Nessie laughed, "I think those claws would be alarming to see on someone you know especially. Knowing they didn't have them before and now they do--would be...interesting."
She smiled her toothy grin at the other one, "Thank you. I just...it hurts when all you'v'e ever loved has left you. Calling you awful things and making you think you are that awful thing for years. It takes a long time to find out...you're just you."

She grinned some. "You can either strive to prove those who called you such things wrong of become the monster they think you are.. sadly I did the later before the first. Don't get me wrong... I'm not typically full of fluff." She smirked some. Some times being a monster had it's advantages. She knew this well.

She nodded knowing the feeling all too well. It wasn't till she had found her mate that she really started to get a softer edge. "Some times things happen for you to realize it."

She nodded her head gently, "I guess it does make sense. Just hard to accept that it doesn't come when we want, and only when it's time."

"Some times... the change isn't even known to be needed." this she knew herself. she'd been mostly content in being feared till recently now her eyes had been opened to what her own brother saw her as. and it was something she didn't like. She in her own strange way had always cherished her brother just the way she showed she cared could be deemed a bit sinister.

"What do you mean?" Nessie splashed again. She wasn't quite sure she was understanding it. How could it not be known to be needed? Wouldn't you need to know what as wrong to fix it?

"Not necessarily.. you can enjoy being the monstrosity and like being cruel to get your own way.. but not realize how it affected those around you for the worse.. only to find that one individual changes you so much that you inadvertently become a better individual for it and then and only then realize that the change was needed."

She nodded slightly. "My story is something similar to that... I enjoyed being perfectly wretched and caniving.. and didn't see how it hurt my brother.. Only when I met my mate did I start to see a change.. " She chuckled lightly. "That's not to say that I'm all rainbows and sunshine now.. far beyond it but I can be pleasant where as before I'd have sooner found something I wanted and used you to get it before trying t actually get to know you."

She gave a small chuckle. "I guess that's one way of putting it.. Perhaps some day.. more changes will come." She smiled at the thought she had in mind. "Accompanied by the sound of laughter and little hooves."

She thought a moment and then nodded. "It is my wish to provide my family the next generation. My mate and I.. would gladly welcome little ones in time.. and as sure.. would bring them to know both his ways.. and mine."
