 "Are you sure, its pretty far." Tyler replied to Audrey, Then he helped Cody into the boat.

 Nyu held up the peice of fabric to the boy. "You want this back?"She asked with hestation. She really wanted to keep it but she knew she should probably return it.

Tyler was shocked when the girl popped up out of nowhere, and even more so when she pulled out the piece of fabric that ripped off his pants. "uhhh..... no you can keep it I guess." he said.

"Yeah, I'm sure. I'm a good swimmer." she told the boy and started backing away in the water still facing the boat though.

Nyu smiled. "Thanks! Umm...What's your name?"Nyu asked with a blank expression. She turned around and saw Audrey backing up. Thinking she should follow her lead she began swiming backwards as well

Tyler looked at the girl, "Im Tyler Aragona" he yelled with a smile. Then turned to Cody, "Lets get going" then turned and started heading towards land.

Not really being careful Audrey suddenly turned and dove under water her purple tail flashing out of the water before she went back under. She felt the siren song building in her head and she didn't want to sing before those two were on shore again.

Nyu's cheeks warmed and turned a light pink. "I'm Nyu!" She called back before they could get their motor started. She held the peice of fabric even tighter now. Nyu felt like she was the only living creature in the world as she floated on the gentle waves of the ocean. She heard Audrey dive and followed her lead. Nyu couldn't think for herself at the moment, since she was in such a daze so most of her actions were now based completly on instinct.

Tyler turned around and saw Audrey's tail, "Dude did you see that" he said to Cody.Then rubbed his eyes thinking he was imagining things.

Cody looked at the water, he didn't see her, heck he was still disorientated from the boat crashing into the reef, "See what..." He said looking around but then walked to his boat getting on after he had gotten some things from his boat.

"Nothing, I was seeing things" Tyler said rubbing his eyes again, "lets get going" he started the motor then they were off towards land.

Audrey swam and then hopped up onto an outcropping of rocks on the side of the harbor. She could see other sea creatures and merpeople and water spirits and more all coming out for the night. Although in the water around the rocks none of them came close. There was some unspoken social barrier about the Siren. No one ever came close to a Siren or spoke to them friendly if at all. She sighed and let her tail hang over the edge of the rock as she sat there. With a solemn expression on her face she sang the siren song. It always made sense to her but it wasn't really words or anything it was just haunting notes coming out of her mouth today. Every now and then words would follow but none in today's song.

Tyler heard a strange song and was attracted to it, he stopped and turned the boat into the direction of the song and started to go to it.

Nyu watched as Audrey went to her usal spot away from everyone. She hated how everyone always went out of thier way to be rude and nasty to Audrey and made sure that she never forgot what she was. Nyu's floaty feelings were now replaced with anger and disgust. She wanted to join Audrey where she was but was stopped by her grandmother before she could get close enough.
"I was worried sick about you! Where have you been? I hope not with that siren again. Good for nothing..." Her grandmother's voice began to trail off as she mummbled to herself. Nyu looked up to where Audrey was and sighed as her grandmother led her home to begin preprations for tonights party.
