Ten heard the hologram's question.
"Who am I?" Ten asked, he did so enjoy making introductions. It was not often that he got to make a grand introduction and often had one at the ready just in case he needed it, "I am known across the universe as many things." Ten stepped forward,a bit closer to the holographic squid. "The legends of Skaro call me THE Oncoming Storm, the Daleks call me Ka Faraq Gatri (Bringer of Darkness), I am the Last of the Timelords." Ten smiled a crooked, charming smile, "Hello, I'm the Doctor. Now, the important question is this: When we are done here and the Earth is peaceful once again and the threat of an alien invasion is vanquished, will you call me friend or foe? Because you are not the first one here, not by a long shot. There have been so many before you AND" Ten made a gesture, sweeping his arms out and up. As he spoke, his voice grew stronger, more confident with each passing syllable. This was not just the Doctor, but the Timelord Victorious, the savior of the universe. "EACH and EVERY time there has been an invasion or threat, I have stopped it." Ten paused and lowered his arms, his voice growing soft, "Now, which is it?"

The two women shrank behind the men as the Doctor spoke, his voice taking on a terrifying tone.
The hologram remained silent for a few moments, seeming to be thinking then it spoke again, his tone sharp. "You are of no interest to us. You will move. We are searching for our own amongst the indigenous of this planet. Stay out of our way."

The Doctor did not move, "You will not." He said, "There are five billion humans on this planet. Five billion. Do you think that they will stand idly by and just allow you to kill their people while you search for yours?" The Doctor asked, "No. No they will not, nor will I stand by and allow it."

The holographic squid laughed. "This planet and it's indigenous cannot fight aginast us. Those little children with their toy guns proved that and you are a little insect. What do you plan to do?"
James and Edward drew themselves to their full height and scowled angrily at the squid's words. Children?! Toy guns?!
Edward, as the leader stepped forward and spoke. "We will not stand idly by and allow you to kill. By King and Country and the glorious Empire, we shall stop you!"
The holographic squid looked to Edward for a moment, smirked then spoke to him in a condescending tone. "Yes, of course. Go play with your play sets little boy."
