The machine's ramblings about love confused Colette, and she deemed it crazy. She never did anything to love exactly. In fact, she tried to avoid love as much as possible. It made her feel quite awkward, and expressing such a feeling wasn't something she'd ever done before or looked forward to.
As she attempted to get up from the former action of falling on her behind, the Reaper was hit with the pulse of joy and fell again. She started to become furious at her own failure and let out an angry huff.

Without thinking, Rain turned and attempted to bite the mecha-elf on the leg. It didn't go so well. In fact, she was sure she had chipped a tooth! Not good! She'd have to stick with her claws from this point on or try to bite through the glass helmet.
"If you were meant to be in love, you'd be in love. Nothing can stop what is meant to be! It's obvious that your love is not!" Rain shouted at the elf from her position on the floor, "You need to move on!" What was up with this guy?

Oh. Oh great. "Take this!" the demon shrieked as she pulled the trigger, but the force of the snowball launching actually blew her backwards into a wall. And the snowball wasn't particularly big. Maybe the launcher had malfunctioned? Eh. She still had a pill to heal herself if she got really beat up!
...that was, if Hedera could get herself off the floor and ignore the small pieces of wall in her back. Candlejack it all.

Christof took a tumble when the bright lights of the robot's attack scorched through the workshop, clambering into an abandoned tiny elven chair. With a groan, he scrambled to his feet again, scowering the workbench for any abandoned tools that might prove useful- tiny screw drivers and even tinier pliers weren't of any use, but the wall of tiny hammers might do SOME good... snatching up a handful, he dodged forward again, ignoring his screaming, frustrated limbs that just barely were holding on thanks to his scarf-bandage, and hurled three hammers towards the cracks he and his comrades had made.
If they could get the cockpit open, they could drag the little bugger out and end this!

Alwine tried to block the pulse, but it made her arms throb.
"I don't even know what you're talking about anymore. We're just from the Krumm Car... and Candycane Lane. So we're the Krumm Candy Group, I guess... anyway, we're all friends, I don't see what your ranting really has to do with any of us!"
Alwine crossed her arms and tried to think about what the mech pilot was trying to say. Even after a moment of thinking, it didn't make sense.

Listening to the elfs rather insane ramblings she found herself frowning, "Hey now, that's rather unfair. I've never broken any hearts and I'm sure it's the same for most of us. Don't paste your own bad experiences on us!"
Mini-Speech given Mandy went in and gave the suit another good whack with tent pole, maybe she would hit something important and damage it if she kept this up.

"If not now, when?" Night ducked as Tybalt's wreath flew by him, missing his target and almost taking out Night's own head. Sighing, he looked at the giant robot before going over and picking up Tybalt's fallen wreath.
"Guess I'll just throw this then." Night said as he aimed for the robot and....hit! Oh good luck! "Hah! Take that you large unloving thing of metal and stuff."

 The Santa Scout of Love and Justice balked at the attempts to dent his metal armor.
"EVIL HEARTS CANNOT TOUCH THE BURNING MEMORY OF YOUNG LOVE!" he bellowed, spinning in an awkward pirouette, only to end in a pose, both hands pointing towards the young students, while heart-shaped BEAMS OF LOVE charged.
"PURE DEVOTION HEAAAAAAAAAART..........ATTACK!" he called, a creepy background of desu hearts popping up behind him and the mecha, while the lovebeams shot straight through the group of kids.

Another blow sent Colette to the ground before she could even fully get up. Again.
The Reaper laid there and sighed, thinking, What the hell is wrong with me?
She was doing fine before arriving in Christmas Town. Before that dead elf landed on her and transferred its joyous leftovers.
That's probably it. It couldn't just be her. Certainly not.
Besides not being able to attack again, Colette took off her jacket and threw it to the ground. It was the only thing that had come in perfect contact with that elf.
I should be fine now.

Mandy was so astounded and incredulous about the Elfs attack that she was unprepared when it hit her, I mean really, heart attack? Actually if the Elf suffered a heart attack that wouldn't be such a bad thing, less work for them.
Still, wishes aside, Mandy was not ready for the powerful blast and found herself thrown back, landing with a crack as her head hit the floor. Feeling slighting woozy and pulling her fingers back from inspecting her skull to find blood she decided to sit put this round and try to make the room stop spinning.

The joy emanated through them like searing, fear-shattering joyful knives and Christof felt his limbs give a shudder. He glanced around, making sure everyone else was faring well enough before this time grabbing the tiny elven chair instead, joining the zombie ghoul at the robot's feet to smash the wooden thing against it's knee joints, hoping to do SOMETHING- anything to stop it from another gut-wrenching love filled attack.

"T-thanks, Barth," the sloth demon called to the fellow one, slowly picking herself up off the floor. The EXTREME SNOWBALL LAUNCHER had gone flying when she was sent flying into the wall, and currently laid near Colette's feet.
If there was ever a reason not to attack, having been previously thrown into a wall because of a malfunctioning bazooka was as good as any.
