Deimos focused on the floor as they walked, brow furrowed. The more light cast to illuminate the tunnel, the more frightened he looked. It only made seeing just how confined the space was easier. "...two eight two nine two five four zero nine..."

Claire followed the rest of them into the other portion of the cavern, making it a point to keep herself as far from the group of Galactics as she possibly could. The Pikachu on her shoulder sighed dramatically, seeming to be extremely bored, so much so that he could die. Maybe she should give him one of those logic puzzles.
Right.
"Down," she said sharply, shrugging the electric-type from her shoulder, and with a squeak he fell onto the ground. He somehow managed to land on his feet though, and he glowered up at the young woman. "Look for any tunnels."
Growling, his cheeks started sparking to give himself light as he began trotting around to first find the walls, and then walked along them to see if there was any way out. Claire followed him a bit absently, though she was more looking along the walls to see if there was a hole or maybe even some sort of ledge higher up, anything that they could use to escape.

For a time the only sound in the cave was the found of their footballs on the uneven ground, and the growing muttering of the Galactic Deimos. When Nyx nearly tripped, and snapped out her question, Faleen lifted her gaze, looking through the patches of darkness at her before she glanced over at the two Galactics.
"Hm..." She hummed when the female gave Nyx an answer. Faleen glanced back over to the purple haired man, frowning softly as she eyed him. Once she was turned back to her team mate she drifted closer to the white haired Agent. Her cheeks still a little red on forcibly professional expression.
"The open cockpit designs make sense now..." She hoped his volume didn't get to much higher, having to walk hearing this the entire time would get old very quickly.

Nyx stared at the two Galactics, pondering why he needed to calm down. They were only trapped in a cave with the possibility of no way out--nothing at all to panic about. "Doesn't look like it is working..." She sighed, "I can help." She didn't want to help, but it was that, or the distracting mumbling.
"Tazieff, Doppler, come here." She needed light, and her pokemon not to be running off ahead of her. The scientist, with no trace of a happy look on her face, reached into one of her pockets and pulled out a case, which, when opened, revealed a syringe and some cartridges of fluid.

Faleen's comment caught her ear, but at Nyx's approach Tethys' expression hardened. With a swift signal of her hand her Starmie swooped around in front of the pair like a shield, bathing the Rocket scientist in yellow-orange warning light as it gently bobbed.
"Don't touch him." Her voice, though level, bore a sharpened edge.

Faleen stopped when Nyx did, frowning softly in curiosity at what she was doing, when she saw the syringe though her eyebrows arched in surprise, and instantly she knew that this was probably not going to go over well. "Uh, Nyx..."
When the Starmie made a quick movement, Umbreon was instantly on guard, jumping in front of the two Rockets.
"Umbreon" Faleen said sharply, though keeping her voice as low as she could. "Take no action." Her words drew the Umbreon backward and he sat down, though not taking his eyes off of the Starmie.
"Nyx, what is that?" She asked, eying the syringe once Umbreon was recalled to her side.

"Oh come on. It's just a sedative. It'll calm him down." Nyx rolled her eyes. Some people were just so paranoid. "It isn't like it's poison or anything." Obviously. Though, it could have been. That would have been the clever thing to do...
The Charizard let out a low rolling growl, displeased at the sudden starmie shield and the tone that the blue haired human was taking with her human. Tensions were rising, and she did love a good fight...

The rolling and cajoling failed to sway. Tethys' eyes flicked from Nyx to the Pokemon - first Tazieff, then Umbreon - and finally Faleen. They received the same look - deadpan, unimpressed, unconvinced.
Without a word, she pressed on.

"Ugh- Look. It's safe." Nyx quickly measured out a small amount (for a charizard) and injected it into her own pokemon, before Tethys and noisey-man-mc-annoying-pants wouldn't be able to see.
Within a few seconds, the dragon who had been growling and posturing ceased those actions. Instead, she started to rumble in almost a purr and calmly swayed her tail back and forth, content to not fight anyone.
"See?"

Faleen scratched at her forehead when The Galactics continued on, looking back over at Nyx. "It was a good idea, though it should probably be best for an allie" She let out a sigh, not having liked making eye contact with that women, but Faleen hadn't allowed herself to look away.
She continued forward, Umbreon keeping up beside her.
Banette, still having the sandwiches slung over his shoulders, had chosen to go invisible... making it appear that the bag was floating around on its own.

As they continued Deimos' stress level seemed to be increasing. Every moment spent in the confined tunnel was wearing on the Galactic boss visibly. He continued reciting numbers, voice wavering. He was sounding close to tears now. It was unlikely he'd be able to keep this up much longer. "...s..seven one two th...three seven one three... seven eight...."

As Faleen suspected, the number reciting got worse with the tone, and manner he was droning on and on an on, all the while echoing through the dark stone walls. It was starting to get to her, that wasn't an easy feat to accomplish. He needed to be snapped out of it, she had no idea if the Galactic even could, Gosh this man was so infuriating to Faleen! Constantly!
In a voice to overthrow what Deimos was saying, Faleen started to rattle of the spec calculations for a portion of the project that she had been working on that she knew belonged to him, the G-ball. In the hopes that it would snap him out of this irrational whimpering of his. Gosh she hoped it worked.
If that ball was really his creation, he would know this no problem, thats how devoted Mechanics and engineers worked.

Faleen's clever effort did succeed in drawing Deimos' eye to her. Which was something, considering he seemed incapable of staring at anything but the floor. Unfortunately, the numbers didn't stop.
