Mitsu tried to think, how had she gotten to the mini-pet store before? It had certainly been after quite a few twists and turns and bad directions. The lupine really should have remembered land marks. That was the only way she managed to get to her dorm room every night.
"I don't think its far." What had that old mummy man told her? Passed the Lane of Despair and across from cafe that sold jellied brains? Or was it the other way around....huff puff.
After a moment of hesitation Mitsu turned left down another street. "I..I seem to remember there being a body parts place not far from it." Which looked a lot like a auto shop but in fact had body parts for the undead within.

While they walked on through town, Shun looked about to get a feel for where everything was. He wasn't completely familiar with this area yet after all. However, he couldn't help but feel they were taking a rather.. roundabout way for some reason.
Raising an eyebrow at the girl, he looked around to try and see if he could spot a body parts place nearby. As far as he could see, there weren't any.
"I don't see one," he said, "You sure we're going the right way?"

The longer they walked the more lost Mitsu felt. Obviously she didn't know this area any better than Shun did. When he asked if she was sure they were going in the right direction she paused, ears twitching a bit as she looked around before they drooped to the side of her head. "N..no." Nothing looked familiar at all. "I..I'm sorry...I thought I did." She should have known better though, her sense of direction was severely handicapped.
Looking around to see what they were by Mitsu sheepishly walked into a clothing store to ask where the mini-pet store was. The lady at the counter seemed to have an air of indifference about the wolf girl's presence, but that also seemed to be a look she maintained throughout the day. With a huff it looked like the lady was pointing back the way they came giving a sort of instruction that Mitsu wasn't very pleased with.
When the lupine came back out of the shop her ears were as low on the sides of her head as they could be. "W..we turned the wrong way....Its back that way....quite a ways." Mitsu pointed in the direction they had just come from knowing they had only made the trip longer by coming this direction. Now Shun was sure to be frustrated with her.

Frowning, Shun just waited outside while Mitsu went on into a clothing store to ask for some directions. When she came back out, he couldn't help but sigh at the news. It was annoying to say the least, but he said nothing of it. Looking back down the way they came, he just started walking.
"Well, let's get going then," he mumbled, not sounding entirely happy.
He supposed he got a better feel for the town with this walk at the very least.

If Mitsu's ears could have dropped any lower they would have at the sound of Shun's voice. He sounded mad. What should she do? Should she apologize again?
About to open her mouth, the apology on the tip of her tongue, Mitsu decided against it following behind the reaper in silence instead. She was slowly starting to realize it was probably annoying to hear the same words over and over again, but she really meant them.
Doing a better job at noting landmarks this time, the two of them finally found where they had turned off and kept going. A little further down and Mitsu spotted the body spot she had seen. "There's the body shop..." She mumbled pointing it out. At least she had been right about that because not much further down was the mini-pet store.

Though the walk was a silent one, it went by a little faster now that they had a better idea of where they needed to go. This was confirmed as Mitsu managed to spot the body shop she had mentioned earlier on. Peering down the street, he managed to spot the sign that likely belonged to the minipet shop.
"Is that it up ahead?" he asked, his tone sounding a little more normal now. Shun got the feeling it was, but there were a few other signs blocking his line of sight so he couldn't be completely certain of it.

Mitsu looked up at the sign as they approached, if the assortment of mini-pets on the sign wasn't a give away the name Mini-Mart was definitely a clue in. At least they found it without another detour.
Pushing the door open Mitsu stepped inside only slightly familiar with the lay out. It took her a moment to figure out where the different FEAR candies were and once they she started to search for something Milo would eat.
Milo had gotten rather excited once they had entered the mini-pet shop, ears perked and tail wagging. He knew this place was associated with food. They gave treats away at the check out counter which was where he was staring intently.

Since he hadn't been inside this particular shop yet, Shun had to take a moment to look around upon entering. He wasn't the only one as Bent-Tail was sniffing and looking about curiously. The place had the scent of a typical pet shop. The mouse could smell other critters all about, and more importantly, he smelled food.
Getting excited, the miced tea spun about and started to bounce on his owner's shoulder, making happy little squeaks.
The reaper watched to see where Mitsu had gone off to and followed her to where the food was.
Once in that isle, he looked around for the brand that Bent seemed to like best.
"Go on and pick one out," he told his little friend while extending an arm out to the bags. The mouse took little time to scurry down so he could start sniffing at the various packagings. So many choices!
While he was doing that, Shun glanced towards the wolf girl to see what she would pick out for Milo.

"What about this one, Milo?" Mitsu asked picking up one of the FEAR candy bags. The little boafox seemed to shake its head. That wasn't the one he wanted. "O..okay, what about this?" Mitsu put that one down and picked up another. Instantly Milo threw his nose in the air as if in disgust. Why would she think he would eat that?
Looking over to Shun as he allowed Bent to choose Mitsu decided to go the same route and pulled Milo from her shoulder and held the little boafox out in front of the assortment of packages. Immediately Milo went to work sniffing every package intently, his head giving a shake if he think it was the right one. Finally he settled on one that made his ears perk and his tail begin to sway. Ooh! Oh this one smelled good!
"T..this one?" Milo sure knew how to pick'em. It would figure the little boafox would pick something expensive. With a sigh Mitsu placed the little fox on her shoulder and grabbed the bag. At least he probably wouldn't eat much.

Before too long, Bent-Tail settled on one of the bags, pawing at it excitedly to let Shun know he had made his mind. Nodding to the mouse, he gently picked him before grabbing the bag. Interesting choice of flavor this time around, but that was what the little guy wanted.
Out of curiosity, he glanced over to see what Milo had picked out as well. A pricey one it seemed.
Just to make sure he wasn't forgetting anything, he glanced around the aisle, trying to think if there was anything else he might need from the store. He couldn't think of any.
"All set?" he asked Mitsu.

Mitsu nodded a little. "I guess so." At least Milo had picked it out so he would eat it and it wouldn't just sit around. Going to the check out counter Mitsu quickly paid before she could regret it, putting down the few silver she had left in her wallet. Getting to the end of the week was going to be fun for sure.
Once her purchase was all settled she stood to the side and waited for Shun.

Nodding to her, Shun took the bag up to the counter so that he could pay for his as well. Since the phone had been paid by card, he still had a fair amount of silver seeds in his wallet. He didn't catch how bare Mitsu's looked but he had kind of an idea that she wasn't the most financially stable person around due to various hints here and there.
The really old and worn down phone for example.
Once he finished, he walked on outside to meet back up with her. Now that was done, he was fairly certain there wasn't really anything else he needed from town.
"Was there anything else you needed?"

Mitsu shook her head in reply. There wasn't anything else that she needed, not that she had the silver to buy anything. "N.no, I guess we can head back." Pulling out her new phone again as they started to walk, she marveled over the different options. There was a lot this little device could do.
As they continued down the street though a small distressed noise caught her attention. The noise was faint but her ears seemed to pick it up and she turned her head trying to determine the source. "W...what is that?"
Milo seemed to hear it too, his ears twitching at the top of his head. The boafox began to sniff at the air curiously though he didn't seem to be able to locate the noise either.
Ears tilting this way and that Mitsu deterred from their current path following the noise. It lead her into a nearby alley where some trashcans were sitting out. The noise seemed to be coming from there but what could it be? Curiously Mitsu walked over seeing something wiggle under some papers.

Since their business was done in town, heading back to the school sounded good. Shun glanced towards Mitsu as she began to fiddle around with her new phone. No doubt it would take a little bit for her to get used to it after dealing with the old one for however long she had it.
Hearing the noise as well, he turned towards the area where it seemed to have come from. It sounded like some small animal, but he hadn't heard it well enough to pick up what it was exactly.
Following Mitsu, he saw the wiggling papers. Raising an eyebrow, he moved on over and crouched down to move the papers aside to see what it was.

"W..what is it?" Mitsu asked curiously as she moved closer to watch Shun unveil the creature. It sounded small.
When the papers were finally removed it revealed something Mitsu wasn't all that excited to see. Instantly she let out a small squeak, jumping back and behind Shun for protection. Apparently her fear of cats had grown since the open house.
Beneath the papers laid a tiny green acrobat kitten, completely tangled in a mass of wire and string. It was making the distressed noise because it had managed to get caught and couldn't get free. No doubt it had been looting the trashcans for something to eat.
