"Like Belle from Beauty and the- Science. Science." Nyx almost let something embarrassing slip. 'Belle, like the scientist-" There was such a scientist, so maybe Faleen would buy that and not inquire further into the answer she almost gave.
The little spider clacked her mandibles together and scurried down the vent, disappeared around the corner, and came back a minute or two later. "Ktchu!"

A knowing smile spread over Faleen's lips when she heard Nyx go from the princess stories, to the name of a scientist. Remembering when Nyx has said she drew up quite fond of those fairy tails.
"I think Belle suits her" she reassured "And she's helping with science now."
she didn't look up from the tablet however, when the beacon was tested out.
"Alright, its working." She looked over to the pokemon "go ahead and head down to the spot peokemon are getting in, and stand there for ten seconds.

Belle turned around and went back the way she came. She'd spent more time in the vents today than she had in a long time; When you have a very nice web, and a steady supply of dumb rattata, you tend not to have to move very much.
"So we just... follow that thing?" Nyx pointed at Faleen's tablet. The scientist was very intelligent, but anything to do with computers was beyond her, besides the very basic use of the machines.

Faleen nodded, turning the tablet to let Nyx look at it. a small beeping red light mapping its way through a blue print of the base's ventilation systems.
"That there is Belle, once she stops we'll know where in the map the problem is. and then we can log it and check it out"
She grinned, watching Nyx to see what she though. Faleen was clearly having fun with this. acting more upbeat and talking with a tone she didn't normally have.

Eventually the red light stopped moving. It seemed like it had ended up outside of the base.
Nyx nodded at Faleen. She understood the idea behind the tracking device and the screen and the map, and it was pretty interesting. It was especially nice to see Faleen loosening up and being chipper. "Oh, it stopped. We follow it now, yeah?"

"Yup. see how we can get that sorted out."
Tucking the data-pad into the crook of her arm, lifting her bag up to sling it back over her shoulder she started toward the exit once again, glancing around the halls every now and then as she lead the way out to find the opening that Belle had shown them.
She wouldn't have the means to fix the problem then and there, but she would get the information she needed to submit a ticket to get the problems fixed.
