What he was saying to her drew a surprised blink fro her, her arms tightening around her pokemon. "Wh- no your not, Your not evil Sorano." Why would he think he's evil? He was a kind man, he had always been kind to her. She was cut off though, when he called Never out, and black smoke suddenly covered the two. "Sorano! Wait!"
Vahy'n kept her trainer from running forward, shooting a water attack into the smoke, but they the time it went through, the man was already gone.
Rosie stood, alone, with her pokemon, people walking over to check on her, while others called in the emergency, the sound of sirens already ringing through the streets. She stood, still, before a heavily charred home... once beautiful home, staring at the spot a man she had considered a friend had been moments before.
Brow furrowing in pain, she sank back, sitting back down onto the concrete next to the male Pikachu that had been left behind and coughing a couple of times, her throat stinging from the fire. The act devolved into quiet sobs, an arm reaching up to cover her eyes.
Kiss Kiss hopped out of her arms, looking up at Rosie sadly.

Max breathed heavily, the tightness in his chest making his wheezing loud. He hacked a bit and sighed, waking slowly as blue eyes opened to the scene in front of him. What happened? Where was Lennyka? Where was Sorano? What why the house black? Why was . . . Rosie? Why was she crying? What he didn't question was . . . the future from now on was brighter for him.
"Mm, Len, you made it right on time." replied the cranberry haired grunt. "I was about to issue a late report."
"Oh shush, Lola." Lennyka replied and stretched her arms over her head. "Hurry up and sign out, I've got filing to do."
"Roger, roger."
