HP:17 Felix watched Rhaim take off into the trees, turning back to spot a smaller looking dog approaching him, and it appeared to be searching for something, not taking note of him at all. Felix grimaced, kneeling down to the ground and flashing his Kunai, cutting the lower left leg from his pants, about down from the knee... to remove the vomit from the last dog. It was not only a terrible feel on his leg to be walking with it, but it was also a nasty smell, and would probably throw off any movements he might make, not to mention he would have to make special care to bathe that back at the village. There were small ripping sounds as the Kunai bit into the pants, and he circled it around his knee, cutting it there.. and then down the calf to remove it entirely and toss it to the side. Felix then stood, dusting himself off somewhat and paying a little more attention to the dog as it drew closer in its apparent search. "...Hey boy.. whatcha looking for.." He approached steadily with just his hands raised so as not to throw the dog into aggression. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ D20 + handle animal(0)= ~

The dog continued its hunt with its' nose pressed against the earth towards the human. The which was brought to a sudden surprising stop as it heard the boys' voice. It hopped backwards in fright with its' hair standing on end. The creature shot its' head from side to side to see just how many small mailmen had been able to sneak up on it in its' search. Not finding any and not liking the smell coming from Felix, it lowered itself and let out a low growl. The back paws were even and further than shoulders width apart while the front paws were offset with the left one in front.
The sounds of the other animals in the distance was still present and slightly louder than before.

HP:17 Felix stopped in his tracks, noticing how the other dog was growling at him defensively. He lifted his head, taking note of the approaching sounds of the other animals out in the woods. ..Whats going on out there... He stood silently for a moment, watching off into the woods and listening for the sounds of the other animals out there. Well... it seems they are getting closer... But what Felix really wanted to know was the bigger puzzle... what in the world was going on here... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ D20 + awareness(2)= ~

Felix could tell that the animals in the distance were definitely moving in his direction. More telling than that though was the fact that they did not seem to be the sounds of combat. What the other dog noises meant was however still a mystery to the Genin, as was the obviously aggressive nature of the dog in front of him.
That very same dog used the opportunity given by the child scanning his surroundings instead of focusing on it to launch at him. However this one didn't go for the flesh of the small mailman as its' comrade had. Instead it went straight for the utility pouch on the boys' belt.
Acrobatics: 11+1=12
To prevent Felix from losing his utility pouch roll a reflex save. The DC is the Acrobatics score of the dog.

HP:17 Felix saw the dog coming too late, and attempted to dodge to the side so that it could not tackle him... which is what he thought it was going to do. Of course he didn't know that these were 'intelligent' dogs, and not wild dogs, and the creature was going to go for his weapons pouch. Though... he should have figured, given the fact that the last dog could climb a tree and such. Kind of unusual behavior for dogs... but anyways, he was flying to the side, attempting to evade the thing somehow. But what had tipped Felix off that the dogs were not usual? ...The whole chakra sucking thing, or the fact that last dog could climb a tree... Felix did not know of any dog that could climb a tree... not like that. He really should have seen this type of intelligent behavior coming. They may as well just be ninja dogs, summons... or shape shifters. At this point he wouldn't be surprised. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ D20 + rex(0)= ~

With the utility pouch of the small mailman in its' mouth the dog gave a quick glance over its' shoulder. This may have appeared as if it were mocking him, but in actuality the animal was simply just as shocked as the child that the maneuver had worked. Its' still developing muscles twitched as it lurched forward to begin running away from the child. Given the scents that it could pick up, the sounds it had heard, and the type of attire of the boy, the dog wanted nothing to do with him in a fight.
The dog is about to begin running away. While Felix has a few options the only two that will stop the dog from putting distance between the two is to 1) Grapple 2) Trip.

HP:24 After freshening up quite a bit and recovering from his wounds, Felix decided that a mission was still a mission, and must be completed no matter what. Even if it killed him, he was now a Genin of Konoha, and he would act with that responsibility. Not only that, but Rhaim had kind of trusted him to get to the bottom of this dog matter, right? Felix approached the Konohagakure hospital, deciding that was as good a place as any to begin his search for answers. And so here he found himself, inside of the hospital and looking around for someone who could tell him what was going on with the dog that had been sent here. "...Hello, I'm from Rhaim's team, following up on the dog he brought here earlier." Felix smiled at one of the medical Ninja working in there, approaching them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The young woman with golden hair and all white medical scrubs lifted her head as a young Felix approached her. She raised an eyebrow at the child while cradling a clipboard with medical charts in her hands, "Rhaim? Who's that?" She turned over her shoulder and called out to another nearby medic, "Hey Shinzou, you know anything about this Rhaim and his dog? Did an Inuzuka come in?"
The wiry middle aged man with his hair hidden beneath a white bandanna walked up to the other medic and the Genin, "No. But there was some Nara kid from first platoon that brought in a mutt." The man turned his brown eyes down to Felix, his hands nestled in the front pockets of his hospital coat, "Is that what you're here about?"

HP:24 "...Umm... I guess so.." Felix's voice trailed off as he wondered what was going on... he felt like an idiot for coming in here and spouting off a name that nobody knew now. But at least they were talking to him about it. "..Yea first platoon, that's my unit." Felix nodded affirmatively, that name at least made some sense to him. "...What can you tell me about the dog?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The man who answered to Shinzou shrugged his shoulders at the young shinobi, "Nothing really. I was just taking care of a patient that was close by when they brought in the thing. Must be important though. They had to round up some pretty specific staff to look at it. The room is over this way. You can check if they left any notes."
The older man turned to lead Felix down the corridor to the room where the animal had been taken. There was a sheet attached to a clipboard sitting in a holder to the left of the sliding door. Through the glass window of the door could be seen a shinobi in standard blue overalls and a fishing vest instead of green combat vest. The guards' headband was wrapped around his right arm. His apparent age and attire suggested he was a Genin as well. Also in the room was a bed with a large bulge and a sheet ratchet strapped down on top of it. The bulge was very dog shaped in nature.
Shinzou tapped Felix on the shoulder, "Well kid I've got alot of work to do. You should be able to find your way out. Hope you find what you're looking for." With that the man left the child.

HP:24 Felix's silver toned eyes met those of the other man as he was speaking, and his posture was placed casually. He wore his typical attire of course, jet black colored fatigues made of a firm sort of cloth, long sleeve on the arms, though his pants were banded and tied near the ankles, just above his sandal bearing feet, in Shinobi fashion for ease of Acrobatics. He had a belt wrapped around his waist with two of his Kunai in it, the third was wrapped along with his Ankle should he need it there, though not so as to prove dis-comfortable, being more or less along his shin. Felix placed his arms behind his back, walking with Shinzou as he lead him down the hall, toward the room where the specialists had been working. He listened attentively, turning and nodding every so often. "...Thanks Shinzou... my name is Felix Silverlight." Felix bowed politely to the other man, then acknowledged and watched him leave. He knew 'Silverlight' was a rather hard name to forget, but he did not expect the man to remember it. It was simple courtesy that he introduce himself though. Turning back to look into the room for a moment, Felix remembered the words that the man spoke about the notes, and he reached up, taking the clipboard out of the holder and scanning it with his eyes to see if he could make out anything useful... after a moment he placed it back, and stepped forward, opening the door and glancing at the other Shinobi in the room, who he bowed to politely. "...My name is Felix." He stood back up straight and shrugged, shifting his glance from the boy to the dog. "...I am supposed to figure out what was wrong with the dogs.. and I'm hoping the Medics did it for me." He smiled lightly, glancing about for anything, or any other notes that might help. His own headband was wrapped about his forehead, and his raven dark hair spilled over it, covering it completely in a couple of places. Though he still enjoyed the feel of it there, as if it were comforting him in a way, re-assuring him that he was indeed a Genin of Konohagakure. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Clipboard Initial Medical Report -
Canine seems normal and healthy. Broken jaw, several missing teeth and severe head trauma- Nara claims responsibility. Request Inuzuka follow-up.
Inuzuka Report-
Canine is normal and does not appear to have been raised by humans. Appears to have free control over chakra system. Muscle growth suggests frequent use of chakra. Stomach contents suggest it was recently sick. Canine should avoid direct chakra contact. Request Yamanaka follow-up.
Yamanaka Report-
Canine has only memories of it living in the Konoha Forest. Several distinct memories of wounded pack members receiving medical aid from shinobi. Recent memories of pack members being wounded by Jibaku Fuda traps. Canine and remaining pack searching for medical supplies. Has recently resorted to stealing supplies from shinobi. Smart but not abnormally so. Location of wounded pack unknown. When Felix entered the room the seated boy stood up quickly and bowed, thinking that a superior had caught him dozing off. Seeing that it was nothing of the sort he smiled and placed his hands on his hips as if he were in charge of the situation, "Hello Felix! I'm Kaito from first platoon! Yeah the docs wrote a full report on it outside. They say that it got some pretty bad head wounds. Other than that it's just been asleep since it got in."

HP:24 "...First platoon eh?" Felix smiled, "..Well... that's my platoon, so nice to meetcha." He nodded, listening attentively as the other boy spoke to him about the doctor's report. "..Mhmm.. that's what it sounds like." He crossed his arms and walked over to the bedside, glancing down at the little bundle that was the dog. He glanced over at the other boy curiously to see if anything was wrong with him doing so, and then lifted the sheet just a little to view the dog beneath... though he made sure not to get too close, and was very careful, because he still had bad memories of that thing. Felix wondered if Kaito knew of Rhaim, since he was in the same platoon... and he figured it was worth a shot. "...Hey did Rhaim leave anything for me in the ways of follow up on this... or do you know where I could find him?" He asked curiously, hoping for the next clue as to where he should go from this information. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The other boy still held his hands on his hips as if he were commanding a ship or something. He nodded his head vigorously at the mention that they were in the same unit. There seemed to be nothing abnormal about the dog to the boy who hadn't read the medical report, so he made no fuss of Felix getting close to it. When asked about Rhaim he took his seat again and rubbed his chin while putting on a look that made him seem as if he were thinking very hard, "Rhaim? That boring Nara kid? He told me to stay here but that was about it. So he probably just went back to where ever he was. He does that kind of thing though."
