Bix gulped. He felt like something had imperceptibly changed in him after his attack. Maybe it was the nature of the attack or maybe it was scrounging for items off of a corpse. Whatever it was he was definitely less like a snivelling idiot within moments.

He felt like he had to look out for Before and also that he had to be as reliable to Bee as she had been a steadfast companion thus far. "I wish we had a light or something."

He glanced back at the other few people lingering around Gamma-7's body but decided not to wait before trying to find a way up in the dilapidated lighthouse. "I'm starting to think, on the third day, that we need to give serious thought to getting some of these pendants."

He gave Beta-3 a very serious look. "Which means more fighting." More killing just went unsaid but was definitely implied. "I don't want to.." he snorted his allergy snort, "but we have to."

Three sighed as she stood up from Seven's corpse "I know" She told Bix and then motioned to Seven's corpse "I was really hoping Seven would have been carrying a better weapon..the stakes reliable but it doesn't seem to do much damage" she remarked.

"Better then nothing though right?" She added as she walked off from the corpse, glancing back at it once with a slight shrug "I wonder why it didn't you know... disappear..like the others" She mused before glancing around. "Looks like an old stairwell over there" She pointed out,though it was broken and wreaked "Probably led to the top once"

"And your right I think we ought to start looking for these pendants - but where are we going to find them? I mean I don't think we have enough people left in our group to just randomly attack and steal them from others" She pointed out and then glanced at Before before looking back to Bix with a pointed expression on her face - she doubted Before would be all the great in a fight - oh he had a good heart of course and she wanted to see him make it through this ...but he was prone to well...fits and flailing really.

Before was listening intently to his teammates. And he was not happy with what he was hearing. Fighting. They were going to be fighting and killing. Not that he could claim he had no blood on his hands, but the idea of fighting and killing another human being still made him weak in the knees. Even with the assurance that they would still come back, would that mean they'd come back to kill them back?

He decided to check his phone in the meantime, realizing he'd missed messages.

"How did ET get two pendants? Do you think he went and killed the guy who got the pendant from Death-on-Hooves? A-and then found one of the other teams' pendants and killed them? M-maybe we should k-k-off him if we get the chance. A-and I don't mind letting you two have any future pendants we find." It was a genuine offer. As unlikely as the situation was that they'd come across either E-13 or any new pendants. "You don't think there are some being kept in the lighthouse, do you?"

[ BXI is entering from the cornfields traveling thread. Finally. ]

Beta Eleven didn't cry out when she thought she saw movement ahead. She had learned that the slightest noise around this place could attract unwanted attention and she just wasn't in the mood to punch noncorporeal monsters at the moment. Despite her wariness, it didn't take long for the fog to swirl around just right and a small group of figures to come into view. Were their masks... blue? Betas?! Before BXI could run out to greet her former companions, she mentally went over everything that had happened so far. How could she be sure these were really Betas? She had been gone for so long that they might have been Pinks wearing Blue skin for all she knew. Best to be cautious.

BXI held her hands out in front of her and paced slowly toward the trio. Her bag was still intact and fairly pristine, but her gloves and mask looked like they had been dragged behind a speeding truck.

(( So went ahead and inquired (with Huni's help omgthanx) about the layout inside the Lighthouse. Since no one ever really specified the room we are in, we are going to have be inside the Keeper's Cottage, as it is the only way inside of the Lighthouse. Also the stairs have been ripped out and smashed so any remainder of stairs will lead to nowhere. No electricity either! I am reading up on the Lighthouse thread from Part 1 to be truly filled in on the physical details of the surroundings. ^_^;;; ))

Bix spun upon hearing a voice and whipped his gun out on the newcomer. His hand shook and he'd stumbled with it as he drew it but his hand sagged slightly when he realized it was another Beta.

"ANOTHER BETA!" His breathing had picked up in his edgy state but he tapped his chest with his hand to calm down a bit. "Welcome to the uh.. party? I guess."

Despite them being a Beta they could be a murderer just as well. Bix mentally decided that he would keep an eye on this person. For now though, they could decide where to go.

Their initial entrance, now that he had a breathing moment, left them in what seemed to be a cottage attached to the bottom of the Lighthouse. The floor of the room was littered with mess and it seemed like the top floor of the cottage had collapsed a while ago. There was a cracked door leading down to a basement but their aim had always been to head upwards.

"We're trying to find a way up the tower. Maybe get the lay of the land." He was really just informing the newcomer. "But I'm not sure if our luck is too good. This place is jacked up."

((Awesome! Altered my earlier post to reflect that info =-) ))

B3 turned around as another person came in, squinting slightly to get a better look at her - she looked like she'd been put through a wringer and for a few moments the damage made it hard to make out who she was "Eleven?" Three finally questioned, the last time she'd seen eleven hadn't she been tearing off through the corn screaming?

"I guess you made it away from the pinks then? Good..thats good" She stated with a nod to Bix "We need all the people we can get..and trust" She added on mentally. She briefly wondered what had become of that yellow clad figure that had disappeared so quickly after the fight with the shadowperson but he hadn't been a blue and so she wasn't all that inclined to think about it too much. He sure had left quickly though.

Time to turn her attention back to current problems "I don't know how they managed to get ahold of two pendants Before - but if it means our survival then yeah I say we take them out if we see them and steal those things. Idealy it would be nice for all of us to get one - but lets just agree not to murder each other for them if one of us does get lucky yes?" She had no desire to go about murdering people she'd spent the better part of three days with now now - not to mention all the crazy experiences they had shared up to this point.

Eyeing the broken stairwell she shook her head "I don't think we'll be getting up that way" She remarked "And I have no idea how stable the second floor is but perhaps we could boost a lighter member up to take a look around?"

Before squinted through his lenses at the newest arrival, realizing it was another Beta but did he know her? "Heeeeeey!!! It's Bill! They didn't kill you!!! Yaaaaaay!" Before threw his arms open, as is offering their teammate a hug. Clearly, if Beta 11 wanted to stab Beta 4 in the back, he was giving her every opportunity to do so. Up until Beta 3 suggested someone be hoisted up. With panic the last thing on Before's mind, an arm shot up (the other was still positioned to give a huuuuuuug) as if volunteering. "Lemme do it! I can scream real loud if something or someone's up there that wants to eat our face."

Hey, better him than someone that actually serves some use to the group, yeah?

Before felt his phone vibrate again, and checking for the message, he remembered what Bix had said about Boss getting a special call. MAYBE THIS WAS IT! Maybe this was like the same call she got and and and if he answered, maybe he'd get to see Boss too! And tell her, uh, okay he wasn't sure what he was going to tell her but he'll figure it out he supposed. And so he immediately began pressing the required buttons to respond.

"You guys, think this test'll have ma-"

The rest of his words are cut off as he disappeared in a bright, blue light.

What the in the bloody name of hamsters had just happened?! All these people had come in and then an enraged attack had happened. There was death and fighting and she had just wanted to stay up in the lighthouse away from danger! She glared down at her buzzing cellphone, text messages of random information and...oh hey. She seemed tohave been missing out on tests and such. Curiously she poked a button to respond...

Beta Eleven's eyes widened as she watched the others check their phones, then disappear without a trace. She wasn't eager to die, but something told her they hadn't died, at least not yet. Well, there was only one way to find out. She pulled out her phone and quickly responded to the text.
