Seeing that there was just one yellow piece left, Aksaja decided to try for that, since the others had been doing pretty well getting almost all of them out. Though it was risk too, as he'd just seen several people get shocked trying to remove the yellows.
Still, they had to finish this! Leaning over the board, the lightning dragon reached carefully for that last piece . . .
But his hand twitched just at the wrong time, and there was the now-familiar BZZZZTT noise as he was shocked. Backing up with a muttered curse, Aksaja massaged at his hand, trying to get feelings back into the fingers. He was pretty sure that if he got shocked again, he'd be out. Damn.

They were getting close...so close now! Only a few more pieces to go. Astra looked at Tybalt and Askaja worriedly when they failed to remove the last Yellow piece And opted to try and help them remove it. Again she held her breath as she leaned in with her tweezers...
"Pheww..thats all the yellow ones removed" The fairy held up the last yellow piece, watching it as it successfully disapated into the air.
Now, it was only the hard ones left...

Recovering from her previous failure, she went for a pink piece, holding her breath as she reached for it with her tweezers. Carefully, she removed it successfully, and the FEAR in the pocket dissipated, prompting a silent 'yay' from her as she heaved a sigh of relief; she thought she was going to fail it again!

Just that pesky green piece left now. The same one that had gotten him shocked several times already . . . but they couldn't give up NOW. Even if he was close to falling over and not getting up again, he had to try. Taking a deep breath, Aksaja reached for the piece with the tweezers. "Here goes nothin' . . ."
But it seemed that the green piece just wasn't going to be his today. The BZZZZT rang out into the room, and the lightning dragon's body went completely stiff, then jerked around a few times as electricity coursed through it. Then he took maybe two steps back away from the game board, murmured, "S-sorry guys . . . " and fell over onto the floor, still twitching a bit, even as he slipped into unconsciousness.

"Aksaja!" She couldn't help reaching for the boil as he collapsed, since it was a reflex action; as much as she didn't really like him, he was still a classmate and the only reason he collapsed was because he was trying as hard as the next student to pass. However, she hesitated, looking at his body, now on the ground; this is an exam. Nurse Cricket would have seen this coming, right...?
She frowned slightly, casting the nurse a side glance before turning back to the game board; there was only one piece left... After removing that, this exam would be over and even the fall (now only Aksaja) would pass. That green piece was probably the most difficult to remove, seeing how nobody had dared to try it yet... Not that they would have a choice now.
Focusing, she tried to steady her hand as she reached for the green piece with her tweezers. When she was going to tr pulling it out, however, her hand brushed against the board, resulting in a loud 'BZZZZZZZZZZZT' followed by a yelp of pain from her; the pain was intensifying! She was sure that she wasn't imagining it... Ugh, her next failure might be her last then... She was starting to feel a little odd already.

Tybalt winced when Aksaja got knocked out cold. It looked painful. Very painful, and obviously bad enough that these zaps were able to knock people out and now... The only problem was, it was that damn green piece left.
Go figure.
Biting his lower lip, Tybalt moved in to try his luck once more, only this time with the green piece. Though to be honest he didn't want to and as much as he tried to still his hand, it still shook; both from nerves and from the numbness and pain that was present. It was a wonder that he even got the tweezers through the open space, much less that he actually pulled that sucker free.
"I-I got it...!" He said, stunned as he stared at the piece pinched between the tweezers.

Cricket looked over those who were still sitting up, sighing a bit. Clearly she hadn't made things hard enough for them. Then again... "For the record..." she said, speaking slowly as she reached out and picked up the board, the pieces resetting inside of it. For a moment, it seemed she wasn't going to finish her thought until the took the board and flipped it upside down, shaking it a bit. "This was a viable option to solve this particular game in a quicker and less painful manner. You need to remember to think outside of what obvious solution I have given you." With that, she took a moment, paused, and went "...Oh yes. On that note. I guess I can remove that buffer now..." she grinned widely. The surge of numbness to follow would cause even the most diligent of student to pass out only to wake hours later, laying on the cots that were in Cricket's office. For the four who had remained conscious, much to Cricket's chagrin, they would wake up with the nurse's emblem in their hand. It would probably be wise to not try to have the nurse actually vouch for them, however. The OOC Phew! That went on longer than expected (Not your fault, I just didn't realize I set it up to last so long! GASP!!). Your exam is over! You guys can go post to get your year-2 art now! WOO WOO!
