((If its ok with you Strait, I'm going to post once for attacking the vine and another time for fishing! Keep it organized~)) Before Belladonna could properly gloat over being at least partially right about what he had been hiding (and certainly not taking the time to pause and consider that obviously the Naiad was NOT in the greenhouse) the witch was distracted with a chest falling from the aforementioned greenhouse. To her ever delight, a number of clothes tumbled forth and the witch in turn drug Whisper over to them. (She had made a partial friend and was definitely not going to let her go.) "Don't worry Professor! We'll get you all dressed up for your lady!" The witch chimed, flopping down on the green-deck and pulling out a number of clothes. It took her quite a while to finally amass what she deemed a proper outfit for the teacher and after giving a nice pat of "thank you for letting me sit on you, you darling thing you!" to the plant covering the ship, Belladonna stood and present her outfit to Professor Cadmus. Once again the witch was not given time to relish her victory as the Venus Flytrap decided to attack. With a great huff of indignation, Belladonna stomped over to Amrita. "Leave her alone!" Belladonna shouted to the vine that was wrapped around her ankle as she raised one foot and stomped the thing. But apparently the vine was stronger than she for it didn't even flinch. Surprised by this, the witch took a step back before letting out a terrified shriek and dropping to her knees, her hands grabbing the vine and pulling. "Nooooo!! Let her go!!" She shouted, but to no avail for she was just too weak. Now was a good time for the witch to pause and sheepishly smile at the little ghoul. "Oh! Your feet are on backwards!" A little giggle slipped out as the witch continued to pull on the vines.

... Steve? The plant's name was Steve? Malodore, sadly, added Cadmus' name to the already very long list of Amityville Academy professors who weren't entirely sane (or, at least, didn't follow ordinary logic or common sense). Learning to fish was a useful skill though, it supposed. Maybe. Belatedly, its eyePhone vibrated against its bony arm. Malodore hurriedly retreated from the still-cranky Steve and tucked itself into a corner where it would be free from irritating vines. Only then did it quickly tug the phone free from its sleeve and poke at it carefully. It had seen other students using this form of communication, of course - especially Jericho and the witch-girl - but it had not had a reason to utilize it itself before... A few minutes of vaguely perplexed poking ensued, until, at last: Text from Riley I saw your plant boat. Take care not to poke any holes in it. Resta sicuro, caro mia. Mi manchi.Ah! How splendid. Malodore smiled to itself as it tucked its phone away, then lashed its tail at a few vines that were getting too close for comfort. It would have to think of a good response after 'Steve' was properly neutralized.

"Nice to meet you Amrita." Cyrilla returned to the smaller ghoul, still grateful for her interference with the whole fire issue. However the loud snapping and popping noise caught her ears and her head fins pinned back. Cyrilla was certain it was fire, and took a few steps back before vines started reeling out from below deck.
"WHAT THE JACK?" the dragon ghoul yelped, before thrusting out her wings behind her. Okay fine, whatever. Not the first field trip where they had to fight something. Likely not the last either if things kept up like this and it was any sort of indication.
Seriously, there had to be a way out of these 'mandatory' trips.
One of the long vines came thrashing down towards her, and she didn't take the time to snap up anything. She had claws, fangs and a tail... though claws were quickly the weapon of choice as she sliced at the vine, grumbling and adjusting her sash to not lose her eyephone along the way.
Unfortunately for the dracolich, her claws didn't seem to do =anything= to the plant, and it whipped around, taking her fet out from under her, letting her land on the deck with a loud thud.
"Jack damnit!"

Landing on the deck a fair distance away from the giant plant, Jericho shot Cadmus a strange glance at his name choice. Regardless, the thing needed to be knocked out somehow. He was, however somewhat relieved of the fishing lesson, regardless of how strenuous it was. It meant they had some meat finally. Though, it was a pity the fish was primarily for the plant. Still, he wasn't going to complain. It was better than being stuck with vegetables all the time. Once he was done, he let out a breath and grabbed one of those cups Cadmus had set out for them. It really didn't give him much of a boost. Around then, he finally checked his phone to see that he had a text from Riley. New Text Message To: Riley Yeah. A Naiad is guiding our boat. Cadmus's giant plant decided to attack us and he had us fish. Hope your fog clears.

Belladonna's attempt to help her was greatly appreciated, though it sadly yielded the same results as her own attempt. The vine hung on tight to her ankle, but it wasn't pulling or flailing...yet. Still, the little ghoul still tried to pull the vine off of her, tugging at a different spot from the one the Reaper was pulling on, looking increasingly uncomfortable.
Then, the observation.
"...Th...They are?" She gasped out, her head snapping down to stare wide-eyed at her raised heels. Were they backwards? They couldn't be, they looked the same as always! Tilting her head like a confused puppy, she wiggled her toes against the deck. "N-no, they're o-okay." She stated with a bit of relief. No, her feet weren't backwards, they were fine! Just fine. Whew. Belladonna was just imagining things.
"Oooouch, are you okay?" She asked rhetorically, gazing over at Cyrilla, who shared her fate in being thrown to the deck. There was a thoughtful hum as she thought about it, looking at the curling and gripping vine that fought Belladonna's grasp.
Hum.
It didnt occur to her that she should be more worried about this...
"Excuse me please." Hoping she wasn't offending the witch, she shoo'd her away and then started to shimmy closer to the dracolich, pulling the clinging vine along with her.
"Umm! M-may I borrow your claws?" Sure, she could have asked Jericho or Malodore, but Cyrilla was closer, and in the same predicament. If the dracolich were to look down, she would see that the little Vetala was actually holding the vine against herself. "I-it's thinner here, s-so..." It was a quick, murmured explanation, but there it was.

In the end, her valiant attempts to save the little girl only proved in being confused and shooed away. So, in an effort to save face (and not show that her attempts at friendship had been... Less than lukewarm thus far) Belladonna only nodded, mumbled a small "Yes, sharp claws and all that!" and grabbed up a fishing pole. The act of catching an animal to feed to something else made the witch feel a little worse, so she stumbled over to the teacher and took a small cup full of potion. A mumbled "Thank you" was all he received before she downed the thing, took a deep breath (she STILL wasn't feeling as good as usual, what was with these field trips?!) and walked back over to the side of the boat. But before she could do any sort of fishing, the witch paused and turned back to the teacher. "Um... Professor? How exactly are we to fish? Just... Toss the line in there and hope for a bite?" She had never really fished before... Taking a quick moment to check her phone, Belladonna saw the message from her beloved and felt only slightly more comforted. Quote: Good! And what all is going on on your ship? We've been attacked by a plant, I've made no friends and now we're fishing. Or will be... I believe I do not fancy boats. That little cup of potion had done nothing to improve her mood, so the witch turned to Jericho. "Who are you texting? A lady friend, perhaps?" She couldn't help but wiggle her eyebrows in attempt of a joke. After all, there was still time for socializing and friend making! (Hopefully...)

She was once more pulled by Belladonna, already getting used to the ghouls ways. She didn't really mind, and if it made her feel better then by all means tug away. Whisper had not a lot of skill when it came to fashion, so she let the ghoul take charge. The outfit she had come up with was quite impressive, she had a good eye indeed.
When Belladonna ran off to aid Amirita, she decided to follow. Whisper did her best to fend off the plant, but seemed as though it had no effect. She stared at it frustrated. She wanted to at least loosen its grip on the poor girl, but nothing. "I'm sorry...I can't seem to get it off..."
Perhaps she could help in another way. She saw the girl moved to the dracolich, and then saw Belladonna move to get a drink. She managed to grab three cups, one for herself and the two tied down girls. She took them over and placed the cups down by them. "I hope this helps a little, I can't seem to do much else for you..."

Looking up from the phone, Jericho blinked for the moment. Well, Riley was a lady and she was a friend... but he had a feeling Belladonna's words were potentially hinting at something else. He had missed the eyebrow wiggle, so he couldn't tell how serious the witch was with that question anyway.
"Eh? Well sort of. It's Riley," he replied. Seeing how he hadn't gotten a response back from the Mindflayer yet, he guessed that she was busy.
If only he knew.
In the meantime, it seemed that Amrita was having some difficulties with the plant. Frowning, the dragon went on over to see if he could help free the girl somehow.

Cadmus paused briefly at the young female witch piping up about getting him dressed for his lady. He was baffled at her words but payed no real mind to them. He was unsure what lady she was talking about but it was no matter possibly she'd gotten to much sun? He shook his head and then raised an eyebrow at the outfit she had constructed. He then sighed heavily as the students failed to make any real progress with Steve, and to add to his dismay his cigarette had burned down to nothing. The day was just getting better and better and it hadn't been that long into it all yet. Noting no one had said he couldn't use his fear he frowned. Doing nothing but standing still it took only a mere matter of seconds for his scythe to appear. He smiled glad to have his friend with him at his side. It was a shame he couldn't summon A Phelix as he could his scythe. He swept his scythe about and pointed at the Venus Fly trap with a very upset frown on his face. "Steve your lady plant would be very displeased to find you not in the greenhouse upon waking. I suggest you move back in." Steve seemed to make a low growl but receded away from the students. "You'll be fed later so long as you behave." Having the plant going back toward the greenhouse Cadmus turned once more to the young witch Bellabonna (as is on the roster xD) and really felt dismayed at the question she had asked prior to him making the plant recede. "Okay well I guess I should have explained the homework better. To fish you but bait at the end of that line and them you throw it into the water."Game TIEM! Yeah again xD This time your goal is to catch a big fish, I mean we are in a large body of salt water so large animals do inhabit the area. Fish. Yui liked fish. Rather a lot in fact. Since the Professor had taken care of Steve, she simply turned her mind to the task of catching some tasty, tasty fish. Even if it would most likely go to the plant rather than herself. Grabbing up a line, she carefully baited the hook at the end and tossed it into the water. With luck, she'd catch something worthwhile.
And even as she stood watching her line, she allowed her mind to drift a little. Except for the weed boat and clearly hungry plants, this wasn't such a bad trip so far. Granted she wasn't exactly making friends here, but she was patient and preferred to watch and observe first anyway. It saved so much time and trouble that way.

(( Blade kuroda - Thanks!)) Well since 'Steve' had finally been subdued thanks to Cadmus stepping in, Jericho went on and took a line to get fishing. Planting himself next to Yui for the time being, he waited to something to bite. Several minutes went by and it seemed like nothing was really interested in taking the bait. However, his line soon gave a tug and the dragon found himself reeling in something. It was a decently sized fish from what he could tell, and he felt fairly proud of it. Though, he felt he could have caught something bigger still.

((Mine is AyeAvast ! Thank you!)) It was probably a good thing that Cadmus had refrained from using Belladonna's name that was on the roster, otherwise she would have probably had a tiny fit that would surely have escalated into something more drastic, given the high tension of being at sea. But in any regard she was blissfully unaware of the problem, instead only smiling at him, giving a curtsy of thanks and toddling back over to the fishing supplies. She grabbed three more poles, darted over and hand one to Whisper, Amrita and Cyrilla[]/b]. "Sorry I couldn't help with Steve... Fishing should be fun though!" And with that she darted to the edge of the boat, baited her line and tossed it over.
For a little while there was nothing and Belladonna was even starting to get a little annoyed that the others were having such success and her bait seemed so unworthy of even a nibble. After ten minutes of just standing there, staring out into the ocean (an action she would have found much more calming under normal circumstances, rather than she did currently) she finally huffed angrily and pulled her line up to be sure nothing had stolen her bait. "Oh! I caught something?" She mumbled with a bit of surprise as she pulled the line up and laid the tiniest fish she had ever seen in her entire life on the deck. "Well... At least its... Something..." Belladonna was torn between being proud of herself and just giving up and taking a nap in the cabins.
((Oh that sneaky roster! Getting her name wrong!! XD ))

"Oh." Amrita started, blinking as the vine let her ankle go to disappear elsewhere. "Um. Well. N-never mind, then!" She said as apologetically as she could to Cyrilla, climbing back onto her backwards feet to dust herself off; a useless task, really. Her attention was then caught by Whisper, who had been kind enough to bring the potion for them. She offered the girl a shy smile, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Th-thank you! For this and, um, for trying." Because they all tried, and most of them didn't end up so well.
Next, she had a fishing pole and some bait handed out to her, both of which were held incredibly awkwardly while she took a moment to watch everyone else do it, first. Monkey see, Monkey do.
Pressing her lips together, it was time for her to give it a shot of her own; after putting the bait on the end of the line, she wound up like she had seen the others do...
But instead of getting it into the water, the bait flew towards Yui's head.

Whisper gave Amrita a kind smile in return, and spun to see Belladonna there with a fishing rod for her. "Oh, hey, thanks!"
She followed the girl over and decided to cast her line beside her. Well, that was until her line got tangled. She pulled it up rather frustrated and plopped down trying to untangle the knot. However, no matter how much she tugged and pulled, it would not loosen. "I guess I won't be fishing for now...Hopefully you guys can do better."
Whisper gave a small giggle and watched Belladonna pull up the small fish. "Better then nothing right? Hey, can I call you BD or something? I think its adorable...but if you have a preferred nickname I can use that too."
