Chakra Guard: I am hesitant to allow a B-rank technique completely nullify an A rank technique. Say you Chakra Guard your arm and are hit with a large fireball, only your hand would be protected right? This is assuming the fireball is larger than the human body and your 'Guarded' arm is extended towards it.

Chakra Purge:
What if the poison has already had time to spread throughout the body or has activated without the Konaga knowing. Would attempting this technique still provide a defense against the poison/toxin/pathogen.

Also a Purge to the head should at least seriously hamper mental functions along with dizziness and double vision. I mean it can render an entire limb limp, I would think an application to the head would be very serious and debillitating.

Chakra Shift: If chakra is also circulating through the brain and nervous system, I would consider allowing the Konaga to see everything in Bulletime. However, to me it reads like someone using a Sharingan and the Speed Combat ability while the user is at Jounin rank, allowing them to cross a great distance in an instant. I mean, if used properly a Stealthed Assassin Konaga could use this to instantly close the distance to a Sensor (or an ordinary non-sensor) and kill them on the spot, especially if they Sensor is preoccupied.

However the penalty makes it a little more bearable. Let me have some more time to think this one over.

Chakra Overload: Would shinobi with the Strong-Will, Endurance, or Toughness attribute have a better chance of 'ignoring' the pain, thus allowing them to post where pain would immobilize them.

Also how much would the pain effect their concentration and skills during the first post and after the third post?

Chakra Guard: Considering most Chuunin will have in some way ranked up their Taijutsu by 1 rank... thus making all B-ranked abilities A-ranks effectively, I don't think this is that bad for a skill you only acquire at Sp. Jounin. Plus the negative impacts speak for themselves.

Chakra Purge: They pretty much have to catch it the instant it is administered (one post following inital contact), so there is no method for catching it after the fact. As for the head purge... I was thinking more superficial purges... for skin deep lacerations. However I gues we could impose a -1 rank to evasion as well.

Chakra Shift: First off, Konaga receive a -1 rank to effective stealth rank and doubled ranges already. And yeah, an Assassin using this ability is dangerous, but the second they initiate the movement, they leave stealth. Its not indefensible.

...but yes, essentially they see in bulletspeed like the Sharingan does for that brief movement period... and its even faster then the Burst Combat Ability.

Chakra Overload: I guess maybe strong willed could break out of the effects one post earlier. Not thee others though. Toughness and Endurance would have no effect on internal pain.

As to what they can accomplish, the answer is not much. This more or less incapacitates their ability to do anything... aside from maybe feebily dodge techniques. Its not particularly easy to pull off though... and the user pays a high price and can't use ninjutsu himself.

Chakra Guard: Alright, I can understand that. However against a large (the size of a human body or bigger) ninjutsu technique on the Guarded portion of the body will be unharmed, the technique shouldn't outright cancel the technique on contact with the Guarded limb and leave the body unharmed.

I know you never said that it could do that, but I would like that to be clear in the description at least.

Chakra Purge: -1 rank to evasion will work. Once you make the edits, I can approve it.

Chakra Shift: Hmm, I'm really only worried about the options a victim to this technique would have, especially if they are not a sensor. It can literally allow a Konaga to drive a weapon into an enemies brain if they are within 150 feet from the user. And because the Konaga effectively dissappears from sight and all senses there is no way to see them coming even if you were staring directly at them.

Would reducing the Bulletspeed Perception to a level where they would not be able to carefully calculate their attack or easily accomodate for an attack they did not see coming during the Shift be possible? I know the technique is already risky for a Konaga but in the right hands/situation, this could be used for an auto-hit/auto-kill.

Chakra Overload: Okay, so those who have Strong-Willed as an Secondary or Primary Attribute can break out of the effects one post earlier. If we both agree on this then once you make the edits I can approve it.

Name: Katon: Hibashiri [Fire Release: Racing Flames]
Rank: D
Range: Close to Mid
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Elemental Affinity: Katon - Fire
Description: After performing several hand-signs the user of this technique will create at their feet or hands a small flame that will rapidly expands and shoots forth according to how the user molds their chakra, since guiding this flames along the ground not only consumes chakra but also requires the user to . This fire will travel in rapidly moving jets which will race towards the target and surround them in a ring of intense flames. While this technique is usually perform on the ground so as to limit the movement of the target, it can also be done in a mid-air spin, forming the fire from the user's limb into a ring that can be shot towards the target. So long as the user maintains the final hand-sign of this technique they will be able to direct this fire anywhere within the range limits[10 meters] of the technique, even splitting the traveling flame into multiple branches form the original source of fire. These fires can easily rise above the height of a normal person even from being created with a very small initial flame, and The flames should be hot enough to inflict second degree burns on contact with flesh and heat up a metal weapon to a point where the victim is forced to release it.

Description: After performing several hand-signs the user will inhale deeply and fill their lungs with a large mass of condensed fire elemental chakra. Upon release, a projectile of fire shaped like a large football (the size of a Television) will be launched outwards and traveling at very high speeds(the same rank as the users speed). Upon contact this projectile impacts heavily against the fire obstruction then leaves a wide scar of flames along the surface. These flames leave first degree burns on contact and second degree burns on detonation. Moisture is evaporated during detonation.

What makes this technique unique is that as the user becomes stronger and ranks up, the technique becomes deadlier. By the rank of Sp, Jounin, the scar of fire left on the enemy will then erupt into an explosion that rivals several explosive tags. A Jounin can launch multiple projectiles, up to three. Finally an S-ranked shinobi will be able to launch up to five, enlarged projectiles of fire capable of delivering second and third degree burns. Using this technique alongside a wind technique can alter the projectile for fire until it takes on the form of the wind technique. For example if caught in a tornado, these projectiles would be launched from the tornado in the form of high-speed, miniature twisters capable of carving through solid stone and leaving swaths of fire.

Jutsu Type: Genjutsu//Supplementary
Description: Kyoushin allows the user to trip the opponent into seeing an attack, Ninjutsu or otherwise, about four to five inches off its true course. Because of the slight difference in actual spatial orientation as compared to perceived spatial orientation, an opponent will usually block in an inappropriate location and allow the user to strike the opponent effectively. This Genjutsu is activated once the appropriate hanseals have been initiated but the user must be within 10 meters of their opponent.. The C-Ranked variation pushes the perceived attack to a maximum of a foot away from its actual orientation, allowing for a greater margin of error from the opponent. The B-Ranked variation pushes the attack up to three feet away.

Name: Konsui [Corpse Sleep]

Jutsu Type: Genjutsu
Description: In the first post after the initiated of the Genjutsu, the opponent will feel nothing. It will be as if they are not under a Genjutsu at all. In the second post after the initiation of the Genjutsu, the target will begin to feel sleepy, fatigued, tired, and lethargic. In the third post after the initiation, if the Genjutsu is not broken, the opponent will fall asleep for a period of one post which can give the user a powerful chance to either attack or defend. In some highly suggestive individuals, this technique can cause them to enter REM sleep at which time they will usually rest for a maximum of six hours [this ability will only be used for story purposes under the stipulation that all parties involve agree to the terms]. This Genjutsu is rather hard to break as sleep and lethargic individuals are highly unlike to notice they're under a Genjutsu. Or, really, notice anything in particular at all. Initiated through touch or eye-contact.

Name: Yoen Dizorubu [Burning Ember Dissolve]

Range: 5 meters
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu
Description: This technique provides the user with the ability to lock eyes with an opponent and then initiate a Genjutsu used for escape and distraction purposes. After making eye contact with the opponent, the user will suddenly burst into a shower of bright orange embers. The true user will escape, traveling to a different location, while the embers continue to shift and fall with presently occurring weather phenomena and wind patterns. Breaking the Genjutsu only causes the embers to disappear and does not necessarily give away the position of the user.

Jutsu Name: Shishigami Ninpo: Heavenly Flame Fist

Jutsu Type: Nin - Private

Jutsu Rank: D-S

Jutsu Description: The second jutsu in the Shishigami line-up, the Heavenly Phoenix isn't more powerful, per say, just bigger than the Double Palm Thrust. As any Elemental master knows, there are fewer places where a Katon Master can benefit from being surrounded by their element. As such, a jutsu was devised to alleviate that particular issue. The jutsu's strength isn't what it does, but what it can be followed up by. As with all of the jutsus within the Shishigami arsenal, the attack is simply a melee attack with fire added on, caused by a combination of chakra control and katon control. The combination causes a flare of fire to erupt from the user's fist. If aimed at a shinobi and either simply dodged or blocked with a jutsu (Neither Great Kai Punch or Suiton), half of the fire required for the +2 benefit will be placed on the field from the effects and fallout of the jutsu. If completely avoided, roughly 3/4th of the required fire for the benefit is placed on the field.

Why is the technique ranged from D-S rank, does the amount of fire grow the more chakra you put into the technique? In that case you should have a table to show the amount of chakra and how it relates to the amount of fire released into the enviroment.

Also were you trying to say Great Kai Punch/Suiton techniques are ineffective against this technique? Why is that? If anything Suiton should neutralize this technique.

And is this an explosive burst of fire or is just actual fire that only burns the opponent. Also this Taijutsu attack is intended to miss, so you can create enough fire for your Katon Elemental Mastery Bonus? Because that would take alot more fire than just a D-rank technique.

Also because this technique, after consecutive uses, can effectively increase you Fire techniques to an entirely new level it should have a pretty steep cost. Bump the rank to B-rank and add a cooldown [3-5 posts]. We'll go on from there.

Heavenly Phoenix is a Gate-Way jutsu, only intended to be used once or twice during a fight. The strength of the jutsu increases with rank, as with every multi-rank jutsu, but the fire fallout doesn't. The explosion causes a burst of fire. I was saying that Great Kai/Suiton null this attack, as with the Double Palm Thrust due to the nature of the attack to avoid confusion. The ranks increases the power of the jutsu, but that's it. The fallout numbers would stay the same.

I'm going to go ahead and rule that in order to get enough Fire on the Field to allow your Elemental Mastery effect to kick in to Plus 2... you're going to have to use it three times, in three dedicated posts of using this technique regardless of rank.

...I don't think this is unfair, due to the incredible buff +2 is to your jutsu rank.

Also, as Martin stated, if you're going to create a multi-rank... it's got to have separate values and damage equivalents SPELLED OUT in the jutsu description. It cannot be as vague as "Its stronger by rank"

Jutsu Name: Mizu no Ai (Water Love)

Jutsu Rank: D-B

Use: Public , can be utilized or learned by anyone.

Range: Personal

Type: Ninjutsu

Element: Suiton

Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user is able to create water using their own chakra as the initial source. When used, the user's chakra is released from their torso and arms, which when coming into contact with the air, draws on and enhances the moisture present there. Water then explodes into existence off of the shinobi and into the air where it levitates around them, enabling them to use water jutsu with the newly created source.

The more chakra put into the technique, the more water can be created. Though this technique does not produce near as much water as the Suishouha or Gekiryuu Chikara techniques, it is capable of producing enough water of the appropriate rank for the user to use his Suiton techniques. Additionally, since the water is already created at this point, the next Suiton ninjutsu used with the water created will not have a Stamina cost.

(Note: Creating a B-rank of water will not allow a user to produce multiple D/C-rank jutsu Stamina-free. If you create a B-rank amount of water, it will alleviate the stamina cost of the next B-rank or lower ninjutsu used, ONLY)

[Example : A Genin might be able to use this technique to make enough water for a Mizu bunshin, or Mizu shuriken technique, while a Jounin would be able to use it to create enough water for a water barrier...though it would require a decent amount of chakra (7 chakra/5 Stamina to create the water... then whatever the technique costs, in chakra alone).]

Type: Ninjutsu

Description: This a technique somewhat similar to Mizu No Ai, but instead of using their own chakra to produce water, the shinobi will absorb and condense surrounding moisture and use that to perform a jutsu up to C-rank (without Stamina cost). Water can be absorbed from anywhere, plants, soil, or even the air. This technique also has the added affect of making whatever object it has drained of water very brittle and easy to be shattered or broken. (Cannot be used to draw water from living creatures.)

[Example: If used on a Mokuton technique, this technique would extract a C-rank amount of water and it would make the wood weaker and more brittle. Also, since you've removed the 'water' aspect of the technique, it is now a purely earth-based technique, so the C-rank technique you use against it with the water you collected will be more effective]

Jutsu Name: Yuuhei no Jutsu (Confinement Technique)

Jutsu Rank: A

Use: Public , can be utilized or learned by anyone.

Range: Short, 0-3m

Type: Ninjutsu

Element: Suiton

Description: A much deadlier and more complex form of the Prison jutsu, upon completion of the necessary hand seals, the user is able to surround and trap it's opponent in a sphere filled with water which is nearly inescapable. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep one arm inside the bubble at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned.

This jutsu cannot be performed without a sufficiently large body of water nearby as it requires the constant flow of water and chakra to maintain. The user inside is trapped, has difficulty moving, is unable to utilize typical seal-required jutsu, and cannot breathe, eventually suffocating in the sphere. (After 5 posts, the user inside the bubble loses consciousness, and on the post following, they will drown.)

Gekiryuu Chikara (Raging River Force):
Using this technique, a Suiton user of significant power can, if no sufficiently large body of water is close by, reach into the very earth itself and draw forth immense amounts of ground water to come surging forth in a stream of raging water toward his opponent(s). This technique's strength is strong enough not only to sweep up any enemies in it's path, but is also capable of tearing down most stone walls and defenses (A-rank and lower), and will likely break bones in the primary target and poses great danger to those being swept away by it.

Using his chakra to feed the water, the user can then amplify the water already present to generate more water, producing enough water to flood a 200 sq. foot area up to about 4 feet deep. The amount that can be produced in the desert is reduced by to 25% of the value above, and the damage decreased significantly.

Jutsu Name: Blizzard Swallow
Jutsu Rank: B
Jutsu Description: Just like it's predecessor, Tsubame Fubuki, the user creates swallows out of ice. Unlike the original, these swallows are much larger and faster, around two feet long and a foot tall. Using this technique, the user creates up to three swallows, which last up to two posts.

Jutsu Type: Nin
Jutsu Name: Ice Manipulation
Jutsu Rank: E-S
Jutsu Description: Like the name suggests, this technique allows the ninja to manipulate their Hyouton Ice. This technique is gained once the bloodline is awakened and the user has trained the fifteen posts needed to master it. This technique allows the user to manipulate their ice, up to a certain level, allowing the user to create, and expand ice to a shape which they desire.
E rank: A maximum of 2 feet.
D rank: A maximum of 4 feet.
C rank: A maximum of 8 feet.
B rank: A maximum of 12 feet.
A rank: A maximum of 15 feet.
S rank: A maximum of 20 feet.
Note: The user can only use up to one rank above them when it comes to the manipulation, in other words, a Genin can use up to C rank, a Chunin up to be and so on. Also, this technique can be melted by Katon jutsu one rank bellow them, since it isn’t as powerful as the normal Ice used on the Hyouton Jutsu.

Jutsu Name: Claws of Ice
Jutsu Rank: D - B
Jutsu Description: Focusing their chakra on to their hands, the user Is able to create up to five claws of ice, each one up to a foot long. This ice is strong enough to cut through Wood at D rank, through Iron at C rank, and is able to dent steel at B rank. The claws can be adjusted to do the amount of damage the user wishes by paying the needed amount of chakra, and consequently, they can be shattered by whatever the other rank can cut; D rank can be destroyed by Iron, C and B rank by steel. These claws last up to five posts, but the user can pay chakra equivalent to one rank under the decried power to keep them active for 3 more posts.

Jutsu Name: Blade of Ice
Jutsu Rank: D-B
Jutsu Description: The user creates a blade of ice which is at par in strength with most normal steel blades. By paying a D rank equivalent of chakra, the user is able to create a blade up to two feet in length, by paying a C rank amount of chakra, the user is able to create up to a four foot katana, and by paying a B rank equivalent, the user can create a large cleaver. This blade is also able to freeze any suiton jutsu it comes in contact with by paying the same amount of chakra as the jutsu that is being frozen. Maximum rank: A rank.

How can I hate anyone who is offering to add jutsu to one of my favorite elements?! Haha, I don't mind working on jutsu, honestly. Though I think I am a little too restricting, sometimes xp

Mizu no Ai: So pretty much the user can only create enough water for a single use technique at their rank or below or can a Chuunin create a B-rank amount of water and use multiple C-rank techniques?

Ijou Shikke: How would this affect a Mokuton technique or a Plant Manipulation technique? Is the user able to draw water from them?

Yuuhei no Jutsu: How long before the victim drowns within the bubble or falls unconscious? Also in the last sentence you said the user inside is trapped but I think you meant the victim/opponent smile

Because this jutsu is a trap-type jutsu and a very high ranking one, I have decided that the only way to escape (aside from some sort of omidirectional blast derived from a named technique such as the Hyuga's Heavenly Spin) is for an ally to force the user to remove his hand from the water prison.

Gekiryuaa Chikara: This cannot be used in the desert without some sort of charge, maybe one or two posts. Also what type of damage do you think this would inflict on those caught within? Broken bones? Or will it be limited to brusing?

Suirou no Jutsu: It will take longer to drown the user (just to show that this is a lower ranked technique). It's not too different from the Confinement technique, though :/

Maybe this one should be easier to escape?

Mizo no Ai: Pretty muuch, you would only make enough water for a jutsu at your rank. I think using B-rank chakra/stamina to get w Cranks wouldn't be right. You can make C-rank water for C-rank jutsu and B-rank for B jutsu.

Ijjou Shike: yes user can use this on Mokuton technique... it would make then weaker and more brittle, and if you remove the water, the wood (being only left with the earth element infused) would be weak against the water technique used.

Yuuhei no Jutsu: Ill edit it, but Id say about 5 post until unconscious and additional 1 until dead.

...and yeah, not easily escaped from. Ill add those in the description.


Gekiryuaa Chikara: Sure Ill put a desert limktation on it, but definitely capable of breaking bones.

Suirou no Jutsu: Actually the user doesn't drown in this version... they're just caught. The B-rank is the one Zabuza used on Kakashi. The A-rank is the one Kisame used on Gai's team.
