To grow up and become who you really are" [Shiftstar sat an acceptable length away from the warriors, completing the small circle. She gave a polite nod to Freezetail and continued to answer Tenderfoot and Ravenwing both in the same breath.]
"Actually, everything is for the most part taken care of. Cherrystem, Silverstream with their apprentices along with Griffonsea are going out for a patrol as we speak." she explained before glancing back at the freshkill pile, "And the clan is well fed! So I suppose I am here for a friendly chat." As the word 'friendly' slipped out of her mouth she flickered her gaze to Ravenwing. It wasn't an owl-stare, but more curiosity than anything.
[Having led the clan just a little over nine moon, Shiftstar had discovered that her favorite pastime was to get under Ravenwing's fur. see what made him feel uncomfortable. Perhaps she could even teach it for a few she-cats to help fend him off! What a thought that was. Three or four she-cats all giving him the same stare. But she had significantly dropped the rate in which she tormented the sleek warrior, she didn't want to completely diminish his unique ways.]   To be nobody but yourself in a world

After the encounter with the Slayers all he could think about with sleep. As he had wished, life seemed to go back to normal. It had been nine moons...nine moons since things became peaceful around here. It almost seemed...boring. Though he didn't much care what happened as long as his sister was safe. Freezeshadow was at least relieved Griffonsea was acting like her usual self again: The complete opposite of himself.]
[Freezeshadow padded out of the warriors den, dark emerald gaze taking in what sort of mischievous happenings had come over Seaclan this time. Seeing Ravenwing backed up by three she-cats made him sigh.] Do all the she-cats here fall this easily for his charms...or are they just teasing the toms today. [The gray warrior thought, looking around to see there weren't alot of tom cats around. He was at least glad his sister and Dragonfire had come to their senses and weren't anywhere near Ravenwing. Through all the noise he heard Lotuspaw's and Lostpaw's names being called out. Freezeshadow padded over to Griffonsea and Lotsupaw.] "What are you two doing...hopefully nothing to do with Ravenwing." [He meowed coolly, glancing over to the flirty black warrior. Hearing him say he would take a border patrol made his eyes widen slightly. Was he...actually being serious instead of the flirty character he usually was? Strange. Maybe Shiftstar wasn't such a bad leader. [A gorgeous dappled she-cat returned from camp, fetching earlier catches from their hunting patrol. Her friends and sister had a blast while hunting.... her deputy and new friend, Griffonsea, competed and earned Seaclan great pride with their catches. In a quite cheerful mood, Phoenixice dropped her catches on a well piled mess of fresh-kill. Saticfaction lit her icy blue eyes as she began to pad away, her ears twitched with amusement as she watched the bubbly as ever Griffonsea chat with a young cat, an apprentice. Lotuspaw, a pretty little something who always kept an over the top character. She couldn't help but smile despite the endless mewing that exchanged from the two she-cats. With great bliss, Phoenixice planted herself in the comfort of some soft reeds, curling her fiery ringed tail over her paws as she watched the clan from afar, sunlight warming her pelt.]

[Lostpaw's eyes shone with excitement, everything was happening so fast! He listened to his sister's excited babble, a purr rising in his throat. He gasped in aw and amusement at Lotuspaw's admiration for Griffonsea, but that was hypocritical. Lostpaw was also in aw at the pretty she-warrior. Her hunting skills were alarmingly amazing!]
[Lostpaw leaped to his paws, a purr rumbled enthusiastically as he rubbed his cheek against Griffonsea's left foreleg. The white apprentice was bouncing out of his fur as he circled her in overly energetic leaps around Griffonsea. Lotuspaw and him were apprentices! They were going to start their training! His mother and father were proud of him!! And Griffonsea was coming with them!]
[The white apprentice continued to bounce circles around Griffonsea, purring up a storm. He butted his forehead against Lotuspaw's shoulder, squashing his face and making his purr sound odd. His fur was sticking out in all directions, absorbing the excitement from his sister and the excited warrior. He had more energy than ever record for him before, purring very loudly.]
"Lo'uspaw! Gr'ff'nsea's com'n' wit us! Wen 're leaving? (Lotuspaw! Griffonsea's coming with us! When are we leaving?)" [Everything came pouring out, his words rumbled from his enthusiastic purr, making Lostpaw jump, eyes stretched wide in surprise.]

°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø [Tenderfoot let out a small chuckle toward's Ravenwing's response. When she noticed the black tom take a step back, she immediately scuttled closer, keeping her pelt against his for a silent form of curious support. So she didn't seem that her instincts demanded her to comfort Ravenwing she shivered lightly, obviously fake. "That breeze went right through my pelt," she mew'd in a soft whisper, hardly audible.]
[Tenderfoot gave Shiftstar a cheeky grin as soon as Shiftstar confirmed that the leader was there for socialization. Tenderfoot decided she would stay, making the fact obvious by sitting down and wrapping her tail neatly around her paws while still having the majority of her side against Ravenwing. Although she kept appearance calm and placid, there was a little Tenderfoot running around her mind squealing like a fan girl. ]
["Glad to hear it, Shiftstar, " Tenderfoot mrrow'd cheerfully, tilted her head slightly with her eyes closed, giving herself an 'adorable' expression. Tenderfoot's ears flicked curiously as she opened her eyes and followed Freezeshadow, a soft, absent-minded purr releasing. Why did she find the brooding toms attractive? Eh... best to watch from afar if you ask Tenderfoot. Then again, she was rather outspoken with her lack of filter. Especially with newly named apprentices, they're just insanity incarnate.]

[Lotuspaw purred uncontrollably at Griffonsea's praise. The beautiful she-cat really liked her! And she thought she was pretty! If Starclan decided the world would end, right now, Lotuspaw decided she'd be good with that.] "I am friend to adventurer and gladiator alike! As long as you have goodness in your heart and swear the warrior oath to this noble Clan, I am your friend. So yeah! 'Course I'll be your friend!" [Lotuspaw blinked at the words. Suddenly she started sneezing, purrs rumbling in her chest every time she could breathe. (This is her way of laughing, since y'know cats can't. @@) But thankfully, Starclan pitied the bouncy apprentice, and when the sneezing and purring died down Lotuspaw took in great lungfuls of air. So much fun already, and they hadn't even left camp!]
[A masculine mew interrupted her fuzzy thoughts, and Lotuspaw gazed up
at a large (perhaps only in her case, but still formidable) striped tom. Scrunching up her face for a moment, Lotuspaw's eyes suddenly got wide with recognition. This was Freezeshadow.] "Hi Freezeshadow! Nothing to do with .. Ravenwing? Why would I want to do anything with Ravenwing? He steals away unknowing she-cats y'know!" [Lotuspaw stated matter-of-factly, eyes flicking to the raven-black tom. Her mother had always wrought tales of his vain personality and how he lured away she-cats, stealing their hearts in the process. All in all, Lotuspaw had always got the impression that Ravenwing was somewhat of a villain. Her mother would disapprove of that sort of company. Blinking away thoughts of Ravenwing, Lotuspaw's yellow eyes blazed happily.] "Besides, I'm gonna go on patrol with Griffonsea, and Cherrystem, and Lostpaw, and Silverstream! Too bad you can't come too Freezeshadow... Oh well!" [Lotuspaw seemed truly mournful of the fact.. for about two whole seconds before getting over it.]
[Loud purring caught her attention. It seemed that Lostkit couldn't bottle up his emotions. Well, that did run in the family, no? He was jumping around like a crazed frog! Slitting her eyes with amusement, Lotupaw tracked Lostkit as he bounced around Griffonsea. She purred loudly as he rubbed her shoulder with his face. Sneezing at the weird sound that was supposed to be a purr, Lotuspaw nodded at his words. She tilted her head in question towards Cherrystem and Griffonsea. When were they leaving. She idly padded over to Lostpaw, not really realizing she was doing so. her eeys remained on the two she-warriors however, as she began to smooth down Lostpaw's tufts of white fur that reminded her of long white brambles.They definitely didn't hurt as much though.]

[Foxbeam chanted the two new apprentices' names with the rest of her clan. A whole nine moons passed and in that time she had become a warrior along with her siblings. Speaking of Sunstream, the calico she-cat decided to find him. She hadn't spent some real family with her brother in a long time. Finally spotting the familiar yellow tabby, she padded up to him and flicked her tail against his neck. She laughed softly and stood beside him, gazing at the apprentices.] "Remember when that was us?" [She asked, remembering the day they got apprenticed. She dreaded her mentor, Sharkhail, she was too harsh but it paid off. She's pretty good at fighting and hunting now. Though she would never tell Sharkhail that. Sighing, she looked at her brother and smiled. He reminded her so much of their father, the one her mother fell in love with. Not the annoying and harsh Redfur, but the loving and sincere tabby. Shaking off the thought, she looked back at Sunstream and awaited his answer.]

Sunstream
[Sunstream faced his sister as she came up to him and started blabbing about the day they were apprenticed. He glared blankly at the calico she-cat.]"No, I try not to remember my days as an apprentice. Only now and my kithood are what matters most."[He said tartly. The only reason he hated remembering the days he was an apprentice was because of his father. His father's death. Everything about the ginger tabby. It was a living dark forest those days. But somehow, Sunstream was able to make it through and get over his father's death. He had realized something. Redfur was never a father to him. While The yellow tabby was observing training sessions, Redfur never told him how proud he was. In fact, the only time he could remember his father ever acting like a father was when he was attacked by the snake and throwing up in the medicine den! And even after he died, did the fatherly figure ever visit his own son? The one who had looked up to him? The one who looked almost exactly like him? NO! The thoughts of his father made him want to.. Kill something. Something that reminded him of his father. Actually, EVERYTHING that reminded him of Redfur. They were no good, they had to die, die at his claws. Looking up at his sister, he grinned, and got up to his paws.]"Foxbeam, I need to talk to you in private. Follow me, please?"[He said politely, padding off into the territory.]

What could be going on in Sunstream's mind? Shaking off thought, she shouldn't be worrying about her brother. He was perfectly fine. Suddenly, he asked if they could talk privately. She nodded slowly and began to follow him towards Seaclan territory.] "I wonder what he wants to talk about." [She wondered, padding after Sunstream.]

Breathing deeply, she opened her mouth and began to talk.] "Sunstream. Tried. To. Kill. Me." [She meowed in short breaths to her mother. Looking at Rainface, she waited for her to react to all this.]

He sighed, now seeing the two newly apprenticed kits were acting even more crazier. There was never to be any peace in Seaclan, was there? He put a heavy tabby gray paw on Lotuspaw's tail so she would at least stop and at least look at him. Freezeshadow brushed the young she-cat's ear with his muzzle as he spoke.] "It is fine. Besides, there has to be warriors guarding the camp so you may have a place to return to." [He murmured. He let go of Lotuspaw's tail, letting out a sigh. The two apprentices reminded Freezeshadow of his time as an apprentice, when he was at least sane, but still happy. Now the tides had turned.]
[Freezeshadow caught Tenderfoot's playful green gaze, wondering why she was even watching him. Was she already getting bored with the chew toy Ravenwing? Whatever, as long as it had nothing to do with him. The gray warrior stalked to the fresh kill pile, picking out a small water vole. He crouched down to eat it quietly, keeping an eye on the patrol that was about to leave. [Ravenwing blinked when Shiftstar said that everything had been taken care of, with Griffonsea and some other apprentices going on a patrol. Mmhmm, that was nice. But a friendly chat with Shiftstar...whether that was nice or not was very debatable. At that moment, Tenderfoot scuttled closer and pressed her pelt against his, complaining about the apparent chilly breeze. He responded by giving a soft, purr, letting her feel the rumble deep in his chest. He looked across to see her "adorable" expression, and deciding that two can play at this game, his expression turned into a soft, almost helpless look as his tail curled itself around her rump (since they're both sitting). He didn't miss the glance she gave Freezeshadow - heck no, that grumpy tom wasn't getting this pretty fae next to him. Best to distract her while he could. "So Shiftstar... He meowed as he promptly got up from Tenderfoot's side and began to make high-stepping paces towards his leader. If she was in a good mood, he figured he would take his chances with her. "How's your day been going so far? Busy? Need a stress relief?" He stopped as he stood alongside her, a little closer than what he would normally dare - he would try his chances, but...not anything drastic yet. [Hearing a familiar voice behind her, Rainface was lost for words. Her own song tried to kill his sister? For what reason? Wanting to freak out, she instead stayed calm and stared at Foxbeam with wide blue eyes.]"What? Explain everything, tell me what he said. And once you do, go straight to the medicine den. I'll tell Shiftstar. Oh dear, I raised a monster!"[She said, worry in her voice. The warrior ended up wailing that last sentence. She had truly raised an animal. Clearing her mind, she couldn't find anyone else to blame but Redfur. Was her former mates ways getting a hold of Sunstream?]

'Ohh.. Tenderfoot you vixen you- use that one again sometime.' Tenderfoot praised herself silently, Being lost in thought, it took her a few moments after Ravenwing moved from her side to actually realized he moved away from her.]
[Both astounded and confused by the lack of fur next to her, she found herself looking at the ground where Ravenwing had just been sitting. Her mind took a few moments to catch up before she was looking at him, standing next to their batty leader. Tenderfoot's eyes glinted with envy before being replaced by her hurt pride. ]
[She couldn't even bring herself to lift herself to her paws and trot away with her diva like swagger. She opened her maw for a moment before she closed it again with frustration, finding no proper words to compose herself. She cleared her throat, jealousy levels rising at an unmatched speed.
