The thought of vegetable flavored eyescream sounded terrible to the dragon. Maybe some plant eater would like that but he was kind of revolted by the thought. Vegetables. Blech.
He snapped out of his thoughts as he saw Lizzy's reaction to the steak eyescream and he couldn't help but feel amused. Letting out a laugh, he went on and pulled his cup back towards himself. Jericho felt even more amused when the poor demon ended up giving herself brainfreeze from trying to wash out the steak flavor.
"Careful there Lizzy," he chuckled while taking a bite of his frozen treat.
"By the way... what's with the whole 'Mr. Jericho' deal? Hm?"

"I-I'm okay!" She twitched, raising a hand in a 'stop' motion before sighing, rubbing her temples, "Not doing that again... Your warning came late." She managed a grin before giggling at his comment.
Ah yes.
"Well, Christof referred to you as Mr Jericho on groanspring, when asking if we were attending prom together," She explained, her grin widening as she threatened to giggle again, "I just... Found it amusing for you to be addressed that way... Mr Jericho."

Jericho chuckled a little more before shaking his head.
"Christof said that?" he said, surprised to hear this. While things had gotten better between him and the Igor, he didn't expect to be called that. That and he was kind of surprised that he'd ask specifically if he and Lizzy were going together. Then again, they did go to Scarentines together. Perhaps that's where he got the idea from.
"I see I see," he grinned, "By the way, are you going to the Prom at all?"

"He did," She grinned, "Said it was polite... I'm still not used to reading 'Miss Lizzy', especially since it's from someone near my age, though. He wouldn't stop it, so I just let him continue..."
Pausing, she nodded again, grinning as she swallowed some more eyescream, "Of course! Wouldn't miss it for Halloween~ I'm quite excited actually!" Another paused followed as she raised an eyebrow, looking thoughtful, "And you?"

It was a little strange, but he supposed it made sense for the igor to do stuff like that. Even so, he had to wonder if Christof ever called him such before open house.
... Probably not is what he was guessing.
"Oh? Nice," He grinned, "Yeah I'll be going. Who you going with?"

"Ohh? You didn't seem like the party type to me... Going with Riley and Malodore as their escort?" She was teasing, of course, judging from her tone, although the word 'escort' is now ruined for her, in her head. Way to go!
"Who? Someone awesome," She giggled, blushing slightly as she leaned back against her seat, tapping the spoon in her hand against the sundae cup absentmindedly, "I'm going with Mot~ He was nice enough to say yes... Although I'm curious. If I had asked you to go with me as my partner, would you have agreed?"

Though Jericho raised an eyebrow at the way she had said that, he grinned and shrugged some.
"You could say that. I see myself as more of a ... bodyguard for them. Never know when some stray kelpie might try to antagonize them."
By them he mainly meant Riley since he never saw Calder giving Malodore any grief.
At the next few statements, Jericho's eyes lit up. He wasn't too familiar with Mot, but knew him from the fitness club. The guy didn't seem like a bad one.
"That's pretty sweet," he grinned, "And yeah I probably would. I mean I've gone with you to a dance before and that wasn't too bad."

"... Ah, Calder?" She frowned, tilting her head; he's the only kelpie she had met so far, and while the boat trip and an incident where he had climbed into her room to 'igor' for her on Christof's instructions had caused her to be less worried about his little 'problem', she knew that he could be quite... Difficult to deal with at times.
Accompanied with Riley's rather easy to trigger rage meter and who knows what other problems judging from how she had tried to kill them on the island and during paintball? Bad news for sure.
"Would be a nice world to be in if there's no need to fight over little arguments constantly," She mused before chuckling lightly, "You have your work cut out for you, huh? Do control yourself too though~" She really does want prom to be an enjoyable night for everyone involved... Without the use of pink elephant-inducing punch.
She was a sober witness to that terrible party...
"You would?" She smiled as she finished up her sundae, pushing the now empty cup to the side of the table, "That makes me happy! You know, I feel compelled to tell you why I've been acting a little weirdly around you since Scarentine... Mr Jericho, I had a crush on you."
Oh wow, she actually said it... Don't flail, don't flail, don't-
"The keyword here is had," She couldn't resist stressing on the word as she blushed, feeling nervous all of a sudden as she started twirling a lock of her hair around a finger. It suddenly took some effort to maintain eye contact, but she somehow managed to do it, "But yeah... Does that explain a lot of things?" She chuckled softly.

"Yep. That's the one," he said while nodding to her regarding who he was referencing. Calder was a troublesome to deal with to be sure, at least when it came to him and Riley being in the same room together.
"I'll try to. Wouldn't really do to end up wrecking the party for people," he said with a light chuckle while finishing up his eyescream as well. Jericho was still listening to Lizzy and when she mentioned she had a crush on him he paused, wondering if he had misheard that. Looking up at her, it seemed that he didn't mishear her.
"Really?" He asked, feeling a little confused. Though, thinking back it did indeed kind of explain a few things regarding the spider demon.
"Huh."
Well that also kind of explains what Mac was hinting at when he came by the other day. Though, if Lizzy was going to say it anyway, what was the big deal with being all cryptic and confusing and stuff? Weird.

"I'll be legit angry and upset if you ruin prom because of Calder," She raised an eyebrow before chuckling lightly, "I doubt anything too bad will happen though. I'm just looking forward to a good time!" After all, it's going to be her first prom!
"Really," She replied in a deadpan manner before breaking into a smile, leaning back against her seat again while giggling, "Well, you're taking this news easier than expected! If I didn't know any better, I would say you already knew about this." Which is impossible, given how Mac is the only one she told.
Unless he told him. Which... Would sadden her actually. So much for promises.

"Actually, no I didn't" he replied, "I was just thinking back and whatnot. It does explain a few things."
Jericho chuckled lightly at that then shook his head in amusement.
"Aside from the way you've acted sometimes, Mac did kind of mention it sorta. He didn't say it outright, but after asking me what I thought of you, he said something along the lines of 'so you don't know then?' He never explained what he meant by that," he added.

"Uh, was I really that obvious?" She couldn't resist asking before breaking into a grin, her tone teasing as she continued, "And you still couldn't figure it out! You need a lesson in the language of ghouls, Mr Jericho." She giggled, but that was cut short as she frowned at Jericho's next comment.
"Mac did?" Her frown deepened slightly as she tilted her head, like she didn't quite believe the dragon. Then again, Jericho had no reason to lie to her... Trying not to dwell to much on that though, she managed a small smile and a light chuckle, "So, how did you answer him? Or is that a secret between boils?" She was teasing.

"What can I say? I thought you were just really friendly or something," Jericho chuckled before tilting his head as he saw her frown. There was still something a little weird going on with the whole secret thing, but he just shrugged it off.
"I just said that you're a really nice girl who has her quirks," he grinned.

"Really? But I don't cling to boils that much... Do I?" She raised an eyebrow, feeling a wee bit self-conscious as she tried to think back to all the times she had clung to a boil. Eyes widening slightly, she then quickly added, "Aside from Mac, I mean!" She really did not know why she's so attached to that mean, grumpy, promise-breaking reaper.
"Oh, well, thank you for your compliment!" She giggled, the faintest hint of a blush on her cheeks as she smiled, "And you're a strong and loyal dragon who can be rather oblivious, but a good friend nonetheless~ Oh, and you have a really loud voice."

Jericho was just about to mention Mac. He had seen Lizzy clinging to that boy quite a bit in the past, which had him kind of wonder what that was all about if she wasn't like that with boys in general. In any case, he didn't think on it.
"You're welcome," he smiled before letting out a soft chuckle, "And thanks to you too. My loudness has come in handy a few times though hasn't it?"
