It didn't seem to have done anything brilliant. Quillan heaved a large sigh and swung his wand lazily in his hand. It was beginning to annoy him how weak they were! Honestly, was this all they could do? For some reason, he figured they'd amount to more than just a small crack in the shell--and they had been working on it for some time now! Beginning to feel rather bored, Quillan shoved his wand back into his pocket and found his other shoe, lazily throwing it at the egg, without even bothering to see if it did much damage--or where the giant egg was, for that matter.
After he did, he noticed Dorian casting a leviation spell. His eyes followed Dorian's wand and traveled from it to the large rock he was moving. "Eggs should be cracked easily!" Quillan complained to his friend, enthusiasm having quickly faded. "I don't suppose we could boil him--could we? I think he'd taste delicious... Pleeasse, Dorian?"

Dorian listened to the satisfying sound of the crack, and was a bit dismayed that the damage to the shell wasn't that great. He heard rather than saw Quill come up next to him. He held back a sigh, as he looked over the egg thoughtfully.
"Boiling..hmm..where would we get enough water to do that?" he asked, grinning a bit. "Why don't you go see if you can find some." he told Quill, as he threw another stone at the gigantic egg.
It seemed like he'd be throwing stones at the egg for ages for it to crack enough, but Dorian wasn't one to quit when he was faced with a difficult task.

Dorian's eyes widened in surprise when his last attack made the Egg turn and run at him. "Merde!" He exclaimed and tried to evade the Egg's oncoming form.
he was a little unnerved at how fast the enraged Egg could move and was surprised when it caught up to him and raised a leg up to smash him into the ground. Dorian squeaked in alarm and tried to dive out of the way. Once he hit the dirt, getting yet more grass stains on his pants, he flipped over onto his back. He shrieked and raised his arms over his face as the Egg lowered a foot to stomp him into the ground.
Dorian squeezed his eyes shut as the foot blacked out the sky above him and yelped in fright. Right as the foot came down to stamp him out..the egg was suddenly blown back onto the ground with a loud thud. Dorian's eyes slowly opened in confusion and he sat up and peered at the egg which now had a slightly bigger crack in it's shell.
"Okay..how did that happen?" He said with a frown and scratched his head in confusion. Dorian knew better than to stick around the fallen egg, and scrambled off to the nearest tree to hide. There was something about what had just happened that he couldn't quite get his head around.

Almeda decided that maybe launching rocks at it might be her best choice at this point. But wasnt really ready to give up. She was still hoping to get something that might effect it. She decided to try Locomotor again. She took a deep breath and aimed her wand right at the giant walking egg. "Locomotor Mortis"

Farodon saw Almeda. She was looking really frustrated. He carefully made his way over to her. THere were many students throwing spells and charms every where. He almost got hit several times just trying to get to her. He knew that thing was strong but even with all these students out here, they were barely even cracking the egg shell. How were they ever to really defeat it. He began to think, and as he got to Almeda she was turning almost blue in the face with frustration. He decided to actually pick up the biggest rock he could find, and threw it straight at the creature. "Hey Almeda, I wonder if we could try teaming up and hitting it at the same time maybe." He wasnt sure she had heard him. She was staring at the creature obviously trying to think of what spell to use next.

Clarissa frowned. This was going nowhere soon, they had done nothing more than put a small crack in the egg. Overhearing the boy she had talked to earlier, she smiled. Setting it on fire sounded fun. She approached the boys, smiling. "Now there's an idea, anyone got a lighter?" she joked, knowing it wouldn't work. She thought of eggs and how easy they were to crack. If they were to run it into the school, would it cause any damage to the school itself? She threw a rock at the egg while she mulled over the thought.

Almeda almost hit Farodon with a spell, before he ducked out of the way. "Oh dear. Im so sorry. I so didnt see you there. Are you ok? Where did you go? What happened to you? Did it get to you?" She realized his back was to the creature and it looked as if it might come for him. "Look out! Hurry get over here!" Farodon jumped out of the way. "I agree Farodon, maybe attacking together will be the best plan of attack. What is your plan for a good spell?"

Ezra laughed watching everyone attempted to stop the egg. Everyone seemed to be using spells or throwing rocks.. But the best part of the whole situation was that it tried to step on one of the kids! He couldn't stop laughing at the sight, and wasn't sure if he was relieved or disappointed when it was knocked back. With a cheesy grin he pulled out his wand. 'Magic really isn't my specialty... but I'll give it a shot.' Pointing his wand at the egg, he shouted out the only spell he knew, "Incendio!"

Almeda was really getting tired of this stupid egg 'thing'. "I wanna get this over with. Humph I was thinking it would be fun. Maybe we should go back to the common room, and let the others take care of this stupid thing."

For once since he first saw her, Farodon was in complete agreement Almeda. "You know that is the first thing that you have said since I first saw you that has made any sense to me." He wasnt sure if that hurt Almeda's feelings, or if she was not even hearing him again. He randomly picked up another rock and tossed it in the direction of that stupid thing again.

HP: 370
The last few hits seemed to do the most damage to the large egg. It gurgled suddenly, cracks thundering over its shell from the various spells and fight tactics implemented by the students. Before it could regenerate the damage, fire smacked into it, erupting over the front of the candy-coated shell and causing the scale of the cracking to escalate.
With all the noise, it was no surprise when a large portion of the shell suddenly broke free from the creature, crashing to the ground where it transfigured automatically into a pile of candy-coated chocolate candies and every flavor jelly beans. A sweet reward for doing a good portion of damage to the increasingly burnt-smelling foe.
The egg bounced around angrily, no real flow to its movements now. Kids were laughing and darting out from under it all over the place. Something in knowing the beast couldn't actually hurt them had made the game more fun than horrifying for a few of them, at least.
Turning to face the attackers, the egg revealed the true extent of the damage- a large hole in the front of it, where a normal person's belly might be. Inside was dark, shadowed as though it were hallow on the inside. However, small flashes of color suggested there were indeed prizes to be had inside. Delicious egg prizes. They remained secure inside the beast, though, the enchanted egg keeping them locked away despite the massive opening.
The only way to get at them was to defeat the egg monsters once and for all.
All the damage already done had, naturally, weakened it considerably, leaving it even more vulnerable to magic. The end was near, and both the creature and its creator were aware of it. Ego looked on, his amused smile still present. Hey, at least the kids were holding their own.
He was actually impressed with their show of skills so far.
-----------------------------------------
- From this point on, you may roll between TEN and FIFTY to finish this guy off!
- The egg may start fighting back, spraying marshmallow paste, jelly beans, or any other easter-like candy. You may do what you want, but keep in mind the event is not meant to injure anyone seriously.
- You must attack AT LEAST once (at any point in this event) to qualify for the prize once the egg is defeated!
- All the other rules still apply.
- You may join at any time.

"Oh Farodon! Look at the sweets." Luckily Almeda was fast enough to be able to run in between the feet. Although she wasnt really afraid of it hurting her she still wasnt quite ready to test her theory of it being incapable of hurting them. She decided to relax a little and have fun. It was after all a good idea to get them practicing. She should have guessed. She grabbed Farodon and showed him the candy. "Hurry grab some. Some of the others havent noticed yet!"
