Scarlett looks around while holding Chris's hand. she didn't want to get lost or anything in this strange place.s he was used to the other world so it wasn't as scary to her as this place was. Crystal then pokes her head out and Scarlett said "hey Crystal you still scared?" Crystal didn't answer but puts her head back into Scarlett's backpack and that was that.

Course it looked a bit bigger than Zyphre, but truthfully, Tyalle didn't give a care. So she said nothing about it. Zyphre narrowed his eyes at the new dragon. An action that seemed rare to Tyalle, for Zyphre was never one to get mad unless there were certain circumstances. Which meant that this was one of them. "Zyph?" She asked Zyphre, using a nickname for him. He shook his head before looking at Tyalle. "This dragon told me that his master wants me and my master to join him or that he'll kill both of us. Which I find to be bother stupid and wrong of him." Zyphre told Tyalle. Tyalle's eyes widened a moment before she began to laugh. She couldn't help herself. It was just plain stupid.
When Tyalle finally managed to stop laughing, she looked the dragon straight in the eyes. "I have to say that I want nothing to do with your stupid head of a master. I live freely here and have for quite awhile. I know this forest like the back of my hand and the forest has come to accept me quite well. So I dare you to try something. I have a feeling this forest will back me up." Tyalle told the dragon coldly. Zyphre snorted out steam. "And for the record. She isn't my master. She's my best friend. We're both on equal footing here. She doesn't boss me around, and I don't boss her around." Zyphre broadcaster openly, letting both Tyalle and the dragon hear him.

Chris sighed, a small town meant there wouldn't be many real restaurants, if any, and the only place they might be able to find out anything about dragons would be a library, if they had computers. On the other hand, it would be a lot more awkward to walk into L.A. in their current state, bit of a curse and a blessing.
"How far is it to L.A. exactly?", He asked, "Do any cabs or buses come out here?"

Sentiao gave a dark and evil smile 'you say you love to run around freely, my master can give you and entire country to run around in. it would be yours and only yours but if you disobey him he will not only kill you he will burn down this forest you love so much.' Sentiao slowly moved to the side of them

"Well...it's about 2 miles of empty farmland...and then a forest. The forest is about 3 miles long and then L.A is about 2 miles away from the forest...cabs don't come this far into the country..." she said as she sighed. They would probably have to walk if they wanted to get to L.A.

"Great..."
That made 7 miles altogether, it was was a manageable distance, but still, his parade could use an umbrella. Hitchiking was obviously out of the question. Nevermind the normal dangers, doing it with a trio of dragons totally destroyed any possibility of it working out.
"Guess we'd better start walking then...", Chris said with a sigh before stopping abruptly, "... Lead the way", he finished, realizing he didn't know the way to go.

"Okay..." she said as she began walking down the road, towards the farmlands. She wished that L.A wasn't so far away. Nia wanted to come out of the bag, but she didn't know if any other humans were nearby.

After about one and a half miles, the forest was in sight. Praveena smiled a bit, at least they were out of the farmlands.

xoxoxoxoȾɏɐℓℓɇxoxo xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo Ðȑɐɠѳᾗℳɐȿțɇɍ ❝ℑ Ƚike Ӻun ℑ ℳy Ƚife ℳore Ⱦhan Șafety.❞ Tyalle narrowed her eyes at the dragon in front of her, as Zyphre growled under his breath. To Tyalle, it wasn't that he'd threatened her, it was that she'd threatened the forest. Whereas, Zyphre was pissed that this dragon in front of him was threatening Tyalle. Finally, Tyalle let out a deep breath. "I don't want my own country. I'm perfectly happy here in this forest. There is nothing wrong with it it whatsoever. You better not try anything. Besides, I highly doubt you could do anything to this forest. After all, this is the dragons' forest, nothing can harm it other than the ancient dragons can destroy it." Tyalle told him coldly. Zyphre uncurled himself from Tyalle's neck and growled at the dragon again. He kept his eyes on it and narrowed them as the dragon moved around them.
Tyalle's eyes darted around the area, looking for something to use when fighting the stupid dragon near her and Zyphre. She hated people who did stuff like this. Humans made no sense to her. Which is why she usually stays away from them. Though she knew that if she mentions it, Zyphre would point out that she was human. But Tyalle didn't believe that anymore. She was in tune with nature now. She could almost speak to the trees now. And hunger never bothered her either. She noticed what she'd been looking for. But she didn't do anything yet. She waited for the dragon to try something first.

"... But then we stopped arguing and decided to take a look, and there were two horses in the barn, so I said to the guy, 'Now can I have my hat back?'"
Chris laughed a little at his own joke, but that quickly faded as the forest came into view. It was difficult to stop himself from running into the forest now that he'd spent so much time in them, their current area was much too open for his liking. The forest meant about 5 more miles to L.A., and the trip wasn't bad so far, he was looking forward to it.
I don't get it, Mir piped

Praveena walked into the forest, feeling a bit more safe now that they were under the cover of the trees. Nia poked her head out of the bag and smiled along with Praveena as they both felt the cool shade. Finally...we are out of that wasteland... Nia said to Praveena.

"So...", Chris began awkwardly, "Where are you from?"
He was looking to break the silence more than anything, but he truly was a bit curious, and it would help Scarlett get to know her too. Any stories Praveena may have would certainly keep Mir's attention as well, he was looking forward to experiencing the city.

"Well...I was born in the country...in Italy. Then when I was 5 my parents moved to London so I pretty much grew up in London." she said as they walked. A sort of melodic European accent was noticable in her voice. Nia was listening. She looked up at Praveena. Hmm...I never knew that...

"In London? That must've been nice, it's a beautiful city", for some reason Chris had a bit of an affinity for Europe, "I've always wanted to go there myself, but I've never been able to" Until now, he realized, he could just go there in an instant.
What was it like?, Mir asked Praveena, the first time he'd ever communicated with anyone else directly, Chris noted.
