Tobi grinned. "YAY!!! Tobi is happy!!" He said childishly. He was so immature sometimes, but that was his thing. He was the goofball kid of the group.
Deidara smiled at his best friend, then looked to Tori. "Alright. We'll see you at the tryouts, then, yeah." He said.

After School, Cuz I hate waiting...
Tori dragged Yumi out to the truck after their classes were over, and made her help find the guitar pick which had somehow gotten lost in the backseat of her truck. After they managed to dig it out from between the seats, they hurried back to where tryouts were being held. Somehow, in the few short classes they'd had since lunch, at least seventeen other people had decided to come. How they'd heard about them was a mystery, though....

Tobi, along with Deidara, Itachi, and Kisame, sat in the room where the tryouts were. Tobi was surprised that at least seventeen people showed up. He looked around for Tori, but she was probably waaaay in the back.
Deidara poked Tobi's head. "You seem eager to hear Tori sing." He said.
Tobi nodded. "Tobi really wants to know if she's good at it. She would be a great new member of the group." He said.

Tori sighed and sat down on a bench to wait. "Well, that line's not moving too fast." She muttered.
Yumi sat down next to her and pulled her laptop out of her backpack. She plugged in a flash drive and clicked open a few things, then got to work on her latest masterpiece.

The first of the people trying out went up, and, let's just say she sucked.
Tobi couldn't say anything too mean. "Well, that was a good effort, but Tobi doesn't think you're what we're looking for. Tobi wishes you luck in your future endeavors, though." He said, trying to be nice.
Deidara groaned. "I'm gonna be blunt, here, yeah. That....just...sucked. Your voice is WAY too screechy!" He said, holding his head.
Itachi just gave a thumbs down, while Kisame was so bored with the girl, he zonked out.

A few minutes of the Good, the Bad, and the OMG-MY-EARS-ARE-BLEEDING later, Tori was at the front, waiting for the last girl to finnish. She had to admit, the girl WAS pretty good.
Yumi finnished her project and closed the program, pulling out the flash drive and shoving it in her bag. "Tori-chan, can we get ice cream after this?"
Tori raised an eyebrow at her. "Do you really have to ask that, Yu-yu?"

Tobi was simply in awe throughout the entire song. It was one of those moments where you love the way someone sings a song so much, you almost imagine yourself in a music video set to that song (that actually happened to me once). He was just THAT moved! Tori was amazing!
Deidara smiled, nodding his head in rhythm with the song.
Itachi showed no emotion, but he really liked the way Tori sang.
Kisame had a massive grin. He really liked the song, too. His grin screamed "I think we have a winner!"

Tori smiled when she was done- partly from self satisfaction, mostly because Dei, Kisame and Yumi were all smiling at her- and sighed. "So, How bad was I?" she asked, half jokingly.
Yumi responded by glomping her. "I loved that one! It was the best one Death 2 Haterz ever made, and the music video rocked!"
"Of course you'll say it rocked- you made it!"
Yumi flushed, crossing her arms and looking away. "Shut up!"

Tobi smiled widely under his orange mask. "That was amazing, Tori-san! Tobi loved it! It made Tobi feel like he was in a music video set to the song! You're an amazing singer, Tori-san!" He said happily.
Deidara grinned. "I liked it, yeah. You've got talent, Tori. You're the best voice I've heard all day.
Itachi simply gave a thumbs up.
Kisame grinned yet again. "It's needless to say what I think about the song. I, however, have to say.....we have a winner!" He told Tori.

She grinned. "Awesome. So, who wants ice cream? I'm buying." She offered.
Yumi's hand shot up, and she was practically bouncing with excitement.
Kakuzu raised an eyebrow, and Hidan straightened up in his seat. "Ice cream? ******** Yeah!"

Itachi shook his head. "Can't. I've got to meet my little brother at mom's place. We can't stand each other, but mom wants us to try and get along." He said, walking out.
Deidara smiled at Tori and Yumi. "I'm in!" He said eagerly.
Kisame nodded with a wide grin.
Tobi jumped up and down with glee, and possibly a sugar rush. "ICE CREAM!" He yelled happily.

"Alright, lets go. My truck is out front." Tori smiled and grabbed Yumi, who was in the middle of a happy dance, leading the way to her truck.
