{Event} The Game Tables (CLOSED, AUCTION SATURDAY!)

The next table nearby had a few slot machines that had shiny glowy handles that begged to be pulled.

And who was Damien to deny something shiny?

So he hunkered himself down, enjoying the plush feeling of the chair that basically said "stay a while and play" before pulling the handle.

(Slots, try 2)

The images on the screen flashed by before stopping abruptly, one of each in the three boxes before asking if he wanted to try again.

As if it had to ask, he pulled the lever once again.

This time there were two matching spiderwebs that light up like the fourth of October before two chips came sliding out to greet the hell hound before asking yet again if he wanted to play.

"Well, if your going to give me chips, sure!" he cried out before giving it an eager tug.

The slot machiene had other ideas when it landed on three different pictures before resetting itself for the next round.

oddly enough it didn't ask its standard question before the hound gave it another tug and one for good measure after the reels were spinning.

Once again the reels did its dance before landing on the pictures, two of which were in the same place as last time.

as if mocking Damien who only growled at the machiene before it began again, without a tug.

"GIMME MORE CHIPS YOU!"

once again it gave nothing back in return before shutting off. the disgruntled boil gave it a tug to see if it would run but to no avail.

he would have to come back later for more chances but for now his legs were well rested and ready again to hit the floor as he walked off, his pockets heavier than when he came in.

If there was ever a good place to look for a certain incubus, it was undoubtedly the game room. The oft-bored demon lived for instant gratification and constant entertainment, and while the socializing of Prom held its own delights, the call of minipets was enough to coax Altair from the decorated hall and into the brightly lit casino. Ah, enough places to sink his silver to satisfy the biggest gambling addict.

Flicking his tail, the incubus cheerily headed over to the slots to give the lever a pull and try his luck. His golden eyes never quite left that prize table, though, already coveting the shiny minipets that he had yet to obtain on his arduous task of avoiding real work and collecting every last beastie. As the spinning numbers came to a stop, his attention was re-attracted by the little jingling fanfare that played. Sweet, he'd gotten something!

Energized by his win, the incubus pulled the lever a second time, his attention briefly distracted by the sound of a female voice behind him-- oh jack, was that his date, come to make him go be... dately? The incubus glanced over his shoulder, scanning the game room, relaxing a little when he didn't see anything untoward. It wasn't that she wasn't hot, but he had to get his gaming in!!

When the slots stopped spinning and landed on three different numbers, Altair growled, rubbing his hands together and spitting into one for luck.

Surely the third try had to be the charm, right? Altair yanked hard on the lever. C'mon, c'mon. His eyes stared at the spinning reels as if by will alone he could get them to line up on 666. ....okay, not so much.  

[Leipir]

At his fourth attempt, Altair braced a foot on the side of the slot machine for his pull, after surreptitiously glancing around to make sure that no one could see him abusing the equipment. Especially after it was a null spin and he kicked it viciously.

"If you don't want that to happen again, you'd better pay up," he sneered at the slot machine. The slot machine, as expected, made no reply. It did, however pay up, and the incubus pocketed the chips he'd made for the moment, before rising from the chair with a final kick at the machine before he moved on to other games.

Sticking his hands in his pockets, the incubus sauntered up to the next table, fingering the chips he'd earned idly. He cocked an eyebrow, watching a few rolls of the wheel, and stepped up, picking up one of the balls.

"C'mon ball, daddy needs a new shiny," he muttered to it, rubbing it between his palms before he gave it a toss. When it landed nowhere decent, he made a face. Fine, no loss.

His next roll was decidedly more aggressive, alas with similarly failtastic results. It didn't seem to be that easy of a game. For a moment his eyes glowed, wondering if there was some way of manipulating the outcome...

Altair's roll was so gentle that it hardly bounced at all. His aggressive tactic hadn't worked, so maybe a gentle touch would help? APPARENTLY NOT. Fine, fine. There was still one more chance to win epic amounts of chips, he could do this...

One final try. Altair stood over the roulette wheel, holding his ball. He didn't dare hold his breath. After this, he'd be forced to sneak back out to the dance floor and see what was going on. He had to make this one count. Giving it a toss, he watched the ball with bated breath, biting his nails as it bounced close to 50... and then didn't stay there.

Ughh. He'd have to come back later. No luck...  

[Inu-Mitsu]

During the event Mitsu had decided to take a break and play a few games. That's what Shun had decided to do anyway. Looking around for a moment she spotted the slot machines. They looked simple enough to try. Taking a seat she looked over the thing carefully before tentatively reaching up to pull the handle.

Well her first roll hadn't gone so well but it seemed she was allowed to try again. It was worth a shot.
