"It couldn't be that bad..." Sonja maintained. But the urging of her two companions encouraged her to relent. "If not the mountains then to the swamps?" she shifted to fly towards the fogy, marshy lands. "They look nice an creepy," she grinned.
"They sounds a little better than the icy mountains," Aydan had to agree relieved he would not have to thaw out a Sonja-cicle. "And maybe take a break sometime after that?"

"Yeah..." Aydan agreed quickly. "I don't think we want to spend a night in the marsh lands. Unstable ground, dense vegetation, and who knows what else we might find there."
Sonja warm laughter echoed through the skies as she looped around him, "You almost sound scared Aydan. Don't worry, we'll protect you, right Val?"

She giggled. "Of course we will. But still, I don't like getting swamp muck all over my wings," she made a face.

Sonja wrinkled her nose at the thought of unknown swamp "muck" staining her crimson feathers, "Good point...maybe we should keep a nice distance between us and the marsh?"
"That sounds like a good idea," Aydan promptly agreed before changing the subject before the others could change their minds. "Velika, I know you said you were new here as well, but what parts of this land have you seen?"

"Well, I visited the mountains for a brief time. That's now I know that it's so cold," she admitted. "And the swamps. Didn't much care for them either. I've also visited the forests to the west."

"They might help us avoid trouble later," Aydan agreed gently.

She giggled. "Well, there's a lot of trees in the woods. It's really very shady, but it's hard to fly. The trees are too close together in some areas. But it's very pretty. The swamp's the same, all mucky and treey. But it's got some interesting nooks and crannies to explore."

Sonja smirked, "Let's see it try to eat me..." She eyed the upcoming swamp and grinned at the others, "Ready for some fun then? As long as I don't get slime on my wings."
Aydan shook his head, "Maybe we can limit our visit to the swamp land?"
