Aoibheann stepped forward and reached out. Her hand made contact with the barrier. She felt rather than saw the barrier ripple as old magic met old magic.
She stood back impressed. "This barrier can't be broken with normal magic. Blood used in magic is like a contract with magic itself. Extremely powerful." she said calmly.
"Who's in there?" she suddenly called out, looking straight ahead. She could feel the presence of the one inside the barrier.

Almost appearing out of thin air, Lazorus appeared before the man and woman. Blinking a few times, the First Lieutenant noticed that the two were in the midst of trying to get into the Blood Crystal room.
"Uh oh. This isn't good. You two shouldn't even be here! Don't you know only certain people are allowed into that room? I mean, seriously! Who'd wanna go in there anyway? It's a endless soul sucking void of death! Now, You should really leave! Man.. People going where they aren't supposed to. What's next? Are blue cats going to start turning into people and asking if we have any milk!?"

Frowning, Tuomas ventured slightly closer to the door separating him from the intruders. He could easily hear Lazorus' ramblings from the other side.
"This room is off limits to guests of this castle. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but it is truly for your own safety."

"If the barrier sucks souls then who is speaking from the other side? I need to see this power." Thinking carefully it may be more wise to attempt this later with less people observing.

Aoibheann laughed. "Blue cats don't turn into people, but they'll gladly ask for milk." she replied.
"The things in there aren't supposed to be in our world." she said in a very low voice. She sounded almost sad.

Hearing the other voice, Tuomas responded.
"My name is Tuomas, I am a mage here in the kingdom as well as an alchemist. I will not be harmed as I am immortal, though I am afraid not in the same sense as others. I am still human, not vampire."

"Alright then. I shall withdraw for now" Using his Vitae Nero using a ritual of reverse conjuration to send all his pets away. "Goodbye... Path of Mercury!" Nero teleports back to his room.

Aoibheann ignored the vampire. His flamboyance was irritating.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Tuomas, but it seems I must leave." she replied to the voice.
Turning to Lazorus she smiled. "Would you ascort me back, like a gentleman? Or maybe I should go to the main gate and enter the castle from there, as I should have?" she mused. She smiled and, before their eye promptly disappeared.

Not hearing anything else, Tuomas cautiously came to the door's threshold.
"Lazorus? Is everything alright out there?"
Turning back toward the numerous blood crystals, Tuomas bathed in their crimson glow and breathed a sigh of relief.
"It looks as though we may want to place some extra guards outside of these doors. Would that be possible? I cannot remain in here for eternity."

Suddenly, a loud crackle burst out from a hallway to the right, and smoke crept outwards along the floor, leaving behind a filthy black soot. *cough cough* A tall, lean man stumbles out from the hallway, coughing into the sleeve of his black, worn trench coat. As he controls his coughing, he looks around, obviously very confused as to his surroundings. His eyes fall upon Tuomas as Toumas steps out of the barrier and he freezes. His eyes widen and his fists clench tightly. "Who...who are..you?"He asks, choking on the works, obviously gripped by fear.

Slightly startled by the loud noise and appearance of the stranger, Tuomas took up a defensive standing.
"Calm down, sir. My name is Tuomas. I am a resident mage of this Kingdom. You are intruding into a very dangerous room."
His eyes creased in worry as the largest crystal in the room began to give off an ominous glow, threatening to rip the man's soul from his body.
"I must ask you to step back out of the doors."
The youth pushed the newcomer out of the path of danger and back into the hallway, quickly shutting and sealing the door behind him with a hurried incantation. After seeing that this was properly done, he turned back to the man and bowed.
"Forgive my rudeness, sir. However there are very few people who are able to enter that room without escort and remain amongst the living."

The man shakes his head, startled by Tuomas' words. "My...my apologies sir. I never had any intent to intrude." His fists unclenched and he eased slightly. "Truth be told, i have no idea where I am. My masters old teleportation spell occasionally, misses its target shall we say. Where am I?"

Tuomas nodded, understanding very well what he meant. There were many times in the past where his spells were slightly off.
"You are currently beneath Rosencroix castle in the Rosencroix Kingdom. Is there any way I may assist you, sir? Perhaps help you to where you were originally planning to teleport?"
