He listened to the argument going on and after a moment set a reassuring hand on Denebola's shoulder as he stepped up beside her. "The princesses may not have done anything for us in this life but we know they have done so before. Even now they still do something if only standing as beacons against the darkness giving some of us something to believe in when everything else seems so corrupted and wrong." He wasn't sure -he- really gave a damn about the princesses themselves but there was one thing he could believe in. The princesses were always the most powerful of the Senshi and most often had crystals of their own. If nothing more they -were- a light that the other Senshi could follow even if all they were following was the ideal of a Princess.
"She is telling us something. It might not be what we want to here but it is something never the less. If you go around ignoring things you hear just because they're not what you want then you deserve whatever happens to you for being an idiot. All knowledge is helpful." He resisted the urge to look at Ares. He'd seen her before and she'd done nothing but be rude every time he'd seen her.
"She's at least right in one way. Unless we're united and we truly believe in what we are doing we stand no chance against the Negaverse. I've seen what they can do .." He shivered slightly at the memory of the Youma-armed woman he'd run across. "They are united far more than we are. They all fight for one thing and they will get it unless we can all unite. We may not have to like each other or have the same beliefs but we must all turn our minds toward one shared goal."
Or they'd die. What Sidra said was true and it was something he had thought on before. They had to follow the light that the Senshi stood for no matter what. "Whether the Princesses are here or not we still must fight. We are the ones fighting. We have the powers to protect what we want. Not just some princess, or prince. Us."

MuCephei had been quiet till now, her hands demurely folded before her in the curves of her skirt...whatever Galaxia was, clearly it unerved N...Cosmos...or "Nearly Cosmos", who still registered as the friend of a friend, that fact alone made MuCephei want to like her, it was just the way of things for her.
"...We need to have faith in ourselves as well, not just the princess... I... I have offered my help to ChibiMoon." She glanced at Ares and then away again, she wanted her friend to know, even if Ares might never speak with her again for refusing the Blood Moon Court, so ironic that she was the senshi of 'blood'.
"But what everyone has said is true... many of us lack the organization that they clearly have. Their military...and we, we're chaotic. We have infighting and differences of opinion, and we need to put that aside if we -ever- hope to beat that. We must support each other as well as the civilians we are trying to protect, regardless of our means of protecting them. Without...some kind of ability to rely on each other our numbers don't mean anything. We all -do- have leaders...so long as we have a team If you don't have a team I suggest you start one...and soon."
She paused nervous to speak again and found her confidence.
"We can't wait forever... for the princess, we WILL find her but we can not let her absence be an excuse. The heads of the teams or a representative could meet if we must as well, that would keep us all from being in the same place at the same time but then we'd be able to share information WITH our teams... I don't mean to preach...It's just, I don't feel it's a good enough reason to be loosing."
//Nova... hadn't she had brown hair before? The girl with the cardigans and cute clothes, always volunteering. She'd never seen anyone's hair change color that way.//

When Sidra spoke, Ares did not relent or step back. The only sign that anything the girl had said mattered at all was the gradual narrowing of her eyes. Loyalty? This child was questioning her loyalty. It took every ounce of strength she had not to rebuke her right then and there, but Sidra had information that Ares -- no, that the Blood Moon Court needed. She wasn't about to let her pride keep that from them.
Sidra was wrong, she told herself. She was dead wrong.
Love and light would save them all? Hugs and kisses and puppies? Ares hadn't tried hugging the goodness into any Nega that had tried to rip her starseed our, but she had a funny feeling it would not work. "It was so nice of you to show up here," she said cooly, and nothing else.
Other chimed in, speaking of disorganization. "Speak for yourself," she said suddenly. "We are not all without teamwork, organization, and leadership. You want us to follow princesses, Cosmos? Well, then show me one who is actually capable of fighting. The last time I saw Chronos in battle she put herself in a protective bubble and then did nothing. Chibimoon? Well, I would think you and I both know that she hasn't exactly been playing on our side for very long. Her last great act was to lead us here to Elysion, right into ambush." A hand slashed the air. "Show me a princess who is capable of winning this war, just one, and then I will gladly through my lot in beside hers. But I cannot -- and will not -- follow the two princesses who have proved nothing to me, to anyone."
Ares folded her arms.

Oh no she didn't.
No she freaking didn't.
Sailor Juno had been exploring the temple among the growing group of senshi fairly silently. She taken the cryptic words of the unembodied voice into consideration. It was the sort of information that the princess would likely make more sense out of then she could. So she'd simply been searching through the crowds for her pink haired princess.
Or Helios... Juno wouldn't have bet against Chibimoon hunting out her old friend before the rest of the group had.
But the trash talking had not gone unheard by the fledgling senshi of the canopy. She whirled around in position, eyes searching for the voice spitting hate, narrowing onto the super senshi clad in black. She'd heard just about enough of people bad talking her princess. The true princess.. daughter of the moon queen. Who were these naysayers? Had they really done any better themselves? Had they done even half of what Chibimoon had ever done for them, or were they just whiny little bitches pissing and moaning because everything didn't go perfectly as they expected?
Juno didn't apologize as she shoved one figure out of the way to get through.. and even bumped another. She stormed up to Ares in her self righteous 'tirade', pausing for only a moment before she lashed out stupidly, sending her fist at the other senshi's stomach with an accented growl. "Watch your mouth!!"
"Small Lady may have made some mistakes but we are all human people. Maybe you should prove yourself so great before insisting everyone else have to do so."
Right.. light and friendship and kindness. It was clear they had that in abundance.
((Feel free to lay some beat down Akina love ;D ))

Metallia.
Chaos.
Princess Chronos had been quietly listening to the conversation in a corner, accompanied by a sulky looking Flora, who had been hissing in her ear. "Why are so many people here? Helios won't be happy. Especially with her." She jerked her head towards Ares, the red-haired senshi, but Chronos barely paid attention to this. The name Chaos had sparked many memories within her, some that seemed hazier than others. Closing her eyes, she thought, and it some semblance of recognition drifted into her mind. So focused she was that she didn't notice Ares speaking about her, but Flora did.
Eyes blazing, she stepped out beside Juno, attempting to pull the other senshi back, leveling Ares with a glare. "I'd appreciate it," she said in a low tone, "that you would cease talking about the Princesses like that. You have absolutely no idea what they have gone through. I'm sure you wouldn't want any of us speaking of your Princess or Queen, or whatever you called her, like that." She didn't like Ares, but she didn't exactly dislike her either. Now though, it seemed to be leaning towards dislike, sparking a voice in her mind going, 'This is probably why Pegasus doesn't like her'.
She drew in a deep breath, and turned around to regard all the senshi standing there. "The point is," she said fiercely, "if you want to declare your loyalties to whichever Princess or not, that is your problem. The Zodiacs and the Seasons choose to stand by our Princess, and that is a matter of our court." Flora steeled her gaze, as if daring them to speak anything nasty about her Princess once again. Her expression softened as she looked at Castor, a small smile signifying her gratitude that he, at least, had stood up for Chronos. "I think the most important thing is that we band together and fight. Against this... shadow thing. If we're going to divide ourselves arguing about following which Princess or not following them, we are being utterly stupid. We have to work together. Despite our differences, because we're ultimately on the same side."
At this, Chronos' eyes snapped open and looked over to where Cosmos was, her gaze thoughtful. "Chaos is an extremely old evil. It will always be there if we have darkness in our hearts. And there will always be darkness, shadows cast by the light. Still, we have to stand together, hand in hand and always counter it." Hold the line. That was what the Zodiacs had done in the past, and it was a good motto to uphold. "I know very well that you all have no obligations to follow me. I am not asking you to. My intention is only for that to ally the Zodiac Court with the other Senshi; it is what my cousin would have wanted."

"You say chibimoon hasn't done anything but I think your wrong." He finally did glare at Ares this time."True leading us here didn't end up how we wanted but it did gain us something."
He looked around at the others for a moment "The Negaverse knew of this place somehow. Had Chibimoon not brought is here we may never have had the chance to defend this place from them. The Negaverse could have slaughtered those here right under our noses. And youre okay with this because you don't believe in her? No, we are here for a reason and I for one am glad she brought me here. Thanks to her I have a chance to drive them out of this place."
He shook his head."I may not believe in whatever claim she has to being our princess but I at least believe she is trying her best. Something all of us should do every moment we get. She believes in something and is willing to fight for it. Is rather fight beside her than you any day."

Denebola almost snapped at Castor and it took all of her self control not to. It wouldn't do her any good to get into a fight with the Eternal senshi, they had different views and she couldn't really argue against him. The zodiac's had Chronos, she was the princess of their court, Chibimoon was a princess of a future court, not her court. She had no loyalties to either and while the princesses of the past had been helpful and while the current princesses had the potential to do more she had seen nothing of it.
"I thank Princess Chronos for the help of the Zodiac guard and the seasons, their numbers are helpful indeed but she is not my princess. Chibimoon is not my princess either," she stated as coolly as she could. As far as she knew her princess, which she assumed to be Serenity was not here and that was all she was focused upon.
It was Arsinoe's hand on her shoulder that prevented her from going on. It was a tired subject, one not even worth fighting so she stopped. "I am here to fight and defend." It was as simple as that.
Sidra's solution nearly baffled her, "Love? Love is how we're supposed to defeat this shadowy cosmic force?" It was laughable to the senshi. The statement about darkness in their hearts made her shake her head. As humans it was nearly impossible to not have some darkness in their hearts, they were human, aliens even, but not saints.
As her companion spoke she listened thoughtfully before voicing her own opinions. "They sought to drive us out, how do we know that they did not come upon Elysion because of us?" She chewed on her bottom lip. "What if it was our energy signature that led them here?"
They were not innocent, it was clear that none of them should be here.

-Polaris listened with pursed lips as the group fought back and forth. Debate wasn't necessarily a bad thing.. but when everyone just acted like children and nothing was accomplished because of it.. well then it was just unrefined and tacky.
Funny though, she couldn't help but think... wasn't it the black senshi brigade who had dragged everyone into that super amazingly fun coma incident? Polaris vaguely remembered information on that being discussed among the Bastards. A little bit of pot and kettle there wasn't it. But Polaris wasn't in this for a fight, and she really didn't care either way who was the princess of what. When she finally responded it was in more a bored sigh then anything.- "Perhaps we should focus less on who is or isn't in charge and more so on solutions like Castor said."
"If anyone has any good information on what exactly we need to do, or what happened in the past that might give us a clue of what to do, well that's far more worth our time to discuss."
"Any information really. The shadowy new enemy. The crystals. The new monsters popping up in Destiny city that seem to mirror what's going on here."
-Juno was saved from making anymore a fool of herself by Flora's grasp and then words. With the other members of the quartet fairly MIA she often felt responsible for the princess solely. And with as hard as Chibimoon was on herself, hearing others speak so poorly would have been crushing. Juno realized however she wasn't quite so alone as she thought as others spoke in defense of the princess.-

Hugbell watched the fighting and seeing no one had answered her she began to frown. She saw Iris and Metis, but she also saw Polaris. Whom she scurried to hide behind, as the others bickered.
"Iunno why we're fighting each other, Chibimoon's not that bad..." She piped up from where she was now hiding, "She taught me some things, not much.... I still don't understand why we fight though...." She paused, "I try though... even if I usually end up needing to be saved."
She paused, looking around. "I want to help, I just... dunno how besides breaking falls with my teddy bear." The chibi senshi paused again, "I-I'll gladly hug any negaverse if they don't have scary arms.... specially if comfort helps the cause... It made Scheelite feel better when he was sad." She finished words slowly quiteing as she began to wonder how many that knew her would scold her for actually having done that.

Themis' answer to Hypnos was a very simple one. "My partner." And it was so odd that a tiny 7 letters long word could have so many meanings.
But then the voice spoke again. Metallia ? ...What's a Metallia ? God damn it, why did none of this s**t come with a handbook ?!
And then, predictably, everyone started to argue, again. It was always like that, and if it hadn't have possibly sent the chibi senshi on his back tumbling down, he might have rubbed his temples.
"Maybe if they all stopped arguing for 5 minutes, we might get somewhere." Themis muttered.

"True," Bellatrix replied. "best to take anything said with a grain of salt though. Call me paranoid, but I'm done simply beleiving anything we're told anymore."
Still, the information was all well and good for the team to sift over. She had a feeling the Basterds would be in need of another meeting soon. Not that it was her call to make. Still...it suprised her that Europa hadn't called for one after the first Elysion battle.

A couple of people had backed her, MuCephei, Castor, even Juno. Juno did not remember her, then. Pros and cons to that situation, but Sidra was mostly relieved by that fact.
"I am not asking you to follow any Princess blindly, only to follow the beacons of light when they come. Any of you could be Princesses, any of you could carry a great crystal, as yet unawakened. But when those filled with light come, will you allow them to take your heart and lead you to victory? Or will you doubt her courage, her faith and her actions, because you feel that what you do is more necessary to win this war? Your actions will win no war, Ares. Absolutely none at all, not with the darkness that is in your heart. I cannot purify it for you, your actions are your own, and I caution you, for all the good it will do. The further you walk down this path, the further you will be from your Princess and what she could have been."
Standing a little straighter, Novos turned from Ares to address the other questions that had come her way. Questions, not demands.
"It's definitely not about hugging the Negaverse, though I applaud the idea. Just as darkness can enter our hearts, light can still enter theirs, and they can be brought to our side. We had Kunzite, for a time; she killed me, and for that I thank her, for it allowed me to come back to you and try my hand at standing here with you all again," moving closer to Castor, and further from Ares and her group, Sidra went on, "I've seen love turn people to the light, so it is not out of the question. It's a rare soul that can love with corruption on them, truly love someone over being who they are. Don't ever lose hope."
Turning to the rest of the room, Sidra squared her shoulders, and tried to speak to the crowd in a bellowing voice, but it wasn't all too loud, just a little louder and squeakier than usual.
"You all want to know how to defeat Metallia, Beryl, the Negaverse. You want the cheat codes to this game, and I can tell you right now, there aren't any cheat codes," Cosmos had tried that once, "what will defeat the Negaverse is what resides in your heart, your hope, your faith, your dreams. Not who has the bigger gun, or who can tactically out manoeuvre the others, though you can try those if you wish; if that is what brings you comfort, than all the power to you. We do have leaders, they are all around you, but we need to have faith in ourselves and what we are doing before we can truly lead. But take the leap of faith, find someone who brings you hope and comfort, and follow them in to the dark. We must be, as a whole, more organized, more willing to work together, more willing to trust one another."
Stopping for a moment to catch her breath, Sidra looked around to all the faces, and knew that a lot of what she was saying was not getting through, was being viewed with distaste and mistrust.
"I cannot tell you everything I know. This is sort of like Hercules, you know, the cartoon? No one could tell him how to be a true hero, only you can find it yourself. I once was a true hero, but that was long ago, and I have made more mistakes than all of you will ever make, but I still believe in you all, and I believe in your powers, your hopes, your dreams. Whether you want to deal with me or not is your own problem, but I will promise you all this. No matter who you are, no matter what may have happened, I will protect your souls till the end of time. You won't know it, you won't feel it and you may in fact not want me to, but I will protect you from any ill wishing to distinguish your light forever. I cannot offer you more than that."
And with that, Sidra crumpled in on herself, so very clear on what they must all do themselves without believing a word of it herself. The ultimate hypocrite, Sidra did not believe in herself, or have any dreams to speak of, just a world of sadness with tiny pinpricks of light that she clung on to desperately. She believed in a lot of them, believed that they were stronger than she was, that one day one of them would achieve lambda powers and she could cease to be the figure that she was.
It was lonely standing on the precipice.

Well okay, there was at least one part of... Nova's ? Cosmos' ? Oh balls. Well, one part of the pale haired girl's words he could believe in.
Find someone who brings you hope and comfort, and follow them into the dark.
His hand had instinctively reached out for Bellatrix's as Cosmos spoke those words.

Even from the new distance away from the main conversation, the yellow suited senshi could tell when someone insulted her. Especially when the offender looked at her and said "No offense." So with a flick of the wrist, she flipped Castor the bird. She hadn't really heard much of what he said, but you didn't say no offense at the end and get away with it.
After holding her hand up for about a quarter of a minute, Iris brought her hand back down and went back to her conversation. Everyone was getting all feisty over the subject of princesses. Iris had her own opinions (as everyone was entitled), but they remained bottled since for this eternal senshi, there were other problems that needed addressing with her small team.
Continuing with her low tone, she answered Metis' question. "Apparently she was able to sense Parthenope in the real world, but only found him in Elysion." After all of the time that ********* had referred to the group as her girls, it felt odd referring to another teammate as a male. "Apparently he was in a similar boat as us... awakened before meeting *********. However, he was not very cooperative..." There was a slight pause as a green haired senshi seemed to cause a bit of a commotion in the other conversation. If only Iris had been paying more attention, she could have rooted for Greenie like how high schoolers cheer on a random fight breaking out in the hallways.
"Parthenope killed someone right in front of ********* eyes. After she had begged him t'spare that person's life... he still went ahead and did it." There was a lengthy pause. The sort of pause where it was obvious that the speaker was trying to think of what to say in the right manner. It was a long enough pause for more of the Princess talk to touch both of their ears, but it was not their main focus at the moment. Eventually, the senshi of rainbow's voice coarsely told her teammate exactly how she saw the situation. "He's tryin' t'play a f*ckin' rogue senshi an' doin' whatever th'hell he pleases." For a moment, her hand planted itself upon her side. Hidden under the fuku was a decent sized bruise from when she had fought him in Elysion. He was a rogue senshi that knew how to fight. Straightening up her body so she was at her full height (no slouch), she finally resumed a less quiet voice. "********* is okay... but she has been in a mood lately..."
It was the sort of mood where eating and sulking was pretty much all she was doing.

-When Hugbell drew close and then behind Polaris, the super senshi's shifted a little arm looping around the younger girl in a half hug.- "Hi sweetie"
-She certainly understood the desire to hide, and really it broke her heart. This was hard enough for adults and almost adults. Poor little Hugbell.. and all the other preteen senshi that'd been wrangled into this battle.
As Cosmos spoke, she offered a smile and nod to the senshi of comfort again. It was a little disheartening to hear that things wouldn't be as easy as they might have hoped. No cheat codes. The thought of this battle going on for years was unnerving. Would she be a 40 year old housewife who moonlighted as a champion of justice? Would she even live to 40 if this went on that long? She pushed the thoughts away for later, when she was alone. Instead her eyes went back to her companion.- "It will be alright in the end. Even though it seems scary now. We just have to stay together and stay strong like she said."
-It seemed lucky for Hugbell that Polaris hadn't registered the whole 'fratinzing with the enemy' comment.-
