While she didn't win the race in first place (a computer player did), she still managed to finish ahead of Jericho by a small distance after getting a small speed boost from a box. It wasn't completely satisfying, however... While she was still giggly and happy from her previous win, this one did dampen her spirits a little.
"Lets do this course again," She pouted, "And this time, one of us better get first place!"

It seemed that particular race didn't go too well for either of them. But Jericho wasn't quite dead last so that was a plus at the very least. Nodding in agreement with Lizzy, he set it up to redo that particular track.
"Alright. Let's do this," He grinned as he got started. This time he had a decent beginning, but it wasn't anything spectacular. He still had a chance at grabbing the top spot and all.

"Right!" She returned his grin with one of her own, glad that he agreed with her.
This was becoming a trend; always a few steps behind Jericho... If she wasn't so focused on the game, she might have found that rather ironic since that does somewhat reflect her feelings on the situation between them. However, right now, all she could think about was... Well, winning. Along this train of thought, she started to subconsciously lean forward to "go faster".

At the moment, he was pretty focused on trying to win as well. However, he was more concerned about defeating the computer players rather than Lizzy at the moment seeing how he was ahead of her in the meantime. Jericho didn't really expect for things to stay that way, but he was more concerned about the characters ahead of him.
In his focus, he managed to pull ahead a fair amount, enough to at least hopefully place in the top three.

She was really leaning forward now, eyes focused on the screen as she sped past one opponent after the other... And she found her character beside Jericho's character, with the finish line just ahead.
"Race you!" She couldn't help chuckling, although her attention was still on the game.

Jericho could see Lizzy coming up from behind. This was going to be a tight one for sure. Narrowing his eyes as he focused on the screen, he tried to pull ahead of her at the last moment.

She noticed Jericho pulling away, and frowned, putting all her efforts on pressing down on that 'A' button... And leaning forward. Except neither really helped and she lost to Jericho; on the other hand, they did beat the computer!
"Awww," She giggled before reaching out to ruffle the dragon's hair with a sheepish smile, "I think the luck I borrowed left..."

"Whew. That was a close one," grinned Jericho, feeling satisfied that he had managed to win this time around.
"Good try though," he nodded to Lizzy before glancing back at the screen, "You want another round or are you raced out for the time being?"

"Raced out? Never!" She grinned; she was having way too much fun to stop so soon! She would port everything back to her dorms with her if she could (everything meaning Jericho included) but since she couldn't she didn't really want to stop playing... Not right now anyway. Staring at the screen, she paused, looking thoughtful before grinning again, "Which one is the hardest course? I feel like trying it~"

Grinning, the dragon nodded before looking at the stage select screen. He went on to the final one in the list.
"This is the longest and hardest one. So get ready," he warned. After he let that sink in, Jericho picked it up and waited for the race to begin. At the go, he started to speed off. Well. At least, he tried to speed off. He ended up getting knocked off the track pretty early on, causing him to curse in annoyance under his breath.

"Ready when you are!" She nodded before turning her attention back to the screen; this would make for a fine last game! She ended up being knocked around at the start as well; while this made her tie with Jericho, it also meant that the computer players had the upper hand for now.

This time around, Jericho was doing rather pitifully. The course was just really working against him. Snarling practically out of frustration, he just tried to do what he could to stay in the running. That didn't work out too well for him however. Either he kept getting knocked off the track, knocked around in general, or just bad stuff.
Oh how he hated when this happened like this.

While she wasn't doing so well (ahhh, so many holes in the ground!) either, she did manage to pass the finish line ahead of Jericho, behind a couple of computer players.
It was an empty victory.
"Lets try this again," She pouted, putting the controller on her lap as she flexed her fingers before picking it up again with one hand. Her other hand went to ruffle Jericho's hair (for luck) before going back to the controller. Looking up, she smiled sheepishly, "If you don't mind that is..."

"Not a problem with me," Jericho nodded while staring at the screen. He was looking pretty determined and didn't really have much of a reaction when she ruffled his hair some. The dragon went on and set things up for a redo. And this time, he blazed off from the starting position, managing to avoid the same mistake he had pulled last time around.

While Jericho took the lead, she ended up being pushed and shoved around at the starting line, causing her to fall behind. However, she did manage to win even with a bad start before, so... Looking just as determined, if not even more so, she pressed down, hard, on the 'A' button as she leaned forward.
Come on...! Maybe she could get a good power up again...
