Ah, I'm glad to hear that this change only applies to those born after 2009. That makes much more sense to me then scientists just waking up one morning and saying, "Let's rewrite astrology!!! : D"
I'm a Scorpio, and I haven't always liked being a Scorpio (it's not too fun when your church group decided to look up a Scorpio's 'love' section... @___@;;; ) but I wouldn't like being a Libra either. Because, strangely enough, Scorpio is the only sign that seems to fit me. Sorry, Libra; you sound awesome and all, but you just don't match me. ^_^;;;

Just cause some random scientist decides to change the horoscope, doesn't mean I'm gonna listen. Im always gonna be an Aquarius because the description of Capricorn does NOT fit me.

Most horoscopes go by solar signs and not lunar signs. Nothing's changed in solar astrology, the signs are still the same. Don't fret girls. ^_^

I'm supposedly Ophiuchus --- snakes are adorable and I love 'em, but the sign doesn't fit my energetic/free-spirit temperament whatsoever.
(I am a healer of the heart, though, and a seeker of wisdom...)
Nothing "changed" over-night, though..
The sun has always passed through that constellation, but it has traditionally been left out of western astrology.
The traditional system is related more to constellation "seasons" than measurable increments.
Since there's always been "rising" and "falling" signs, no one truly has a "set" personality on there sign,
and the outcome used in fortune telling has always been subject to inaccuracy because of it.
Personally, the 13-sign system seems more accurate, as it virtually eliminates the "in-between" signs...

I'm still a Sagittarius! :D
I got reeeaaally lucky, though, 'cause I was born on December 18.
If I was born on the 17th, I would be in between a Sagittarius and an Ophiuchus, and Idk what that would make me. o_o
A...Sagittarichus???
Whatever, I'm just SO relieved my sign didn't change.
Sorry for those whose did and aren't happy with it. :C
But, how do we even know if this change is official and accurate?

I dont think it should affect people who were
born before the new zodiac appeared
because we were born before the zodiac signs got all messed up
XD
its like at my old school when i was a freshmen
they decided to change the amount of credits you needed
to graduate to 26 instead of 24 for the students coming in
the next year
even though they changed the number of credits needed
the people who were already at school before they changed
the policy only had to get 24 credits in order to graduate
while the new people coming in had to get 26
XD
so its the same thing really
the old people who were already there keep the old policy
and everyone that comes after them changes to the new policy
so as long as you were born before they changed the signs
the new signs shouldnt really affect you :3
