The Rapidash still didn't seem to be losing any steam; it snorted a burst of fire and sent a Fire Blast straight at Ethfael. The Dragonair jumped through the fire aided by Extremespeed, and made contact with his Rapidash target, hammering it with an Aqua Tail as it recoiled from his fierce attack. Sereni was waiting for the opportune moment, using Stockpile as she stood back. The more times she repeated the action the more power was built up, until it was at its max, at which point she waited for the right chance to use it. Ava swept down with another Air Slash from above, and continued by summoning her Secret Power which took the form of a beam of energy, hitting the side of the Rapidash.

The Fire Type spun around, confused as to which one it should target it's focus turned to Sereni and it raced toward her in a Flame Charge. With a grin, the Laturn waited until the Rapidash was almost upon her before she used Spit Up and sent a blast of stockpiled energy straight into the Rapidash's face, and continued with a Water Gun. This was one Fire Type who would think twice about picking on their Team again. Ava hit it from the back with a Zen Headbutt once more, closely followed by a Dragon Rush from Ethfael. Ava touched down, sending a wrenching Earth Power toward the Rapidash again as she did so. Sereni sent another Whirlpool at the Rapidash, trapping it for the second time that battle. The battle was getting down to its last minutes; now that the Rapidash was slowing down, they'd have no trouble at all.

Era found herself pointed in the other direction toward another group. At first she was understandably confused, until she noticed the Typhlosion that was wreaking havok there. "On it," she replied to Fang, who had already sprinted off ahead of her. The Pikachu bolted after her, sending a pair of Thunderbolts at the Fire Type, followed by a carefully aimed Electro Ball. She reached an area nearby and nodded to Fang as she came up. The next attack the Raichu made would have her Helping Hand to strengthen it, and any electrical attacks she made with the Pikachu's help as well would be given the same boost.

Maestro dealt Punishment to the Camerupt and continued slashing at the large Pokemon with Fury Swipes. Tris got to his feet and came up with another Aqua Jet to hit their opponent. The Fire Type was slowing down, and that gave them both an energy boost to finish the job. Maestro cackled gleefully as his Foul Play hit the Camerupt again and he leaped back, claws glistening with crimson blood. Tris shot two more Water Gun attacks and a Sonic Boom before the Magnitude hit and both he and Maestro were shaken up a bit. "No!" said Maestro gleefully, "You know you can't win, fool!" In a sudden move he lunged with a Faint Attack, crashing into the Camerupt and making it moan. "Yes, that's it! Cry!" Maestro cackled, "You weren't worth being an opponent, and now you will pay!" The Zorua used his Fury Swipes to claw the top of his opponent's head until it bled out, and the poor creature fell to it's knees. "Die!" Maestro shouted, dealing his last Punishment on the defeated Camerupt as if crumpled to the ground in a heap.

Tris looked at his partner in dismay, "Maestro don't you think that was a bit...much?"

"No, he got everything he deserved," was the Zorua's curt reply, as he turned away. Tris shuddered slightly, what was going on here, Maestro was...frightening.

Camerupt: 0 HP

Echo jumped atop the Rapidash's back and although the flames were strong, managed to stay on for at least a little while for Zephyr to use Swords Dance again. The horse Pokemon whinnied and kicked, flailed, wiggled, whatever it could do to get the Treecko who was using Absorb on it's back. It bucked, flinging Echo up into the air then kicked her back. Echo landed on her feet and slid back, grimacing. That one had hurt. She looked over to Zephyr, who had finished up that Swords Dance preparation and now he was doing hoof to scythe combat with the Rapidash, blocking any attacks and slicing the Pokemon whenever it left a space for him to do so.

Chuck rolled out of the way of the Charizard's foot, slashed at it, then rolled again as a second foot came down. He got to his feet and jumped backward out of the way of a claw swipe, then dashed forward with his own. He ducked another claw attack and grabbed onto the passing arm, using the momentum to launch himself straight up into the air and come down, kicking with both legs as he did so. The bad judgment of this move didn't dawn on him until after he started flying through the air, assisted by a Charizard claw.

Celsus swept his tail again in the direction of a Growlithe, sending it flying into, by the sound of the collisions, at least one or two others. Another blast of blue fire struck three more enemies in a row.

Oliver managed to deflect a flaming fist with both his knives, then struck at the Magmortar with them, one after another. As the lava creature recoiled, he managed to hit it with another jet of water before another fireball forced him to disengage to avoid the explosion.

The Houndoom's attention seemed to have been taken by the sudden arrival of an Absol that sped across the room so fast she looked like she had simply just appeared out of nowhere. The stream of fire the Houndoom shot at the Absol was deflected by a sudden gust of wind -wind? In here?- and Incultyr took advantage of the distraction to throw a final piece of rock at the Houndoom. It hit the canine between the eyes and it finally fell over, unconscious.

Incultyr looked around the room through the Chaos, and saw a familiar blue blur. Suicune was ramming herself against the barrier. She seemed unaware of the Magcargo behind her, bubbling as it formed another blob of lava to throw at the water-type.

Incultyr once more slammed the ground with his fist, sending cracks all the way across the room. It erupted under the magcargo. Shards of rock pierced through its molten body, cracking open is delicate shell. Suicune turned around at the noise, narrowed her eyes at the sight of the still-alive, writhing, Slugma, and sent another Bubblebeam at it. Water hissed and steamed, and when the smoke cleared there was what looked like a statue of a snail rooted to the ground.

Melissa cracked her eye open at the voice, her vision swimming. She wasn't sure if she she imagined the Charizard suddenly coming back to life and flying away. But whatever happened, it was gone.

"Melissa...Mel..." A large metallic blob was slowly making its way across the floor toards her, the features of a Skarmory randomly forming and dissolving on the surface of the ditto's skin.

The Bulbasaur tried to stagger to her feet, both her vines lying limply on the ground.

"Kat...we have to get out of here." Melissa gasped. "We need to warn...Lilium and Repede.'

She made her way to Katara's side, and the ditto mustered up her strength. She slowly took the form of a large houndour, which was better able to cope with the heat though she still had trouble keeping her shape.

"Get on."

Melissa, with great difficulty secured both her vines around Katara's new form. Her right vine, the one that had been bitten off by the Charizard, pulsed with pain and clear slight green liquid oozed from the end. She held her grip though, and Katara was soon running out of the Main hall with all the speed she could muster, dodging what fights she could.

Team Trinity continued to trade blows with the Arcanine and Flareon. Aiden stayed back, while Beka and Chris took the offensive. Water splashed up all around them suddenly, and the three fire-types winced.

"Curse all this water!" Beka swore as her drenched fur quickly began to dry. The flames on her wrists sputtered as they regain their life.

"Too bad Beka." Chris told her with a grin, and before she could argue, sent another large torrent of water over their opponents, drenching her again. Fuming, Rebecca waded in with her sword out.

The arcanine bared his fangs, standing protectively in front of the Flareon who shivered by his side.

"Wait!" Aiden called up, stepping forward. He could see that their opponents had little heart left for the fight. Beka stayed her blade, but was more than ready to cleave the two other fire-types in half.

He stepped forward warily as they eyed him, holding back their own attacks.

Arcanine: 12 HP (-4)
Flareon: 10 HP (-4)

Avaria led the final assault on Team MistMelody's opponent, with an Earth Power that split the ground beneath the Rapidash and took to the air once more. "I'll leave the rest to you!" she said with a nod to Ethfael, before landing one last Air Slash on the Fire Type and turning to locate another group in need of assistance. Ethfael nodded briefly in return before lunging forward with Extremespeed to push the Rapidash down again. Sereni sent a stream of Bubble attacks at the Rapidash and rammed into it with a Take Down.

By this time the Rapidash was showing the wear and tear of the battle; scratches riddling its sides and a worn look on its face. It was clear that the Rapidash knew it was beaten, but it wasn't going down without a fight. Rising up from its painful kneeling position it was suddenly enveloped in fire, and hurled itself into Ethfael as hard as it could in a Flare Blitz. The Dragonair fell to the ground, stunned and angry burns present on his skin. In return he whacked the Rapidash with his now dwindling strength, sending it back toward Sereni. The Lanturn focused with a Calm Mind and opened her eyes to hit the Fire Type with a Water Gun that caused the fiery horse-like Pokemon to still at last, falling to the ground, not able to rise again. Ethfael grimaced from the burns that scalded his skin, but was still able to Wrap his tail around the Rapidash's neck, snapping it and ending the poor Pokemon's misery. He panted and Sereni leaned over, looking at his wounds with concern. "I'll be fine," he murmured, waiting for his Shed Skin to take effect and looking around at the rest of the group to see how the Guilds were faring.

Era felt a returning Helping Hand to her own, and took advantage of the moment to send a Swift infused with Thundershock at the Typhlosion. The Pikachu almost immediately after found Fang borrowing her electric charge, but watched in dismay as it began a Rollout toward them. As soon as she opened her mouth to warn Fang, the Raichu had shoved her out of the way. Era sent a Thunderbolt after the rolling Fire Type and jumped to her feet, only to witness something that caused her to stared wide-eyed with dismay. The Zangoose pierced the Typhlosion with his spear just as Fang released a-well an odd attack to say the least. The results were catastrophic: the spear embedded into the Typhlosion pierced its own master through the heart. Era knew as she watched him fall, that he was already gone, beyond saving. Her eyes teared up and she met Fang's distraught gaze. Knowing that nothing she could say would help, the Pikachu made her way to the older Raichu and simply hugged her; there was nothing to be said.
