<You know...I think you're right,> Celty remarked, looking about as if just noticing her surroundings for the first time. <That's strange, isn't it? From what I understand, this facility is the base to Team Rocket and Team Rocket is supposed to be known for stealing and using pokemon.>

<From everything I've seen so far, though, they seem to care about their own, individual pokemon just as much as people. Except maybe for Izaya,> the ghost added, glancing at her trainer. <He's still pretty new to us pokemon, though, I think. He tries to talk to me like a human, but I think that's because that's the only was he knows how to communicate with me.>

Izaya was, by this time, slouched against the back of the couch, having grabbed one of the extra cushions at some point and clutched it to his chest, knees up to his chin. Every now and then he would absently reach out to take a chip or a piece of candy, but his eyelids were starting to droop.

<I wonder...Pygi, do you think humans and pokemons see love as different things?> the Spiritomb asked the Pidgey curiously. <It seems we all want it, so we think it's the same for us both...but what if it's not? What if the feelings we experience and call love are different from their experiences? There's no real way to tell, is there?> She supposed if there was no way to tell, there wasn't much point in pursuing the question. Still, it intrigued her and she wondered if other pokemon had wondered about it. Maybe not Pygi, since she was so young and had a lot yet to learn about life.

As the movie continued on, the main girl eventually confronted the boy after the last practice of the school play before the real performance. She asked him why he was acting so strange. Even when the 'boy' assured her that nothing was wrong, she countered with the fact that he had missed several lines and attempted to walk into several stage walls during dress rehersal. The Haunter, not thinking, stated that he was used to walking through walls, which concerned the girl so much that she summoned her pokemon to defend herself against him.

At last, the Haunter was forced to reveal his true identity, leaving the girl speechless. He seemed sad to have been found out, but was even more hurt as the girl berated him for his actions, telling him it was wrong to go around possessing people. He floated off into the night, ashamed, as the girl helped the bewildered boy to his feet and walked him home. The boy did not act grateful; on the contrarty, he seemed to have no idea of what had happened to him regarding being possessed, and he was pretty resentful to be walked home by a girl.

The next day the play went according to plan, but the girl found she was beginning to miss the Haunter's version of the boy he played. The real boy went back to being the jerk he had been before he'd been possessed, but the girl realized she no longer had a crush on him. After the performance of the school play that night, the girl went out to try to find the Haunter and discovered that he had been watching the play from backstage.

She apologized for what she had said and admitted that the Haunter had been the best friend she'd ever had. The Haunter, pleased by her apology, used his illusionary ghost powers to take the shape of the boy he had been pretending to be, nodding and smiling to her in thanks for all the fun he'd had.

The two became long-time friends, even as the girl grew into a young woman and then an old lady. When she finally died, it was hinted at that she too became a ghost, and both ghost boy and girl lived happily together for the rest of eternity.

As the movie ended and the credits began to play, Izaya's head drooped further and slumped onto Tambrey's shoulder. By his slow breathing and closed eyes, it seemed apperent that he had ended up falling asleep.

<> The little bird clearly hadn't thought about it before- and a lot of her notions of love remained somewhat childish, taken from fairy tales and other peoples' and pokemons' opinions. She did furrow her little brow and try to think hard about the question Celty posed though.
<> That was almost certainly more due to the technicalities of being 'owned' by humans though, of course; something that Pygi would probably understand more as she grew.
<>

Tambrey definitely appreciated the film, though once or twice her attention did wander as she focused on using one arm to enjoy snacks and drinks.
Once or twice she winced as she'd actually been distracted enough to forget her broken arm until that moment.
She seemed very invested in the storyline; as the ghost type was revealed and made to leave there was a slight shaking of her head and she leaned forward, hoping for a better outcome.
The return of the actual personality of the boy got quite a little glaring frown; clearly this wasn't a welcome development to the plot.
The ending though got a very definite "Aawww" and she'd been smiling, when all of a sudden an Izaya head slumped onto her.
"That was a good mo-"
Blink.
Erm, okay. She turned her head slightly to look and tried to move her good arm to very gently push him off.
It was definitely awkward and Tambrey seemed a little unsure of the proper way to deal with the situation.
"Uh!...Okay...'m not a pillow..." Yet, still, she gently said it as she tried to extricate herself carefully; apparently she didn't wish to wake him.

Celty smiled as Pygi gave deep thought to her question. She shouldn't have bothered the young pokemon with such thoughts. She had plenty of time to wonder about those kinds of things later. Still, her reply was pretty adorable. <I see. You're probably very right. Thank you, Pygi.> The Spiritomb 'cuddled' the little bird as best she could with her semi-tangible body before glancing back to her trainer, realizing he was asleep on Tambrey. She whirred in amusement, surprised that Izaya would come into physical contact with anyone, even while unconscious.

The Spiritomb levitated herself and her keystone over the the female Rocket, looking apologetic for her trainer's intrusion upon Tambrey's personal space. "Spiiiir," she said quietly, moving out of the way as the woman carefully moved Izaya off her. Having not gotten much sleep the previous night, the informant was in a pretty deep slumber as compared to his usual light-sleeper habits, and thus did not wake. Celty nudged a cushion under his head as Tambrey removed herself. "Spiritoooomb. Toomb," she assured Pygi's trainer, letting her know she would watch over Izaya and that she and Pygi could go to get some rest of their own.

Pygi chirred happily, fluffed to the ghost's cuddling, and looking quite proud that Celty had said she was probably right. The bird seemed less bothered, but perhaps with a slightly bigger ego that she'd been asked for an opinion on such a 'grown up' matter.
The bird pokemon blinked as her trainer addressed the ghost and turned to see Tambrey trying to extract herself from under Izaya.
Though she couldn't really help, Pygi hopped up and approached, watching, and then knowing she'd soon be recalled, coo'd to Celty.
<<I think Tambrey wants to leave, so we'll be going. I really did enjoy watching the movie and talking with you though!>>

Tambrey smiled awkwardly, and gratefully, to the ghost type as she came and helped get Izaya settled, laying down.
"Thanks. Y'know.. I'd give 'm a blanket or something but 's not one in here. It's not really cold anyway..." She stretched one arm and then indicated, with a headtilt, for Pygi to ride on her good shoulder.
"Have a good night, you two." The grunt addressed the sleeping human and watchful ghost type, accompanied by a chirped <<Byebye!>> from Pygi.
The bird and her trainer then making a quiet exit..
