Eracs wasn't having fun. He just got clipped by one of the falling walls. Running out into the open didn't seem good, nor was hiding under these walls. As an attempt to attack he chucked another piece of debris at the metal thing and hoped it would hit this time.
He looked at his friends. "Well getting it stuck under the wall might be a good idea! Make it easier to hit..."
"Or, wait, do you guys think this maze leads some place? What it we try solving it?"

Jam's tail flickered softly. eyes watching the walls. She was leaning on with all her weight to see what would happen. Maybe she could stop them from falling.
"Yes try to get it stuck under the wall. I'll try to hold this one if you're too slow." The Demoness wasn't quite sure how heavy this thing would be if they all fell.
"It might but I think we need to take care of the big guy before we try that! What if where ever it leads is a door that's locked?"

Draven didn't need much prodding. He only waited around for confirmation on his idea this time because the last time he tried something without mentioning it to others, he lost his string of lights in a utterly fail move.
"Alright. I will try to distract it. Even if I can't get it stuck...maybe you will have time to topple another wall-" He stopped short. Well, Eracs idea hadn't even crossed his mind. "I think, I think that is a great idea, Eracs, though we still need past the bot."
There were five of them...how many did they need to stop the walls falling? If Draven runs a diversion (and tries to trap the bot) and Eracs works on choosing a path for solving the maze (he had a good sense of direction having found the workshop and all) would the others be able to topple a wall? Draven figured they could, indeed.
"Alright. No matter what we do, we will have to get past that thing." He gestured towards the bot. "I will try to distract and trap it...If nothing else, maybe we can get past it?" He was grinning like a mad man when he turned with a bounce, ready to dart off towards the bot. He would later question why he thought this was a good idea. He would wonder why he thought it was fun. He would wonder why he wanted to run out there and be bait, especially when he had no control over his shifting. (This would be so much easier in bird form.)
For now, however, the plan was to run straight for the bot. He was hoping to run past it and dart between some bits of tumbling wall, hopefully trapping the bot while he escaped. He was confident he could dodge the walls, flying had honed his skills in telling the distance of objects relative to himself. The giant bot was the main variable; being bait would only work if the darn thing would follow him.

Wonderful! He and the new demon girl had come up with a plan. Now if it could work, oh how exciting this all was!
"So, trap it and try to find if there is something at the end of this maze thing?" Eracs pondered, he wasn't very strong but he could help wall moving.
Much of the area's walls had fallen and some where leaning. Maybe if they could tip one of the slightly leaning walls the other way? "Guys, think the wall piece over there would work? Draven, you can get it to chase you and we can try to push the wall the other way on top of it. Solve the maze after?
((PACH, I still love you. note to self, hp = 7, take one of two pills after next hit))

Draven had taken a few steps towards the bot, when he heard Eracs suggestion. Seeing where the scarecrow pointed, he nodded. "I can try!" With that he was gone. Out from their hiding place, heading towards the mechanical thing, hoping that it would indeed follow him.
They didn't have a whole ton of time, with the walls of the maze coming down around them. The excitement was also rushing to his head; he wanted to run around and taunt the thing.
He ran straight for it, ducking down to scoop up some tiny pieces of wall, and then hurled them at the bot's head. They wouldn't do any damage...but they might get it's attention. "Hey, you!" he yelled, "Over here!" Silently, he kicked himself for not having anything better to say. He would have to work on that.
He didn't completely stick around to see if it was paying attention to him. It could hit hard, and he didn't want to be a sitting target. He dashed to the side, hoping it would follow.
If he could get to the wall Eracs had pointed at and if they could push the wall over onto the robot...they might not even have to worry about the rest of the maze coming down on their hiding spot. Really, if they could put the bot out of commission, then well, they wouldn't need to hide.
Draven noticed he was dangerously close to a few toppling walls. Oh, Candlejack! Why was he doing this again?

Jamais watched from her position of keeping the wall up. Her tail flicking, "If that doesn't work you can try swearing at it." She called to Draven. Since that seemed to bring the things attention to her instead of whatever it was doing before hand.
She nodded at Eracs, "We can try it. if there was a way to wedge it between two walls then we try to solve the maze that might also help." Her tail flickered as she watched, "Which if the walls keep falling we could probably walk over them to find whatever is at the end if it isn't crushed."

He hadn't even noticed the walls stacked in a domino type of formation, although, now that he thought about it, made a lot of sense. It would explain how they were able to see and attack the monster while staying on the other side of it.
"What if this doesn't work?" Myr pondered out loud. The idea was sound, but there were a lot of extra variables that could screw up all sorts of things. He should know. That was the kind of things that happened to him
He went ahead and pulled a handful of trinkets out of the Bag of Joy, throwing them towards the robot. If this didn't work, they would need a back up plan and the more they injured the robot couldn't hurt.

The walls continue to fall. They're not really fast, however, so pushing them was a very real possibility. As for trying to distract the scout... he's in a steel tank, practically. Even the rock that cracked his windshield didn't cause him to jump.
However, the scout is also too smart to actually fall for letting the kids push a wall on him, backing up away from them instead.
Perhaps there is another option for that?
Though on the plus side, at least he didn't attack......HP:71Further Instructions! You guys are reset to attack again! I'll try to post a little more timely today now that my busy-busy attack is out of the way! Ahh! Good luck figuring out what to do~ C:

Draven looked behind him to see that the bot had actually backed up a bit. On top of that, it seemed utterly disinterested in him. Well. He came a screeching halt, and kicked a bit of wall debris at the giant metal thing. Which missed, completely.
Today was going wonderfully for the mock raven, wasn't it? He had to admit, though, it was a little bit fun. He was still grinning like a mad man, after all.
He ducked back towards the students. "No 'ifs', I suppose," he said, nodding at Myr. "No more ideas from me, either." Seriously, his second attempt at a plan had met the fate of the first, landing squarely in the not helpful category.
They could still push over the walls to stop the falling, though. Try to navigate the flattening maze was another option. If there were some other way to stop the bot...thinking of the bot, why hadn't it attacked? Not that he was complaining.

Well... that didn't work! "Um, guys, any guesses as to how to stop this thing? I vote for running..."
The scarecrow sighed. What was there to do? "You guys this this thing can actually follow through the maze? Or over the fallen parts, maybe it can't get through the debris that well..." Unless it could fly but he wasn't going to say that.
Trying to damage it at least Eracs tried to toss another piece of wall at it.

Listening to everything Alerick shrugged lightly. "I'll go with whatever is finalized. I just want to take this thing out and not continue to get hurt." He said even while he picked up some of the fallen wall. Throwing it at the bot.
"Just come up with an idea and give me some direction and I'll go for it."/

Plan 1 fail. Not too surprising really, but he had hoped that it might have had a little chance. But no, the robot was smarter than that. He thought for a minute, trying to come up with a new plan.
"Do you guys think that we might be able to reason with it? It hasn't actually tried to attack us directly, so maybe it isn't interested in that."
They weren't really having much luck attacking it, none of them seemed to be all that aggressive or even fighters, and so far that wasn't really working. Maybe if they would have had more people, but there were only five of them. It just wasn't working.
He picked up a rock as well, chucking it at the robot. Perhaps that wouldn't be the best plan if they did decide to try to reason with it, but, they could deal with that when it came up.

Jamais sighed, "Well help me push this thing then." She called at the others. "We need to pause the toppling. Then we can figure out what to do about the rest of it."
Her tail was flicking one wing was flared out trying to help in the pushing of the wall, the other tucked to her side, hurt. Her ears laid down as she tried to push the wall the opposite way. She wasn't sure if one person could actually topple the wall going the other way, even if she was a demon.
She looked at a piece of wall in reach of her tail. She pondered, wondering if she could toss it with her tail. If she could pick it up she knew she could toss it...
