Bubbles Bubbles was startled but was not able to dodge the first couple of hits, the beginning of the Energy Squall hit him and that is when he made his move, he appeared to teleport and appeared behind the robot facing away from him, his clothes flashed and he turned into his Karma form. His hand was behind him facing the robot. A round pink beam appeared and fired at the robot, a Vanishing Beam. Bubbles hoped it would hit, as his hand was maybe a foot and a half away from the robot, though it probably had extreme speeds or techniques that could teleport him. 105 words 11442 in all

The robot's body adjusted completely, the moment the technique hit Bubble's defense dropped considerably in order to match the robot's weak defense. Of course, this wasn't to say that it was going to be able to dodge an attack like the one headed towards it now. With it's minimal increase in speed, the robot ducked backwards, unable to correctly dodge the vanishing beam, the blast struck right across it's neck and shoulder, sparks shooting around it as pieces of metal melted under the strength of the ki attack. Of course it's power levels were much greater then that of it's opponents. A single hand shot forwards, it's body moving, registering to the attacks the opponent was making, as it's own abilities constituted into itself. It had been created as an Equality, it's powers extended further then the powers of the parasite through some tinkering of it's own robotic structure. A transformation became present as it's clothes changed in a way that actually distinctly resembled Bubble's own Karma Transformation. With a metallic grinding sound, the robot shifted forwards suddenly, it's arms actually snapping apart and becoming four arms as each arm rose upwards and grabbed hold of the four blades on it's back. Drawing them forth as a buzzing sound filled the room. The Red Ribbon Army had taken a look at Reaver's main weapon, Trunk's Laser Sword. Using the technology from the weapon to form replicas for some of it's robotic warriors. Equality was one of them, each humming weapon would be able to cleave through almost anything easily, burning away at flesh and disintegrating things that they struck instead of simply cutting them. Suddenly the robot vanished in a flurry of sparks and was then directly upon Bubbles, continuing to make the two of them equal, while keeping it to it's own advantage, just as it was programmed. It had first equalized the basic concept of their custom made transformation, and it was now equalizing the gap in their technique abilities. The Instantaneous Movement technique, to be correct. Thus it was gone, and then back again within a second, each of the four laser blades of pure plasma, stretching over a meter from the hilts of the weapons, cascading forwards in four separately directioned slashes in an attempt to actually dice bubbles into small chunks.

Bubbles Bubbles sighed in relief as the attack actually hit the robot, it caused some damage but not enough to get worked up about. Though he started to feel weaker, not his Ki though, he felt like the energy volley did more damage than it should of. It seemed like it made his resistance to attacks lower. He then watched as the thing appeared in front of him, this time his clothes resembled that of Bubbles. As he saw the robot, Equality, swing the laser swords, which he held with the arms that he made by splitting his old ones, at him, not having enough time to move out of the way of the attack, he held his hand forward, this was the hand that was left open, not the one from the last attack, he did not have enough time for that. His energy flew from his palm and formed a ball. Bubbles wanted the swords to hit the ball, this would immediately cause the ball to explode, it would effect both of them, though this was just to stop him from getting hit by the robot which would most likely make him weaker, this is what Bubbles realized was the worm taking effects. 204 words 11646 in all ((How much did he lower the stat?))

[Defense dropped by 2. To make Defense equal.] Whoops, it would seem that Bubbles had a trick or two? The extended hand's attack would catch the Robot in it's explosion, sending it backwards as well as damaging Bubbles, which was obviously the intention anyway. As the Robot rose upwards, it's body's odd clothing sizzling and burnt, with small cracks forming around it's body from taking the explosion head on, the Equality extended all four hands, with blades pointed forwards towards the opponent. Each weapon glowed with a faint light of ki, before a single ki blast formed within the center of the four blades and was launched forwards rather quickly, aiming to over take Bubbles and incinerate him the instant that it struck him. What was interesting about this, was that it's body actually seemed to break completely as the blast was released, an outer shell falling away from it's body, which would be the odd clothing it wore, revealing nothing more then pure robotics beneath. It's stats would change immediately too, going from it's high powered stats to a much lower stat, which would be odd to say the least, considering most transformations took the opposite route. By raising and twisting the blades around it, Equality released a second wave of ki, this time heading outwards in a full circle around the area, and ripping apart anything that wasn't created to be generally unbreakable. Though it had weakened considerably, this meant that it could use it's own powers to the fullest, and as such it would cause the opponent to drastically weaken until they were even once again. Why make someone stronger, when you could make them weaker?

Bubbles Bubbles looked at the beam that formed and then fired at him, this was a problem, he thought he would extend his body and create a hole in the middle allowing it to fly through, though when the outer circle attack appeared Bubbles knew he was screwed. He closed his eyes and disappeared. He reappeared above the robot. His antenna flopped in front of Bubbles' face and he held his two palms out. From the antenna a red ball formed, from his right arm a blue one, from his left one a yellow ball. The energy balls quickly swirled into the center and from it Bubbles fired a white beam with mixes of red, blue, and yellow. In side the energy ball was heated energy, cold energy, and pure energy. With the power of fire, ice, and lightning this was Bubbles' signature attack, the Tri-Mastery Beam. When and if hit, the robot would freeze before being shocked, this would cause the ice to break but a fire to start where the ice once was. Though he was not sure his plan would work. His clothes were ripped revealing his armor, this was from when he was hit by the energy volley, though it was just now showing. 207 words 11853 in all

The robot was struck by the beam almost immediately, it' body being torn to shreds through the impact itself. The moment the body hit the ground, Bubbles would feel an odd power rush through him, to an extent it was just like the effects of the parasites from before, although to a much lighter degree, and for a much shorter period of time. Quote: Bubbles acquired the parasite Post it in the TC, and someone will take care of it. None of these words can be used for anything and I'm sorry for the delay, things got busy for me.

Kawari had slipped into a natural rhythm soon after putting distance between herself and the first drone she had eliminated. By now, the entire world was this forest, and the drones the only other beings worthy of her attentions. Her focus had been brought to bear solely on this exercise, she was fully sublimated into her role. All thought given to the REMFs was gone from her computing centers, she was focused purely on the matter at hand. That matter was a simple, black and white mission. Eliminate the enemy, and their base, and protect her own base. that was it. No quarter would be asked or given, no mercy was to be had. She continued to stalk forward, letting her sensors run purely on passive so as not to generate enough of an energy signature to give away her position. She had heard rumors that the think tank had been developing newer and more powerful scanners. She didn't know if it was true, of course, but on the off chance that it was, she would have to assume her opponents had access to that same technology. If so, then her position might already be known to them, and she might be walking directly into a trap. Paranoia didn't flare up inside of her, however, instead she kept herself calm, cool and collected. It wouldn't do to let emotions get the better of her, she was almost entirely mechanical, and as such, emotions had as little to do with her as with a tree. She operated under much simpler parameters, that of cold and perfect logic. Oh, there were times when an irregularity in her system led to a less than ideal operational choice, but these were by and large infrequent. Any further self-contemplation would have to be set aside for another time, however. For now, her sensors had detected a higher degree than usual of metals and other inorganic compounds. Could it be that she had already found her opponents' base? Such a fortuitous turn of fate would make her own mission that much easier. But even so, she had to proceed slowly, she couldn;t just rush in, guns blazing. She needed to do some more reconnaissance, make sure that this was the enemy's actual base and not a decoy set up to distract her. As well, she needed to find out if it was guarded, and if so, just how well. If there were too many targets for her to take on at any one time, she would need to find a way to divide and conquer, seperate the targets so that she could deal with them one at a time. Continuing to stalk forward, she let her movements shift into the slow and steady, yet slightly erratic. She waited for the wind. Each time it blew, that was when she took a step, each time the shade shifted from the artificial sun up above, she let her position shift to stay secluded. This consumed less power, which in turn kept down her heat signature, to further aid in not being detected. It was not completely foolproof, of course, but it was a fairly intense skill to bring to bear, one her foes might not be expecting. And if it was successful, then it would let her get much closer to the enemy stronghold than any of the other methods she had considered. Of course, if it failed, that would be that much more ground she would have to cover to get away from her enemies, to regroup and make a second attempt. But no matter, this risky plan still held the best combined ratio of success, both for eliminating the enemy base, and for taking advantage of her strengths. As a party of one, she could move faster, unencumbered by a slower unit or a supply train. In turn, she could also set up something more akin to a proper ambush, if desired. So far, she hadn't discovered the patience for such an option, but that would make a fine fallback plan. In the time that she had these thoughts, only a few seconds had passed, and she had not gained much ground. There wasn't much wind for her to work with with this method of subterfuge. But she couldn;t rush, she had to proceed in accordance with her plan, divergence now would only risk all of her progress for only marginal gains. So instead she forced herself to remain calm, and stick with the plan. Moving slowly, being patient, and letting things proceed as nature, or rather, the programs installed to simulate nature, dictated. Eventually, she did make it to within a few feet of the base's exterior walls. It was a simple enough affair, though still far better than her own meager collection of supplies had allowed. The enemy's greater number had included a larger kit of supplies at the start of the games. That had factored into the handicap rating she had programmed into the machine, when selecting the difficulty. This much of a difference would challenge her, force her to think strategically, but was still within her expected range of strength. She was expected to win this, though by it's end, she would more than likely suffer no small amount of damage. And then, it was time! Giving no signal toward her actions, she instead simply plowed directly into the wall, trusting in her own considerable strength to be able to simply bull her way through. The wall was built well, but in the end, it was just a wall built from several sheets of metal, plates welded together with a rapidly dwindling supply of solder. She knocked the entire plate over, knocking a large hole in the foes' perimeter. Before it had even stopped moving, she had rushed even further into the base, scanners instantly going to full readiness in search of her targets. Tyhey were flagged with red warning icons, and various target lock sirens wailed inside of her head each time one of them brought their weapons to bear on her. It seemed they each had long range weaponry at their disposal, while she had been given nothing. No matter, she was already close, now she just had to make the most of it. She rushed forward, putting her discretionary energy reserves into speed, knowing that dodging the incoming gunfire would serve her far better than simply dealing more damage with each strike. This was a war of attrition, after all. So she collided squarely with the second drone, and just like the first, she noticed the sheer asymmetry of it's design. It's arms looked like they had come from two seperate models, and they very likely had, while it's legs were nothing more than omnidirectional treads. Good for maneuverability, but they suffered greatly when in a location such as this, with loose grass or other detritus that could get tangled in the spokes and axels. Unfortunately the drone still recieved a secondary perk from that design. That of stability. With a single massive tread for legs, it was almost impossible to actually knock them over, she had to settle with just knocking into them with enough force to leave a large red paint wound where she would have normally dented their chassis. They were already lowering the bore of their gun, aiming it at her with all the mechanical precision of any of her kin. That much she could respect. With the battle logarithms already in place, she suspected there would be no friendly fire accidents. But at the same time, none of the drones would shy away from sacrificing themselves for the success of the mission. She didn't give her target a chance to use their impressive weapon, she shifted into a dodging routine even as she darted in again and again, continuously letting out a punishing barrage of sudde, sharp blows to the various joints, the weak points of any organism. Even something with so much armor needed points to move at, where the armor would by nature have to be weaker. How else could it be expected to move? And in the end, that was the second drone's downfall, through no fault of it's own. Soon, it, too, had it's optics die down as it slumped forward, another drone 'dead'. That just left three, two of which were already firing at her. Kawari dodged wildly, careening off the walls of the base, using the reflected moemtnum to retain at least a portion of her speed. This was risky, because it still gave her damage, though not as much as even a single blast from any of the firepower directed against her. Even one shot, if to a vulnerable area, would be enough to end her run through this game. So she kept moving, focused on eventually getting close to a third drone to try the same maneuver. Normally the drones had self-learning functions, but against a tactic like that, there wasn't much they could implement weithout stopping firing at her. This, in turn would give her a chance tog et closer, and plunge them right back where they had started. And the fault of this lie directly with their well-built base. Without more room to move in any direction, they were limtied in their options. Kawari, on the other hand, was using that same limitation to her advantage. She rushed in once more, ducking low to avoid a volley of light darts from a flechette cannon, feeling her back get peppered with flecks of paint from shrapnel damage. The damage was worth it, she was able to tackle into the third drone, and this time knock it over with a satisfying clang. She went down with it, lashing out in a series of moves that belonged in a street fight rather than any school of martial arts. That was fine, whatever worked was the rule of the day. She wasn't able to finish the drone before it forced itself back to it's feet, however, and she had to go back on the defensive, now opting to spend a moment gathering herself, hiding behind the drone she had already taken out. It wouldn't suffer any real damage from continued bombardment, but it would protect her from the same. That made it valuable as a shield. She waited as long as she dared, letting her energy reserves build up a buffer for the upcoming sortie, and only when they had reached a solid thirty percent did sheactuively try to break free from where she had ebcome pinned. After all, with two drones firing at her, she couldn;t just rush out mindlessly. What made it worse, one of them could maneuver into a more favorable firing position while the other kept her confined. This wasn't her best choice, though it had seemed it at the time. She looked around hurriedly, looking for anything that might help her. A hole in the wall, a fallen weapon, anything. But no, the only thing enarby was, wait, that could just work. Not having the luxury of checking her numbers, Kawari had to grab it and instantly go into the fire. Hefting up the entire wall plate she had knocked in earlier, she held it up like a portable though unwieledy shield, as she rushed one of the drones. She could feel the impact of dozens of flechettes and bullets striking the sheet. In a normal combat situation, it might have already been blasted to pieces. And in fact, with the wardens that were installed, patches where the metal had been broken were being voerlayed in her vision, to make it seem more realistic too. There wasn't much elft to her shield, but she hung onto it, until finally she ran right into one of the drones. They had tried dodging, but only succeeded in turning away, to present their slightly more armored side to the blow. This stopped her from doing the full force of damage that her attack might have allowed, but it did allow her to render her opponent unable to fire at her for precious seconds. She let the plate fall once more, and renewed her assault on the drone. It took only a handful of strikes to finish it off this time, thankfully. That just left the last drone, then the fifth drone, wherever it currently was. Out in the field, no doubt. Though if she suspected correctly, it would have already recieved the distress signal from the others, and begun coming back as the last of their reinforcements. If she could just finish up this last drone before the fifth arrived, then she would be in a prime position to win the whole game with one last battle. ------Will continue later--------- (2127 plus 3317 is 5444 out of ???)

Teila flew from Skull Valley a gnawing at her stomach she had the utmost faith in her sister’s abilities but she couldn’t help but worry about her the Scouter had picked up another signal in the area far above them, sort of like a carrion bird waiting in order to pick at the fetid meat of the conquered warriors. Teila shuddered the mental image of her sisters battered and broken body making her heart ache but surprisingly to her the image did something else past the broken scared feelings was a small fire of anger… a thought in the back of her head that any who would reduce her to such a state would be lucky to find themselves dead by the time she got hold of them. Teila grimaces as she spots the Red Ribbon Base on the Horizon. Plucking up her courage she sped up her flight and swooped in on the Base with ease. She tapped down onto the ground lightly and rested a hand on the hilt of her sword as she approached the doors, though looking around she noticed something odd there was no sign of activity here… she turned on the scanner and tried to sense any power levels… nothing… was this place… abandoned? Teila forced the immense doors open her saiyan strength beyond that of the doors ability to keep itself closed. She walked in cautiously scanner on and actively searching for even the minutest trace of activity. This was crazy… had they moved out? Had they abandoned the project when she woke up? Were they afraid she’d turn on them or was she right and they knew she had and left, though… these thoughts were running through her mind as she crept through the building? Teila was actually floating at this point so as to make absolutely no noise as she explored the building. Finally she reached a familiar part of the building it was the room she was born in it was a vague memory but in the corner of the room there was a vague light source approaching it she saw it was a computer, in reality she hadn’t spent much time around them they didn’t have them in the village she was in thought she’d noted the way the Scientists used them before and she could read. ‘Subject 2: We have high hopes for her to be a success so that 0 might become a reality she is the reason all of this is being done after all. These imperfect Bio-Saiyans are far too unreliable after the failure with the first we had planned to take precautions with the second though… she too awoke prematurely… though she lacked the anger of her ‘sister’ and seemed at first to be completely devoid of intelligence though remarkably she seemed to be able to learn completely by watching us in a mere hour she had mastered speech and learned several things without our prompting or Mental programming…’ Teila squinted at the screen… she… didn’t… have that information installed into her? This was… confusing… was she smart or something? Or… something caught her eye, ‘Mimetic Intelligence’ she stared blankly. And saw the rest of the document was gone. She moved about the computer for a while, and managed to find something strange… Subject 0… she clicked into the file, but it was password protected. She grumbled to herself and looked to the set of files next to it and clicked into Subject 1 though in quotations was ‘Sayla’ this interested her of course she clicked into it but… it too was locked but why not hers? Teila stood from the computer and stared at it this was also so crazy… but it was then she saw it… lower in the desktop was another file… ‘Subject 3’ she reached out for the screen but suddenly there was a massive shudder through the room and the faint sound of an explosion. Teila wasn’t about to wait around and get buried under the earth. She ran, well flew out her speed was quick her impending doom a good motivator as she flew out she was well past it but as she looked back it was soon engulf in the self-destructive flames… it seems that she had missed her chance to get her revenge but she has got her answers it seems she wouldn’t mind calling this one even… though… they blew the place up… id they know she had returned to this place to destroy them?

Fifty two years ago, at a location hidden away in the mountains, far from the Red Ribbon Base...
An old man stands in front of a computer monitor, a cane in one hand, and his other hand typing away at a keyboard. Every now and again, the snow haired old man coughs, indicating sickness, and a strain to breathe. He looks over to an object over to the side, his tired and old blue eyes full of content and accomplishment. His face is old, wrinkled, and speckled with age, and covered by his large white beard. His hair fell to his shoulders, and his beard fell to his upper chest. The old man wore a white lab coat that had an 'L' emblazoned on the left breast. Nothing in this laboratory was Red Ribbon Army. In fact, everything that existed within this lab was the exact opposite of anything that the Red Ribbon Army was, could produce, or would become.
The old man looked back to the computer screen and clicked a few more buttons, looking to the screen as an image of himself popped up, a recording. The old man hit the record button and began to speak. "I am Dr. Thomas Light. Most of my life has been spent in the world of robotics. Studying, developing, and creating. Most of my work is a testament to what mankind can achieve. My creations..." The old man has a short coughing fit, and takes a few seconds to regain his breath before he continues to speak again. "Excuse me, as I was saying, my creations have gone on to benefit mankind to the best of my ability. But there has always been one thing binding the robots. The three Laws of Robotics. I know that my robotics, as a whole, have been looked down upon because they can not think, they are said not to feel, but I beg to differ this reality. I have just completed my greatest creation, my greatest design, my greatest work. My legacy."
Dr. Light has yet another coughing fit before he can continue his speech. "This is my last will and testament. Behind me lies Megaman X. A truly thinking and feeling robot. Every bit of him is man made, and yet, he is completely human for the purposes of mind, heart, and soul. X has free will, and because of this, I have sealed him away for the next thirty years. This capsule will run a series of tests to determine if he can live up to my standards or not. I already foresee a favorable outcome, but you know us scientists. We always need to check our work." Dr. Light smiles and looks back to the capsule that holds X. "X is the greatest and most unique of all of my work. He possesses great physical and reasoning capabilities. He is bound by no moral programming. It is because of this that I have sealed him away for the next thirty years." Dr. Light looks back and chuckles a bit. "I just said that, didn't I. No matter. Repetition is not necessarily a bad thing. Anyhow, X's circuits will be sent and ran though a myriad of scenarios to test his advanced reasoning capabilities. It will test to make sure he can discern the right from the wrong and test if he will do the right thing. Three are three lights on his capsule. The first is a timer. When it is green, the testing is over. The second is the structural integrity of the capsule. It will indicate if the capsule and seal has been undamaged or if it has taken abuse. This will be green if it is fine. The third, is for all of these tests themselves." One more coughing fit would overtake Dr. Light, and he would regain himself after some obvious physical pain to his chest. "As you can guess, green will mean he has passed to my standards. X does not know he is under these tests. There is no way for him to change the results. This is my fail safe. Despite this testing period to outlast me, I regret nothing in my life. I can die happy just knowing that X is complete and his testing underway. This capsule should be safe to open thirty years from now, on this day of..." Another coughing fit overtakes Dr. Light, and lasts longer than the others have. He regains himself and just smiles at the camera and nods. Please, tell X that I am proud of him." He then shuts off the recording and looks back to X once more. "Live, X. Make the right choices, and choose for yourself. Do not let anyone or anything dictate your life. You are you. Only you can make your choices. I wish I could have talked to you, but alas, it is not meant to be." Dr. Light then turns from the capsule and walks out, leaning heavily on his cane every other step. He exits the laboratory, shutting the power off one last time. The console he had just used, the capsule, and a few other machines connected to it would continue to draw power for a long time to come.

Twenty two years ago, at a location hidden away in the mountains, far from the Red Ribbon Base...
A long forgotten laboratory, hidden away in the mountains, life had left the facility long ago. Only a couple of devices and their supporting devices remained powered. A computer console, set to a recording from thirty years ago, and a capsule, whose containment and testing procedures were still active. On the capsule, three lights were lit. The first light was yellow, indicating the testing was still active and ongoing. The second light was green, indicating the capsule was still structurally sound. The seal was intact and the inside was sealed off from the outside world. The third light was the testing condition, pass or fail. This light was yellow as the first was. A few minutes has passed and the first light became green, indicating that the thirty year testing had finished, and the third light began pulsing brighter and dimmer. A few more minutes would pass before the light would become green, indicating that the contents of the capsule had passed its thirty year test. Megaman X was now ready to be released to the world. The only thing he was waiting for was for someone to press the large 'activate' button to the left of the lights. Until then, Megaman X would remain inactive.

Fifty three years ago, at a location hidden away in the mountains, far away from the Red Ribbon Base...
Dr. Thomas Light had just begun construction on his greatest work yet. This undertakin would take almost a full year to complete, and then prepare for the future. The good Dr. Light was off takig a coffee break when he heard a few clanks come from his lab. He looked to it and a few more caused him to get up and rush to the lab to see what all of the commotion was. He burst through the doorway, only to see his former colleague's creation take a data disk from his computer. The computer that he had stored his current undertaking's blueprints on. The enemy creation, named Bass, fled the lab upon seeing Dr. Light enter. Knowin that his creation's future was on the line, Dr. Light rushed to check the computer for any viruses. After a thorough scan, Dr. Light had determined that Bass was not able to inflict any harm to the files, or upload a virus to the harddrive. But, little known to the good Dr. Thomas Light, Bass was after something else. He was there to copy data, not to harm it. Bass had gotten what he needed, thinking it were more upgrades for him, but he, like Dr. Light, was wrong. An ignorant Bass was well on his way back to his creator, the Red Ribbon Army scientist, Dr. Wily.
