 Komachi would like a word with you. And while I'm on that subject, ZUN is just plain not good at drawing breasts. At all. So typically, to judge whether or not a character is flat or busty, typically ZUN draws their shirt or top part of their dress or whatever at an angle. Example, Yuka. As you can clearly see, her clothes are angled outward. That's really the only kind of indication ZUN gives on breast size. A few other examples. Eirin. Not as noticeable, but still there. Byakuren, you can see it's partly curved. I'm not going to go through every character, but it's easy to see that not all of the characters are flat. /argument

Good point, doesn't mean I'll stop basing my entire perception off how The Great One Himself or Herself does it in a series. I just didn't notice the curves in their clothes.

Asuka Hayata Good point, doesn't mean I'll stop basing my entire perception off how The Great One Himself or Herself does it in a series. I just didn't notice the curves in their clothes. The other artists have as much of a say in this as ZUN. Even more than him in certain cases, such as the three fairies (ZUN has no property rights over their designs).

Except I think, Daiyousei. Although in fanart she has some, but since ZUN hasn't come up with a proper protrait of Dai-chan, I guess we can only assume for now.
Can Dai-chan at least have a decent part in Touhou 13, I wonder?

A character whose very name is made by fans doesn't have much of a future. Koakuma has a better shot than Dai. Sorry Dai, but a cameo in Fairy Wars is the most you and your little dragonfly wings are going to get.
