting go altogether was asking too much at the moment. Really, they were both lucky she hadn't jumped up on one of them yet. Like she would have had it been on of her besties.
"Yes. That place. Ren was there, you might remember him Faint. Gryphon boil that kept sneezing?" Violet eyes flashed over to the were-tiger then back at Demi. "Snow. Hate that stuff. So cold and uncomfortable."
They had barely made progress when something new was there to torment them. A very big something new. LW shamelessly clung to Faint, Demi sadly coming along with since she had not let go of him, then just stared. And when it spoke, she totally squeaked. Kittens? They had to do what with kittens? Catch them? Jack but they were so cute! Wait...that was not right. Cute. JACK! LW whined. "I-I just want to...cuddle them." But something told her not to run and snuggle with one. And those eyessss! Every time they looked at her she just...couldn't move. Finally releasing the boils (very slowly) LW attempted to grab one. Maybe.
-Caught!- It was like a game of freeze tag. She would stay frozen, then move towards them when they looked away. Frozen. Look away and creep forward. And finally she snagged one! LW avoided the kittens eyes altogether and carried it to one of the drop zones.

"It sounds like a FANTASTIC idea." he had a habit of emphasizing random emotional words, though the emotions never seemed to affect the mask of a grin he sported constantly.
They filtered into a large room and he had an urge, ruffling his wings in agitation, to perch on that statue's head and.. do what birds do best. Of course instincts were generally bad manners and the strix had been taught that early in life, despite how the thought of a poo splattered bunny statue amused him to no end. In fact he started to giggle to himself, a bit uncontrollably. When the giggle started to make him cough but he got control of himself before anything awful came up.
Soon though there were.. kittens. KITTENS. His wide eyes seemed to grow wider and he licked his lips a bit, his teeth clacking in anticipation. "What torture!" He exclaimed in a grating screech. He'd have to touch them but not eat?
They should have called it the HORRID HOUSE.
He rested a hand gently on Natalia's lower back. It was very gentlemanly yet still affectionate. "Whoooo can get more?" He clacked a friendly challenge to the lemur and with a screeeeeeeeeech spread his wings and swooped on a group of kittens!
The kittens, distracted from the their play, stared up at the strix and by some, awful terrifying magic he was frozen. They were AWFUL BEINGS!

That wasn’t his thought. Merope was jolted free of the cute and fuzzies to spin and stare at the mindflayer that stood near. He folded his arms across his chest and held himself tight, fins pressed against his back to make himself look smaller and more insignificant. “No,” he answered, “Though I do have an uncle who wears a shell. It’s much bigger, though.”
He wordlessly nodded greetings to those that approached to look at the raspberry-sized turtle before moving on, his eyes following them as they went. The children’s laughter, the toys, the traps -- he couldn’t help but to wince in sympathy as they were sprung, trapping the horror-inclined students beneath piles of joy.
Merope was quickly coming to regret his choice in visiting this place before anything else. The tricks and traps this place was springing upon him was making him even more miserable than he was before.
The undead boy had taken a step down the hallway before he paused, turning to squint and look at the mindflayer again. The thought sounded familiar. “...Riley? You look... different.” Observation of the week.
Merope took a deep breath and began to slowly walk down the hallway, carefully picking his way through the pile of stuffed animals that a trapped dumped onto a student earlier. He didn’t stop until he reached the puddle of feathers. There was no Jacking way he would walk through them. The feathers were too soft and colorful for him to even consider touching. Merope was a creature made out of Fear, not Joy and Cuddles and other things! He couldn’t figure out why others were able to tolerate it, to withstand the fact that the very environment was sapping their Fear away. It was a scary thought in and of itself.
As he stared at the colorful pile, an idea struck him. While they weren’t wings, he could at least use them for the same purpose. Merope spread his fins and began to gently flap them, blowing the feathers in front of him and out of his way. It had the adverse effect of kicking them up and into the air, but hey -- since he was the one blowing them, at least they weren’t landing on him.
Ultimately, this plan backfired as soon as he reached the chamber with the kittens. Their fuzzy little ears perked up and their eyes went wide as the colorful things danced in the air. Some of them abandoned whatever game they were playing to pounce and tackle the things, clenching the feathers between their little paws and nomming quite adorably on them.
Still other kittens found something even more fascinating. Their little pink tongues licked their little whiskers as their little noses twitched, scenting something quite delicious in the air. The heart-wrenchingly cute meows grew as they focused on Merope, tripping over each other and their own little paws in their haste to cuddle up against him. Some even succeeded in jumping and climbing up him to perch on his shoulders and purr, their little cold noses licking his fishy ear-fins.
For his part, Merope didn’t utter a sound as the small creatures cuddled up against him and showered him with their affections. Or tried to take a bite out of him. He did smell delicious to them, after all.

She walked. And she walked. And she turned a corner and continued to walk passing pictures and tiny sculptures here and there, grimacing at some while somewhat intrigued by others that caught her attention. It was only when they came to an opening that the monster slowed her steps until she stopped completely just before the bunny.
And at first, while art seemed to be a fad within the path that led them through the hallway...she sort of laughed at how large and obscuring this thing was.
What the hell was a giant statue of a rabbit doing in the middle of the room anyway? How queer...But as it turned and opened its arms and...just...
What the hell.
If there was a path beyond the object before them, Natalia could not see it. Her eyes went from bottom to top and back again, scanning the stone and reacting accordingly as it made bizarre motions.
And when it spoke...Or...well when someone spoke.
Oh, the monster had seen many very scary things in her life time, but this...a talking...well, what seemed to be a talking rabbit, made of stone, grinning, with a flood of kittens piling at her ankles--this was just too much. Too much to fret over and too much adorable to bear.
The kittens rolled and played at each students feet, several clawing at her jeans, mewling and batting at one another, finding their way onto her tail to bounce and play upon it...they were so cute...so...fluffy. It should have alarmed her that the floor beneath their feet no longer was made of wood--but of colorful kitten butts and faces and whiskers. She should have slowed her steady decent upon the creatures, as her knees bent and her hands reach out to touch one...
Muka's words went unnoticed as a single, beautiful, white cat turned sharply in her direction. Green eyes (or what she thought to be green) gazed into her own unblinking--beckoning her to stand still and to leave it be. For several seconds she was frozen in place, hands reaching out but unable to move in the least--listening to the commotion around her as waves of kittens continued to filter into the room.
It nearly took her breath away with how adorable that single gaze had been. The kitten looked away slowly, in the sequence Natalia could have sworn she saw sparkles and rainbows and pink lights flashing...
And then she was back in the room, chaos ensuing as students were carefully moving around, reaching for the adorable bundles of joy beneath their twitching fingers. The monster shook her head and drew back several feet, parting the sea of felines (thankfully) before bumping her back against Muka.
"Oh my jack..." The ghoul breathed, gripping at her chest as warmth spread throughout her entirety. "Hey, hey do not look into their eyes okay?! Just do not do it!" Turning her head to the left and right, she caught sight of Yuki-onna Demon, and the newly arrived LW with her band of boils at each arm. (none of which the lemur was familiar with)
There was no time to say hello now, not with a mission at hand. Shutting her eyes and bending forward for a second time, Natalia reached out with her hands and held her breath.
((PASS! Kittens caught: 1))
She couldn't tell which end she held, but in any case the monster turned her gaze away from the kitten in her grasp (whose eyes were dead set on the ghoul) and shuttled it toward the pen area where it was set down hurriedly.

"I.." He only made a squeaking voice and squeezed his eyes shut. But even without sight he could smell them and hear their adorable mewls. His body practically vibrated with their heart-melting purrs.
"They make me hungry." His voice sounded annoyed and slightly frustrated. His talons twitched as he stood back to back with Natalia. She seemed to have snagged one of the beasts.
The faster they penned these adorable abominations, the fast they could get out of here. Of course with his eyes squeezed shut he merely stood there swiping at air and not near to catching ANYTHING.

He cringed as he took another breath, kneeling on the balls of his feet. Clawed finger tips dug into the ground, as his eyes sealed shut once more. The Catcher's veins stood out, pumping adrenaline as he tried once again to catch another damn fluffball.
And he failed miserably. Opening his eyes, he found a pair of baby blues staring right into glowing yellows....finding himself immobilized.

The haunted house was supposed to be terrifying but Katlyn had her doubts. What could possibly be so scary about this building that trumps over the usual in Halloween Town? Plus, she did see her brother go inside with a group and this weretiger had it stuck in her mind that whatever her brother could do she could do just as well. With confidence oozing out of her she stepped into the haunted house, eyes flicking about from wall to wall.
Kitty's opinion seemed to change all to quickly, though, as her senses soaked in the horrific scene before her. Even the entrance room was grotesque and decorated in hideous pinks and sparkling glitter. At least the walls were a comforting cold stone. Wanting to catch up to her brother Faint as quickly as possible she glanced at her options. Up or down. There was only a fifty fifty chance of her getting the wrong direction so she went with her instincts, hoping it wouldn't steer her wrong.
She headed down the unusually preppy pink hall, starting with hesitant steps. She was slow, afraid of what might come along at the end of the winding walkway. The sounds of giggles and laughter seemed to arise from the floor boards. Kat began to pick up her pace, feeling her blood pumping as the laughter grew more auspicious. Soon the young girl was sprinting down the hallway, hating the fact that she came in alone.
"Faint?" she desperately cried out down the hall, listening to the echo of her own voice as it bounced of glitter and adorable pictures that made her sick. At long last she reached a room where others were gathered. She stood frozen as her eyes caught on a rather tall and hideously shaped statue. Was that a bunny? She felt herself heave slightly, sick to her stomach from all the horrifying sights she had been overwhelmed with. Still, she couldn't back out now. She had to prove to herself that she was brave enough to take this.
Katlyn shuffled into the crowd, slipping her hand over and locking her grip tight on her big brother's fingers. "Faint, gosh, I'm so glad I caught up to you..." she smiled, trying not to seem so worked up but the slight sweat she had and the way her eyebrows furrowed barely gave away her distress.
The pale strawberry-blond female turned her golden orbs up to the statue as omnipresent voice filled the room, leaving it's instructions. Just as the holes opened up in the sides of the horrifically pink walls she momentarily gripped Faint's hand all the more. "Faint?" she gave a hesitant whisper, feeling her knees begin to shake from the anticipation. Whatever was lying in the dark was nothing that could have been remotely pleasing.
Kittens. Kittens upon kittens poured from the walls and she hissed subconsciously at their cuteness. Still, it wasn't as bad as she had expected. At least they weren't bunnies. Kat loosened her grip on her older brother's hand and soon released him completely. "This shouldn't be... to bad," she tried to remain confident, realizing that in this moment her bro and her had something of an advantage.
Softly she called out to the little domesticated kittens, coaxing them to come closer. Speaking a domesticated language was much more complex to her. She only knew feral speech, more closely related to lions and tigers. "Come on, come here," she spoke in a shaky voice, hopping back whenever a kitten waddled it's unstable body passed her leg. She finally bit her lip and put on her determined face, reaching down with her eyes squinted shut and hoping that the scoop of her hand would catch up something.
-MISS- Unfortunately the the drag of her fingers through the hair came up with little to nothing in her hands. Perhaps it was best if she kept her eyes open while fishing for felines.
