Well, she knew what was coming before she saw it. The shouting was a great alarm that Miss Belladonna was arriving shortly, and Colette looked at the approaching witch with a face of disbelief. She came too?
What Colette originally feared was really happening. Most of Krumm followed Barth and her up here.
Colette thought that Belladonna would certainly go another path, or at least hoped greatly. She didn't want to have others get hurt, she honestly didn't think the witch would last very long. Could she really handle a place like this? Plus this path was said to be very dangerous, why would such a ghoul choose head here? And oh Jack, she was loud. What if something had heard? Though Colette wasn't exactly quiet herself when she was looking for Barth. Maybe she was worrying too much.
She waved to Belladonna as she joined the group, hoping the ghoul would fare well. "We're good, nothing has attacked us and we've met some others too," she motioned to the strangers before realizing she never properly gave her name or received theirs.
"Oh, and I'm sorry.. I uh, never properly gave my name." Well, she had spoke with the red-haired boil, but that was out of annoyance and didn't really count as proper in any way to her.
"I'm Colette," she figured she might as well introduce Belladonna too, "and this is Belladonna. She's from Krumm too."

 One moment the way is clear and everything is sunshine and sprinkles, the next? A pale figure silently rises from the snow before you. It stares quietly for a moment before shifting silently, and suddenly the atmosphere is filled with a terrible pressure. Killing intent! Jamais twitched when the Ninja appeared. She tried to mutter something but when the attack happened all she could do was splutter.
Her eyes narrowed. "Bad idea." She muttered before rushing in aiming to punch the thing in the face. It seemed it was her lucky day even if it was only a small amount of damage done the blow glancing off the ninja's cheek and not it's nose like she'd hoped.

Raziel watched in horror as that thing appeared out of nowhere. Just its stare seemed to knock a little bit out of him. Without a moments hesitation, Raziel dashed forward, aiming to slice at the figure with his claws, trying to do as much damage as possible, he slipped just a little bit, bit still managed to hit his mark.

Mandy had been sorting through Barth's stuff to figure out what went where when the Ninja attack. Gasping from the strength of it's killing intent she dropped Barth's things to the ground for now, wishing she'd had the time to give his bell back, and threw one of her tent poles at the Ninja.
....only for it to sail harmlessly by. Great Job Mandy.

"OH JACK!" Basil screamed when the ninja appeared and quickly tried throwing a snowball at it, which completely missed. She got ready for the next attack.

Suddenly: SOME SORT OF PEPPERMINT NINJA.
AND IT HAD SEVERELY INJURED HIM. HE WASN'T SURE IF HE COULD CONTINUE.
Barth picked his bell back up. He'd worry about, err, attacking on the next turn. Where was he supposed to hide when everything was so pink.
He looked at West in envy. He had just the right color scheme for this environment.

Yeah, shouting her arrival had definitely been a VERY BAD IDEA, but what was done is done! So, with another shout (this one for victory!) Belladonna jumped up to slap the mysterious ninja... But, you know, that whole snow plus heels thing really went against her, so instead she fell back into the snow, not doing a Jack damned thing.
She did pull out her phone to text Braum, quickly typing the message "Attacked by ninja. Might die. Will still meet you at the end. I promise." That would certainly worry the poor boil, but she was hell bent and determined to make it to the end of this freakish journey!

Tsetsiliya was happily following along with the group that had grown to such a nice number. Safety in numbers! That was the reason why they hadn't been attacked so far, right?
Wrong.
The poludnica was reeled back by the sudden appearance of the snow ninja, before being hit with a force that made her dizzy. She repositioned herself and held the wreath in front of her protectively.
"S-stay away!" No, no, no, this wouldn't do - she had to throw it! With as strong a heave as she could muster, Tsetsiliya threw the wreath at the snow ninja and hoped upon hope that it hit.
.. Cracking open a fearfully closed eye after her throw, she was happy to see that her attack had hit its target!

Just as they were finally getting together and making a proper introduction, this happens.
Colette was dumbfounded, and she stared at the ninja for a good number of seconds. Not a very nice reaction time. This really was a bad idea.
As its glare made her feel sick to her stomach, Colette sensed it obviously wasn't here to play nicely and whipped out her swords. The Reaper charged at the creature and swung, but she didn't even think she bothered it.
Oh ******** indeed.

Danny was startled, one minute he was licking the pavement...and out of no place a ninja just showed up. He barked rabidly and emitted a snarl so loud that it would have bristled any near-by JOY filled animal with FEAR. He didn't want to get near it so he took the wreath that was hanging from his ghostly neck and tossed it and it's burnt lights at the ninja. Seriously Sandy had been watching way to much Naruto for his own good!

If he hadn't decided to continue walking backwards even when it was no longer necessary, he might not have jumped like a ninny when the peppermint stankin' ninja materialized out of the snow in front of them. That was West's story and he was sticking to it.
Instead of using his snowball launcher, he sort of... dropped it by accident and jumped at the thing instead, clawing and screaming bloody murder.

Danny who was once a tough guy looked at the tree then down to his paws. Yep that was clearly fresh yellow snow. And he was clearly sure he could make more of it looking at the Ninja. He couldn't help but do the only thing that came to mind. He raced over and grabbed the ninja's coat and with sobbing tears of hysteria begged for his life.
"I'm a good. Good dog. Please don't kill me...I love JOY. I love JOY alot. And Sandy Claws...and and and...I'll never pee on Christmas trees...and..."
He continued to sob so much he took one damage from the ninja soaking him with his ectoplasm tears.
